Is this not over reinforcement? Combining H-beam with bar reinforcement seems too heavy thereby defeating the aim of what you intend to achieve both in safety and economy aspect.I guess only the H-beam should have been enough.

Secondly I noticed that there are drop beams in the living room, why didn't you use internal beams that will hide in the slab as to improve aesthetic or are you going to hide the drop beams with POP ceiling?

Spyder sorry to bring you back. Please what is name of this metal plate you used for this beam and why did you add it to the already reinforced beam? Was it included in the structural design or was it just your initiative because of the span length of the beam. Thanks.

We build not only for safety but also for economy. The main purpose of applying nylon is to retain concrete from sipping through the gaps in the formwork thereby reducing wastage of concrete.

The bond you mentioned can’t work here.
Either Flemish bond, header bond etc can’t fully work on this aspect of block setting on this portion.
And all the holes of the block seen there was filled up with concrete, means crack can’t occur on the joint.

It's very possible. Look at the picture attached.

My brother this is wrong. You should have done this with a weak concrete instead of the blocks to carry the weights of those beams. Secondly you should have used a stretcher bond since you decided to use blocks.

Always try to use stretcher or English bond for your block laying. This is wrong.

I want to ask, why didn't you apply DPM before concrete pouring for the slab. Secondly I can vividly see honeycombs in your columns what could be the cause?

My wife is a double qualifued Nurse, she works with a private hospital but she wants to have another source of income because she normally works at most 20days in a month and the work is based on shift. 8am-2pm for morning duty, 2pm-6pm for afternoon duty and 6pm-8am for night duty.
