PoliticsRe: Tinubu Asks Governors To Ignore Buhari’s Order, Enforce Use Of Old Naira Notes by Authority1o1(m): 10:44am On Feb 17, 2023
Okay...

APC fighting against APC. Perhaps, this is the effect of the prayers of Christians who prayed for war in the enemy's camp, APC.

Tinubu cannot upturn the order of the GCFR of Nigeria and expect people to comply. The bullion van politician wants to deceive people into collecting an invalid currency to vote for him.

Whether you're able to spend the money afterwards is none of his business.

Our Darling Daddy must never remove his feet from Tinubu's blokos.
PoliticsRe: CBN Should Ensure The Availability Of New Naira Notes To Nigerians - Peter Obi by Authority1o1(m): 8:18am On Feb 06, 2023
Okay...

Make this man put him leg one place.
Yesterday you were praising the policy saying it has long term benefits.
Na today you wan begin speak on behalf of Nigerians. Na today day break.
When you're called an urchin now, it'd seem like an insult. Peter Obi espoused people like you with the benefits of the redesign. Does that cancel the fact that the new notes should be made available to Nigerians?

Believe me, tribalism is an unnatural, induced feeling. It's masked hatred that springs from loathsome generalization based on the actions of a few.

The few times I nearly plunged into becoming a hateful tribalist, Tinubu, Nairaland Urchins and Twitter bats were the cause.

And once again I step into the larger society and begin to relate with persons from this tribe and realize that I shouldn't judge a whole ethnic group as being tribalistic because of the fruits of a few.

Such a wonderful song prepared by forward-thinking, detribalized folk.
PoliticsPropaganda: Fake News With A Dead Link Is On The Front Page by Authority1o1(op): 9:01am On Jan 18, 2023
A dubious thread has made it to front page with link that leads to nowhere.

See here:

If not for defamation and shady reasons, we wonder why such a report of things that didn't happen, was made.

We demand that it be Taken Down.

It's not as if the story itself is a big bother for me or any right thinking person as worse things have been reported, but it's just that we cannot allow outright falsehood to be promoted.

If you want to continue to blame each state for poor security, then you should make them in charge of their policing.

The federal government that has control over every security outfit should be blamed for every single case of insecurity.

Just look at how Lagos was set ablaze by OPC and their colleagues.

PoliticsPVC Challenge: Show A Picture Of Your PVC And State Who You Will Vote For by Authority1o1(op): 3:04pm On Jan 08, 2023
Showing a picture of your PVC would make the challenge more realistic as participants are very likely to partake in the upcoming presidential election.

Clicking likes and shares is effective only in roughly aggregating the leaning of the electorate, but not in determining the actual ratio of the voters.

Let's determine the ratio of supporters of different presidential candidates on Nairaland, here and now.

I'll open the floor.

I'll vote for Peter Obi of Labour Party.

Okay...

If Obi or any Obi-dient tries to debunk this claim, I'll be disappointed by how they've failed to understand the handiworks of the opposition, APC most especially.

Because a lot of unguided Nigerians are peddling lies against Obi and misinterpreting his speech, APC stroke Tinubu Urchins Incorporated (TUI) have continues to create lies in order to foster their narratives.

Who doesn't realize that APC has been rejected at all fronts? My problem with Tinubu is not that he is contesting after he used deceit to install the greatest Nigerian tragedy AKA Buhari, my sincere problem with him is that out of deadly desperation, he has deployed a more fierce instrument of deceit to grab power. No remorse.

Double arrogance, double deceit, double of everything he's ever done as a politician. Nigerians can all burn in hell.

None, actually. I came across the poll you conducted and was impressed by how you could pull off such a task of finding out how many eligible voters have cards.

That's why we should laugh at all those political adverts here.

You don't understand me, let's say LegendHero or other urchins makes a comment praising Tinubu he gets 350likes, then I make a similar comment (obviously not with this moniker an alternate moniker, also praising Tinubu right under his own comment.
The first five or ten comments on a thread, he could get 300- 400 likes, while my own comment is barely getting 18- 30 likes ..

That's the point I'm making, they have a system where the main urchins get massive likes only, don't know how they do it, maybe the mods are involved.
But it's all fake, I guess, based on my experience..
We're almost saying the same thing, though. But your own observation is outdated. If you study how many reactions their comments now generate, you're going to see they're a shadow of what they used to be.

Only on very rare occasions, with advantageous positioning (1st—7th comment) can they get such.

BigSarah:
The fake likes are still on, create a moniker, make pro Tinubu comments, you won't get 10 likes.

Let other recognizable urchins make same comments you see hundreds of likes
They do, but now on rare occasions. For an urchin's comment to get that number, a pro-Obi comment has gone pass 400+.

There are still deposits of Tinubu's supporters here and there and it's understandable that everyone cannot be reasonable and useful at the same time.
PoliticsWhatever Seun Did, He's Done His Bit For Us by Authority1o1(op): 1:34pm On Dec 20, 2022
Whatever it was that Seun Osewa did, he's done his two pence for Nigerians clamouring for a transition from a dysfunctional government.

Public opinion on the internet is best aggregated by designated reaction tools. On Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, mention it, the simplest way of weighing the thoughts of the public on a matter is how much likes, dislikes, hahas or frowns it ganers.

And it makes sense that APC would go all the way to influence the public opinion of Nairaland users (which is actually a very effective political platform with many users) to pass the message that they're loved and still have many supporters. Only that all those ridiculous likes and shares were done by bots. Not normal people.

And after Seun's attention was called to it, despite the emotional blackmails they posed at him, the fakes all died with the dusk of the day.

Now, a LeoDePauper or IhordMugu, or whatever their names are barely get any attentions. It's not as if they ever did.

Lol.
PoliticsOpinion: If Atiku Is So Sold Out To Igbo Presidency, He Should Step Down For Obi by Authority1o1(op): 10:45am On Dec 16, 2022
Atiku's choice of Igbos has nothing to do with his partiality towards Igbos, but infact has appeared to be a political calculation.

I dare Atiku to choose a Yoruba man as his running mate when he fails again in 2023. I dare him. He cannot because he knows PDP has little footing in SW, and believes SE/SS are favourably disposed to PDP.

This same Atiku, during the PDP primaries conjured against Obi using the willing tool in the person of Ayu to become the flag bearer. He didn't stop his race at that juncture when he saw Obi (a person of Igbo extraction) contesting, but brazenly went ahead to drag the prize with him.

If he's so sold out to Igbo presidency, he should step down and campaign for Obi. But we all know how self-entitled Fulanis can be.

A Fulani supremacist wanting to take over from another Fulani supremacist should never talk about equity or being a gateway to Igbo presidency.

The agberoistic tendencies of APC and PDP must always find ways to put their heads above the waters of law.

Did you see a single poster/billboard bearing the faces of Obi/Datti being torn down?

You'll never see any. Despite the fact that Soludo bears unrequited animosity towards Obi, he will never find a chance to tear down any billboard belonging to LP's candidate.
PoliticsJubilation As Lagos Residents Capture Gutter Poopers In Mushin (photo) by Authority1o1(op): 10:57am On Dec 10, 2022
Intense Jubilation as residents of Mushin capture two gutter Poopers.

Two men identified as Waris Onabanjo and Musiliu Abas have been dragged to the police station following their capturing by residents in Mushin area of Lagos state.

In the evening of Friday December 9, 2022, residents who have always bewailed the loathsome stench proceeding from water paths due to the constant deposits of faeces by unknown persons, finally triumphed over the menace by laying hold on the two men.

Speaking to a correspondent, a resident who sought anonymity said that they were happy that part of the entities causing the menace have become scapegoats.

“We have always wondered why people would turn the gutters into a toilet. We even printed bills that warned against such, yet it didn't stop. We're happy we have scapegoats now.”

Incidents like this however, would make one question how Lagos is considered a mega city, given that slummy lifestyle abounds in the state.

Although you're an urchin, you seem to be a respectful and sane one. But you're an urchin nevertheless.

It appears the leadership of Nairaland Urchinery have decided to class you all under two groups—the hypocritical, violent, tribalistic class and the less barbaric class. Both with different objectives.

Like I said, you're an urchin nevertheless because you believe a drug-running thief who delegates questions to people to answer for him is the one who has a solution to Nigeria's problem.

I'd be very upset with these men up if they failed to collect at least #50k each from those men who have been paid from Tinubu's Lagos treasury. Standing in the sun shouldn't be free when you know that the dashiki-wearing elites have all been batified with Lagos tax payers money.

Don't pity any APC official who you suspect has a potential or possibility for controlling APC money. Milk them, and do their bidding for the camera.

They cannot be paid with Ghana-must-go and expect you as a commoner to work and show up for the party out of love. Why should your own love be free?

APC has not given a common Nigerian any reason to vote for them again.

Urchins are truly becoming creative with their campaign of calumny and lies. I was keenly observing to see between PDP and APC, who would out-lie the other. True to my expectations, APC still lead the game. PDP still have a lot of lie lectures to attend before they can be at par with APC whose mushroom WhatsApp groups are part of the machinery of their lie factories.

Imagine coming up with this narrative to discredit LP. I wouldn't have thought about it myself. Behind those accounts are violent APC Twitter Urchins who are becoming more frustrated.

Just dig into those accounts and you'd see that the operators are one Lukgaf Akinjobi and Salaudeen Mustapha, all aphonjified muzlimz..

The problem you have with your current landlord, I hope it has nothing to do with payment of house rent?

That aside, I've heard stories similar to yours. I only thought that this doesn't happen in real life.

Well, all I can say is that you have to step into his realm of perception and understand the reasons behind his sentiments. I think that before now, he has gone through experiences that heightened his fear. Perhaps, out of all the people that did not pay him in the past, an overwhelming percentage is of your ethnicity.

I think you should just look for another place and leave the man to his unfounded beliefs. It is his property and he pretty much can decide who he gives it out to.

Work hard and ensure that all your life, you'll never give any landlord an opportunity to validate this sentiment.
