Some days ago, someone placed Peter Obi's achievements in Anambra side-by-side that of Tinubu. Honestly it was very revealing.

Tinubu did nothing in Lagos. Any development which Lagos enjoys today is a product of PPP projects and accruals of private businesses.

A lot of people are chanting that Peter Obi did nothing in Anambra, but evidence shows that while he was governor the state excelled marvelously in education, security; standard of living was good etc.

Obi is very qualified for the job.

Tinubu would have ended up 'labouring in vain' when he is grossly defeated by Obi in 2023.

His permutation and plan was that by installing Buhari, he would inherit Buhari's supporters when the president would have been through and therefore have a smooth walk to Aso Rock.

Well, his hoping was ludicrous and would make for a late night comedy.

Northern Muslims place Islam before their own parents in their decisions and Tinubu isn't Muslim enough. Even his Kanuri running mate isn't loved.

In all, I see Obi cruising to victory while the self-acclaimed master strategist continues to shoot himself in the foot.

Before the coming of Peter Greg Obi in 2019, Nigerian youths had a reputation for voter apathy. They had always believed that it is more rewarding to spend the days of election before screens or on fields playing football than go out to bring in the same crop of thieves who parade as messiahs.

Igbos also had the same reputation until 2019.
Before the election, statistics showed that the once indifferent Southeast registered in their droves, so much so that the most recent 2022 registration didn't have much number because almost every southeasterner who was of age in 2019 registered to oust Buhari.

Peter Obi is a living legend who, if not for anything else, should be appreciated for bringing hope and joy to ordinary Nigerians.

Nairaland inarguably is among the most visited websites in Nigeria. It is a good place to get updated on the go and also a mine of useful academic, political, travel, health topics etc.

The implication of these obtainables is that real life people, and not bots; real life people visit it and read things here.

Mr. Osewa, perceiving that he may not be able to totally inhibit the creation of certain posts/comments which could be reader-harmful even with the rules published for all to see, placed a disclaimer at the bottom of every Nairaland page to exonerate and acquit himself of any post which could lead to undesirable consequences of which a legal case is part of.

But a moderator moving a tribalistic and divisive post Front Page is a different case. That means that Nairaland is being complicit to tribalism and ethnic division.

I recently saw a caricature of the frontline contenders in the forthcoming election, and in it, Wike was depicted as an attention-grabbing damsel who these aspirants all want.

I think Obi more perfectly deserves a similitude of such a caricature.

In it, he should be shown as a liitle, 'structureless' boy who continues to quake the structures of establshed parties, and who suddenly became the name in the mouths of every person, both of the opposition and otherwise.

Some other popular personalities in the persons of the eighty-years old E.A Adeboye, W. Kumuyi, Charles Oputa, Olusegun Obasanjo who are or have surpassed his age are physically more healthy than Tinubu, because they do not seem to uphold certain health-threatening lifestyles.

If Anambra, which was part of the states brought to their knees during the Civil War could take an unimaginable leap in the area of education, commerce, banking and agriculture all without the leverage of capital city, then I expect more from Lagos.

What is happening in Lagos that other states are not experiencing? Airport? Roads? Education? Skyscrapers? Seaport? What?

It's so ludicrous that APC has began to campaign using Lagos State because they hope on exploiting the nativity and impressionability of the Nigerian masses who are unfortunately not well travelled.

A visit to Onitsha—the same city which was prominently galloted by war—would let your mouth drop in amazement of why there is so much fuss about Lagos State whose only development is PPP projects.

You can look up for Buba Marwa's achievements and credit them to Tinubu too since every Lagos State governor's attainments all belong to him.

You can start from the achievements of colonial administrators of Lagos. John Glover for a start.

If one gives it a push, one realizes after all that Tinubu has nothing to show for his 8-year tenure as a governor in Lagos. Always stealing credits.
