I was considering marrying a girl through recommendations and stuffs without true dating and stuffs. But this your story is a testament that it doesn't work out well like that. I believe you brought your wife from another town and most possibly a village because she didn't know any man and is well behaved, the reason why she's a virgin according to you. But here's the thing, she is just discovering you and it turned out you both don't match. The fact she started flings with someone else due to the nature of your job, if that there was any real connection before marriage you would have seen these signs and would have made a better decision concerning her. One advice you got wrong on this platform is reacting quickly to your discoveries. Sometimes a man sits back and acts stupid till he gets a verified established fact before acting. The moment you saw these signs, especially the day you came back earlier to spoil her plans, you would have stepped back a bit and acted stupid to buy yourself more time to verify your suspicion, remember until established suspicions are not facts. Reacting quickly to your suspicions damaged your relationship with your wife that was why she went from probably hiding what she feels about you to showing you and telling you to your face. For her pregnancy you are unsure about, I will advice you to be calm about the situation, I know you're emotionally drained but a man of your age should learn to be emotionally strong as every happenings is all life lessons. Wait for her to put to birth to ascertain with certainty the baby's paternity through DNA test. Start saving for it because that will be only how you can be certain of that the baby is yours or not. Be strong. |
Ilamina:It could have been much interesting if you had shared the movie name. What's the movie name? |
mariovito:If they gave you life to come figure life out from the onset and no viable foundation to start from, they failed you and your supposed future. |
Men understand this from day 1 but woman live in denial from the onset. |
I'm very grateful to my parents for giving me a solid foundation. By God's grace I'm well educated and an established entrepreneur. In essence, exposure or financial buoyancy are barely my problems. But I realized my foundation didn't train me on a truth early enough, about the advantages of having real opposite sex connections and also the advantages of early marriage. I got to learn about these truths around my 24 and started aligning myself aright. This made me start a relationship with the view that by 28 after NYSC we'd marry if things work out but things stopped working out some months before I turned 28, even before NYSC duty called at that same age. Now 29, I have found it difficult to settle for any girl so far, despite the fact I seriously long to marry a wife. With all of these happenings I realized my foundation erred in this area, imagine if I had a foundation that meant I connected with a lot of the opposite sex and had the mindset of early marriage I know I would not be in this situation as I am right now. Finding my wife has not been easy. |
Bahamas95:How about a woman being so much into alcohol? |
Nigeria and wastefulness is 5 & 6. This is so sad. Their entitlements are earned and we'll deserved but the over of anything is not healthy and this is very overboard. |
ChizzyBuna:I'm not a part of that 90%. |
ChizzyBuna:There's a God in heaven, the most powerful. |
ChizzyBuna:That is why we are mere mortals. How He understands things is not like us. |
ChizzyBuna:An evil fornicator that brings more souls to God than not doing anything at all might just have a soft spot in God's heart. When this evil fornicator combines it with purity, then this evil fornicator will become unstoppable in God's kingdom. |
Emmy000seun:No mind bitter man. I agree every blessing aligns and it's only a matter of time. Are you a girl dedicating your life to Hallelujah Challenge or any other work for God for the blessing of a husband, He will do it for you. Just keep doing just that in absolute faith in Him. |
My mum single handedly took care of my 3 siblings high institution bills without asking my dad for a penny. And also was the one that got my first properties while I was entering the university. |
Tenrack:Not yet. For your previous message, how do I get you involved when you're probably not in the same state as myself. I'm in Eastern Nigeria. |
I'm at the point in my business that accounting has become a big challenge. Patronage is high that keeping track of debtors and other financial details have become a problem. How can I solve this situation please? |
Kaczynski:There's a difference. With LinkedIn, you position for jobs. With his innovation, I think you apply for multiple jobs and show what you're made off. Work hard and pray hard to be blessed with an idea and the right people and resources to execute it. |
CodeTemplarr:You're wise. |
Poor emotional intelligence. I'm also guilty of having a poor emotional intelligence. God help me. |
kppo:Thank you for this. Do you mean he shouldn't go the spiritual traditional way in tackling the Issues and how should he make use of these Bible verses you gave? |
For years my brother's life has been going in a circle, he just isn't making any progress at all. He will be 34 next year. But there's this thing. He just called me now to repeat what he has been saying for years, that he has been revealed to 3 different times since 2012 that he has an AGWU (an Igbo related juju) planted for him in the village. He has tried relating those to my parents all these years and given our strong Christian background, we have brushed it all aside as nonsense. Now he has involved my maternal uncle who has advised him that as this is a traditional matter he should go the traditional way. My brother called me to tell me all of these going on for years. I'm so confused as to the right advice to give to him, I have already advised he use the man of God that first revealed this to him years ago that he brushed aside. I'm so confused and really want to know if traditional should go with traditional as my uncle advised? |
I tell you, this is so funny. If it is genuine, this should be the most awkward first time encounter ever. |
Perhaps I asked the wrong section of Nairaland. Crazy! |
Fellow forum people, happy new month. I have been thinking lately how much should be budgeted for marriage for one hoping to marry in the next 2 years. If you're conversant with your tribe's possible marriage costs, like the traditional dowry rites of your tribe, the wedding costs for both traditional and religious, and lastly, the reception costs, kindly share. I believe I am not the only one that will be enlightened from your contributions. Thank you. |
How someone's wife will be ugly and lazy but so disrespectful to the husband. And another's wife will be so beautiful and hardworking yet very respectful and loyal to the husband. |
You need to move on. You're interested in him while he isn't interested in you. That makes the interest unequal. Until it becomes equal with a person, marriage/love is deceiving yourselves. |
What do you know about selling of plastic drinks like this?

tunapawizzy:I don't know why they prefer the skin to skin a lot. I tell you, literally all the girls I have done this with eventually starts demanding for skin to skin. |
It's still your gender that will want unprotected knacking from men. In my history of knacking, all the girls prefer the unprotected ones. They are the ones that will plead for a skin to skin. |
As a man, I think we get to a point we start craving for everyday companionship from a babe. I think at this point is an obvious signal that it's time to marry a wife. Mehn, whatever it is, I think marriage is good to get this everyday companionship. As long as you're getting this, then no regrets. |
ZaraArewa:You must be easy to get lol |
