Google has launched a service called YouTube Kids, a new version of the internet’s leading destination for video aimed squarely at children.the service is available as a free app on iOS and Android, and at the moment, it can only be accessed within the U.S. “[YouTube Kids is] the first Google product built from the ground up with the little ones in mind,” Shimrit Ben-Yair, YouTube Kids group product manager, said in the post. “The app makes it safer and easier for children to find videos on topics they want to explore.” The company says search gives users access to YouTube’s main database of videos, but that YouTube Kids’ results are automatically filtered for safe content. The service also gives adults a range of parental controls, including the ability to disable search completely, limit screen time and cap the volume. Google has disabled comments on the service, but it does show some kid-friendly ads. For Google, entering the children’s market is a move that has been a long time coming. How do I check the variant

(just to be sure) turn off your phone . then press and hold volume down + home button + power button , stop pressing the key combinations as soon as you see the samsung logo come up...after the samsung logo , you'll see something like 'downloading' and below it you'll see 'continue' use volume up to 'continue' ....you'll see variant of your device , be it sm-g900f or sm-g900h as the case may be.

a factory reset should fix such an issue.

I flashed Lollipop on my s4 this week via Odin. It wiped the phone storage clean.

I've also flashed stock rom on my s3 in the past, via odin; phone got wiped.

maybe you flashed the leaked rom that first came out.
PS: i've never experienced such since my day one of flashing stock official samsung firmwares via odin.

Nope , it doesn't on Samsung when you flash the official firmware via Odin , ( talking from experience ).

On Android, Google Now serves as the virtual assistant Siri is on iOS and Cortana is on Windows Phone (WP). Thus, Google Now can take voice commands and act on them. But up until recently that did not include toggling certain system settings. The good news is that as of this moment Google Now is in fact able to toggle your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections on or off, as well as the flashlight functionality enabled by your phone’s LED flash. Before, if you told Google Now to “turn Wi-Fi off” for example, it would simply take you to the relevant menu inside Settings (and this is still what happens if you use Google Now on older versions of the OS). Now , when you tell it to turn Wi-Fi on or off, it simply does that without no hesitation. Once you’ve told Google Now what to do, you get audio feedback letting you know that the action has been performed, as well as a card and a small toggle (as you can see from the screenshots below). The toggle that’s displayed helps you quickly revert an action if you made a mistake.For now just these three commands (wi-fi , bluetooth , LED flash) work like this.

The Google Play store for Android is about to receive an updated search bar. The new setup was teased by a Google UI engineer and is due to arrive in the near future.The improved functionality will be available as a server-side update. hence , You will not need to update the Google Play store app if you are already running the latest version.
