its stuck on edge, it wont change to 3g or 4g even when i selected wcdma only.. what can i do to solve this>??

you gotta deal with it or you could just turn off notifications and stop getting notified from the App.

hi avatar, its nice meeting people with great minds of tirelessly helping people on NL especially with their different phone problems. I have a samsung galaxy s3 international version which I rooted not too long ago, it is running on android 4.2 and I recently want to upgrade the os to either 4.4 or 5.0, I downloaded d os but on installing i got stuck with an error notifications. Pls can u help a brother with an easy step by step method on how to upgrade to any of either 4.4 or 5.0. Thanx in anticipation and may God continue to enrich you in knowledge as you help.

Easy there bro , don't brick your device !. 4.4/5.0 isn't available for the international variant of the S3 , only android v4.3 jelly bean is.

yes I find out but will wait on reviews before thinking of flashing with odin.

checked the review out ...it's great. you could flash the firmware if you can't wait ( you can always flash back to your desired region when it's out ).

Hi all.

Flashed the Lollipop thingy 2days ago.

The only flaw is the huge floating notification banner that comes up when there's a bbm/WhatsApp message. Even if you're watching a video, the banner comes up and stays there for a while. It's really annoying.

Any work around?

Nope , Just swipe 'em off when it comes up.

it's meant for the 'xolo one' and hence it isn't compatible with your device;except you wanna 'hard brick' your device.

lollipop isn't available for the variant of your S4 yet and secondly , your phone is 'Rooted' , that's why you got the 'phone has been modified' thingy.

that's weird...try to uninstall the game completely and install over again...if that doesn't work , then a factory reset should solve the problem.

F*** Lolipop. Sucks and lags. That verion of android is going to spoil android market. Thinking of switching to ubuntu phones OSs, or even going to new Samsung Tizen OSs. Android to me unless updated to 5.1+ fixing it' huge errors is dead.

even on XDA , no one has ever complained of lollipop 'lagging' and i'm a testimony of that.
P.S: what type of device do you use ??

Walahi. I swear to Eledumare, I will never buy a phone I can't upgrade it's OS again. I'm stuck on jellybean os released 2 years because stupid tecno refused to upgrade the OS on my phantom a plus. I'm so angry.
