mrbionic:Note 5 or Note 7. They're both powerful devices. |
Too many trollings about this. we've heard of similar cases from other oems, this shouldn't be much of a big deal. Samsung is doing a good job by recalling all affected units. i really don't know what the fuss is all about. oh wait, this is the internet ![]() |
samrazzy:Do you have the Sm-J700H or Sm-J700F? |
Lol. They don't need your eyes, but a stock ROM for the device and the appropriate flash tool. |
I'm currently using this device. Battery is great, Performance is superb. Overall for a 1.5gb ram device, i say it's very impressive. Marshmallow on this device, specifically The SM-J700H, is far better than lollipop. Battery wise and performance wise. I created a thread on this update and its process, feel free to check it out ------> https://www.nairaland.com/3177971/samsung-pushes-android-marshmallow-galaxy |
What the Op is trying to say is, WhatsApp introduced a "Quote message" feature. This feature enables you to quote a specific post, maybe in the past or present. Instead of using the traditional "@" In a group chat or the likes, You just gotta tap and hold on the post you intend on quoting, you'll see a curved arrow, tap on it and write whatever you wish to write. See image below:

Download Greenify from the play store and hibernate RAM hugging apps such as Facebook and messenger. More RAM consumption = Battery Drain. |
mutvy:This can only happen if Tecno sees beyond just selling phones. |
Samsung has started rolling out Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow to its exynos variant of the device (SM-J700H). This comes after the OS update was pushed to its smaller sibling, Galaxy J5. Marshmallow update for Galaxy J7 is currently rolling out only in Russia, and other regions should follow in some couple of days. The update is rolling out via OTA (over-the-air) and many users are already getting Android 6.0 marshmallow update. If you can't wait for the OTA update, and want to test you geeky skills, then follow this link -----> http://www.stechguide.com/update-samsung-galaxy-j7-to-marshmallow/

Sony wants to make one thing clear: It's no bargain smartphone company. That's the impression the Japanese consumer electronics made today as it unveiled the Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact and Xperia Z5 Premium, which all share a powerful 23-megapixel camera, waterproof body and fingerprint scanner. The differences between models are primarily the screen size, materials and, in the case of the Z5 Premium, a super high-resolution "4K" display. There's a lot to like about these phones. Sony claims its Z5 phones have the fastest auto-focus speed in any smartphone. The company also boasts that the phones all get two-day battery life, which may appeal to those who struggle to get through even a single work day without finding an outlet for a recharge. The Z5 Compact may appeal to customers who long for a smaller device in an age when flagship smartphones are only getting bigger. Sony hasn't provided pricing details, but the features and specifications suggest a price more in the range of an iPhone 6, which sells for $650 for the unlocked version. Google has changed a lot over the past 17 years—from the range of our products to the evolution of their look and feel. starting Today, the tech giant has introduced a new logo and identity family that reflects this reality and shows you when the Google magic is working for you, even on the tiniest screens. It doesn’t simply tell you that you’re using Google, but also shows you how Google is working for you. For example, new elements like a colorful Google mic help you identify and interact with Google whether you’re talking, tapping or typing. Google is also saying adieu to the little blue “g” icon and replacing it with a four-color “G” that matches the logo. The galaxy note 5 vs S6 edge+

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+, two phablets that will handle the role of the company’s late 2015 flagships in different regions. The Galaxy Note 5 is the more important device here, as the Galaxy S6 edge+ is simply a blown-up version of the Galaxy S6 edge. Both devices share similar specs for the most part, with the Note 5′s claim to fame being the S Pen stylus and the S6 edge+ boasting a dual-edge display. The two smartphones follow Samsung’s new design philosophy that combines glass and metal for a beautiful and premium look and feel, and the Note 5 also introduces a new design element that should help in handling. Those curves on the front of the S6 edge+? The Note 5 has similar curves on the back side that make it feel solid in the hand and prevent it from slipping out too easily. The Super AMOLED displays on both devices measure 5.7-inches in size and have a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels, and the processing power is provided by the Exynos 7420 CPU. The Exynos 7420 is clocked at 2.1GHz for the Cortex-A57 cores and 1.5GHz for the Cortex-A53 cores, and users now get 4GB of RAM for their multitasking needs. Imaging is handled by a 16-megapixel rear camera with f1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, a setup that is carried over from the Galaxy S6 lineup. Storage options are 32 and 64GB; a 128GB model is missing, but we’re guessing that’s not a bad thing as 128GB models can be rather costly and aren’t usually manufactured in high quantity. On the connectivity front, you get support for Cat 9/6 LTE (based on region), along with Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and a microUSB 2.0 port. The battery is a 3,000 mAh unit on both phones; yep, it’s worrying that the batteries aren’t too big, but Samsung says that in addition to quick charging through a USB cable, the phones also charge quickly on a wireless charging pad, in 120 minutes to be precise. The dimensions of the Note 5 come in at 153.2×6.1×7.6 mm with a weight of 171 grams, while the Edge+ is 154.4×75.8×9.153 mm and weights 153 grams. Finally , the galaxy note 5 and the s6 edge+ will cost $839.99 for the 32GB model and $914.99 for the 64GB model respectively. Between friends, family and work, we send dozens of messages a day. But there’s an easier way to do that than using your thumbs on tiny keyboards. Starting today, you can send messages using some of your favorite messaging apps on your Android by simply talking to Google, just like you can already do to send quick emails, Hangouts or text messages. Just say, “Ok Google, send a WhatsApp message to Joe” or whoever it is you want to reply , after which you’ll get a prompt asking you to dictate your message. Or, you can do it all in one step: “Ok Google, send a Viber message to Josh: let’s do dinner tomorrow night.” In addition to WhatsApp and Viber, you can send voice messages via WeChat, Telegram and NextPlus (just make sure you have the latest version of both the messaging and the Google app). You’ll be able to do this in English initially (not only in the US though!) and we’ll be working to add more apps and languages in the future. source: http://insidesearch..de/2015/07/rest-your-thumbs-ask-google-to-send.html
