Why there may be less jobs for those in Diaspora, less Nigerian migration to UK and less money remittances home
The service sector dominates the UK economy, contributing around 78% of GDP; the financial services industry is particularly important and London is the world's largest financial centre. If companies want a European Base they normally put a London base as their first choice. Between 2004 and 2014, £581bn was invested into the UK by foreign businesses. More than half of this total came from outside the EU, with the UK’s access to the single market being a prime motivator.

However, leaving EU may mean having a UK based has no access to the single market and trading with Europe attracts more taxes making it more expensive so they may shift their offices like JPMorgan has intimated.

The automotive industry is also a major employer and exporter. They have public stated leaving EU would be bad for business, so you know that may lead to them moving to Germany and job losses in UK. The British economy is boosted by North Sea oil and gas production; its reserves were valued at an estimated £120 billion in 2011. All of Scotland voted remain so there may be a new Referendum with Scotland wishing to leave UK. This will reduce money coming to England. Most of England voted leave with only London voting to remain. Those areas that voted leave are areas that are quite honestly filled with a higher number of racist and/or Brits (who don't often have the education to back their arrogance but continually revert back to "the good old colonial days". The vote to leave campaign was largely based on people not wanting immigration. So now that the PM has stepped down. Another issue is who will be the next PM. Boris Johnson does not look stable. Michael Gove may be a better choice for conservatives but he needs sound economic policies. If after conservative party tenure finishes the Brits vote Nigel Farage, who alongside Boris spearheaded the Brexit immigrants of all races will suffer. As whatever he has said, fundamentally, he is a racist, supported by rascists. Including the BNP, a party who believe anyone not white (even if British), should be packed into ships and thrown out of UK.

How it could favour us
Right now things look bleak as the Gbp has already crashed in line with my statements above. But this could end up being a good thing under the right leadership with the right civilians also. It could in the long term be favourable. If people foster a manufacturing based economy and the pound remains low. It may mean more exports (especially outside EU) as our goods will become more affordable. This may mean more jobs for the right skills etc (engineers, computer scientists, scientists especially pharmaceutical). But it won't happen overnight.

The truth as I said is this all boils down to leadership. Brexit has happened. What Nigerians need to think of is now the next election. Who is best served to strengthen the economy? Who has our Nigerian interests at heart (diaspora and at home)? Don't just listen to campaign promises I urge you. These politicians all lie to get what they want. Who actually would given their acquaintances, background, success in their own work and actually having a written manifesto be best placed for the task cum opportunity ahead?

In a normal society, it should take like 5min for emergency system to respond to this issue and being a police officer, it may even take less time! But in Nigeria, that officer may just die while lying on the ground, there is no emergency to call and ordinary citizen will be so afraid to render help (people will think along the line of "what if I help and hin con die?".

GOD help if you attempt to help and he dies in the process....his colleagues will tell you to get police report while you're locked up with hardened criminal and you will have to bribe heavily for them to release you,if not they will charge you for murder....so much for Naija police...make they try front....i no want police problem...abeg.

I have a female cousin that we bear the same Surname. In fact my Dad was the one following her Dad ( Same Father same Mother).

Am married for over three years with 2 Wonderful Children but I and my Wife are not living together. She works in different State while I work in different State too.
I have a Sister which is a cousin to me. Since am the only one living in my flat and my wife is not living with me. She decided to come and join me while she's looking for a job.
Am facing this problem since she came. She always sleeps naked virtually everyday. I have called her several times and told her that she will not live with me forever and as such adjust her way of sleeping. That sleeping naked is dangerous to her health and welfare.

The last one she did yesterday was for her not to wear anything at all. Though that is what she does most at times and she will come to sitting room and open her legs for me to see.

She lives in a room while I live in the other room but share same sitting room and toilet. We don't close our room doors for once. We don't lock bathroom while bathing.


Yesterday was terrible to the extent that I woke her up in her state of unclothedness and sit her down that mid night. That her act and action is tempting and inviting. That she shouldn't because we are family and kill me inside with unclothedness. I really talked to her. This nigh she dress better but still put on only pant. She told she used to it from home and my wife is not staying with me. only two of us in the flat and I don't want to attempt evil act. What do I do

has said the president sold his property to
access foreign exchange (forex) for his child's
education.
According to The Cable report, Adesina, who
could not confirm if the president got forex
from official sources or the parallel market,
said one would have to ask the president
himself.
The Cable quoted Adesina speaking in an
interview with Osasu Igbinedion, on The Osasu
Show, as saying that the Central Bank of Nigeria
(CBN) was experiencing paucity of forex.
Corroborating Adesina's stance, the president
himself had earlier said in an interview with Al
Jazeera that it would, henceforth, be "tough
luck" for those who are (or wish to school
abroad) to access forex.
"Those who can afford foreign education for
their children can go ahead, but Nigeria cannot
afford to allocate foreign exchange to those who
decided to train their children outside the
country," he said in March.
Asked if the president could afford the
education of his children abroad, Adesina said:
"You will need to ask him.
"Don't forget it was in the public domain even
before he became president that when one of
his children needed to go abroad, he had to sell
his property; maybe it was his house in Lagos
or somewhere."
"Anybody who wants to train a child abroad
must be sure that he or she can afford it. If you
can afford it, no problem.
"At a time like this, when there is paucity of
foreign exchange, what the president is simply
saying is that the CBN may not be able to
provide forex, but you can always buy your
forex at the parallel market if that is what you
want," Adesina said.
Though the CBN had not officially banned the
access to forex for education and medical bills,
the president had said explicitly that the
country could not afford it.
