Try as much as possible to compose a formal letter informing the local government of the demise of your Dad.

Atttach to the letter a copy of the appointment letter of your dad and his death certificate.

Go ahead and submit it to the chairman's office amd make sure you get an acknowledgement of what you submitted.

Then make a photocopy Copy of the acknowledgement copy and use that to follow up with the chairman amd even the incoming chairman.

Lastly,you should go to the LGA to find out if there's normally any package for situations like you have got in your hands.

Do it yourself and be fast about it.

E.g...the letter.

We the children of Mr.....regret to inform the local government of the passing away or the untimely demise of our father Mr.... who was an active appointee of the local government before is death......
The need is to inform LGA of his funeral arrangements so.as to render the largely needed the assistance of the local government give to appointee and other benefits.

Section 299 of the 1999 Constitution expressly provides that:

"The provisions of this Constitution shall apply to FCT,Abuja as if it were one of the states in Federation of Nigeria...."

Abuja is not above any state in Nigeria,it only got its privilege of being considered as the 37th state because of development and political reasons.

Going further section 132(4) provided that:
"For the purpose of an election to the office of the President,the whole of the Federation shall be regarded as one constituency"

As such Abuja has no special or contingency position in determining the outcome of the Presidential General election.

I want to quit my ₦80,000 job and start up a business. The business I have in mind is keke spare parts business.

I would have loved to set up the business as a side business but my location is the problem. I work in one of the Northern states and I don't want to base in that state. I am unmarried and wouldn't want to start up my family here. I wish to marry before the end of the year.

My budget for the business is ₦2m.

So my question is: "is the business profitable?", am I taking the right decision?.

Please I need advice.
NB: I didn't save the money from salary and there is no more money where that one came from in case you want to advise me to make more money where that one came from, lol.
