All that was during military rule. In a military rule the most senior army officer call the shot but this is a democracy

Tinubu and SW invested heavily to install Buhari with the hope of reaping 2023 presidency but the agitations from the SE has altered that plan. The north won't want such agitation to continue especially when they are not the region in power. They know if agitations continue it may lead to major restructuring which may not favour their region. So they will rather give to SE to douse tension.

If OUK becomes president, then he has IPOB and Nnamdi KANU to thank because their agitation would have been the instrument that made it possible.

If Buhari led APC govt hands over to any other region aside SE, the agitations in that region will continue and even get messier. So it will be in the interest of the north to douse all tension by supporting SE for president.

This type of news will naturally upset some people from a particular region. The north will definitely play stabilization politics for 2023 so they will prefer a candidate from SE they can trust because Buhari govt really upset the delicate balance of the country by his highhandedness, nepotism and political inequalities. This was evident in the several secession agitations from different regions.

He started on low key but started gathering momentum, now they are scared and want to cut him to size. Tinubu always doesn't like operating on a level field because he knows he won't win so he uses every fowl way to secure victory

...and when he wanted to be vice to Buhari, he was prevented by powers beyond his control. They tactically rejected him and told him to suggest someone else which brought Osibanjo. Even the osibanjo has been reduced to mere commissioner of condolence visit and presider of FEC when Buhari is away

Bros, do you think if it was clear that the northern cabals were backing Tinubu he will be running upandan like this? It would have been people who want to benefit from him that will be coming to visit him. Tinubu tried all he could to get the support of Buhari but its now very glaring to him that there is no way there. I have a friend who is a big player in APC, he confirmed to me that Buhari is not on the side of Tinubu.

I know your line of thinking and your orientations. If you were matured in 1998 and early 1999, you would have said Obj went to beg Alex Ekwueme by visiting him . He tried using national assembly to push for direct primaries but he has been informed by the cabals that they prefer Igbos to take over from Buhari.
