PoliticsRe: Bode George: PDP Must Conduct Fresh Convention If North Picks 2023 Ticket by aviara: 6:34am On Nov 15, 2021
If Ayu steps down, the deputy chairman south takes over. All that us required is for the NEC/NWC to ratify him as the substantive or acting chairman of the party. I believe with this the issue of illegality would have been settled.

PDP....power to the people
APC...lying to the people
PoliticsRe: Rivers APC: Abe’s Camp Inaugurates Tinubu Support Group by aviara: 6:24am On Nov 15, 2021
Age is factor as it presently stands now. Buhari wasted a good part of his tenure due to sickness caused by old age. He was practically away in London hospital while the country slipped into recession.

Tinubu is old, ill, corrupt and trbalised. When you talk about SWAGA (south west agenda) doesn't that sound trbaliistic? A nationalist talks about "the Nigeria agenda" Buhari was known for the "Fulani agenda" and we have seen how divided the country has become.

Meanwhile Magnus Abe is only trying to be relevant in Rivers state APC that is presently having several factions

To many children on Nairaland. All they do is to comment rubbish. They failed to read and understand before commenting. There is no where written in the article we are borrowing, he is attracting investment worth 40 billion.
That is an income not a debt silly brainless idiots every corner of Nairaland.
Don't blame the children. This is to show you that his govt is widely known for senseless borrowings. Attracting foreign investors has been an unpopular term with this govt. It also shows you Nigerians are highly disappointed with all the debts this govt has incurred as there are little or nothing to show for all the money borrowed so far.
PoliticsRe: Buhari In Durban, South Africa, To Seek $40 Billion Investments by aviara: 6:03am On Nov 15, 2021
Our president is just waking up to attract foreign investors into the country. After realising that foreign institutions and investors are not willing to give him more loan facilities. However, how many investors will be willing to invest in Nigeria with the high level of insecurity across the country as well as political/economic instability?

Starboy all the way
Starboy whose only economic strategy is sharing 10k tradermoni, thinking that is what 21st century requires. Under him as the head of the economic team, our economy has gone from recession to hyper inflation, naira devaluation, high unemployment rate, high dollar rate, massive foreign debt profile, loss of foreign direct investment, increase tax regime and high poverty rate. I don't think he is a starboy, he is a dull boy.

PoliticsRe: Osinbajo: Nigeria Needs Responsible Political, Religious Leaders by aviara: 1:43pm On Nov 13, 2021
The minister of finance stated recently that this govt has given out about N54b as conditional cash transfer within the past two months. We borrow from abroad to fund our budget and distribute the borrowed money on the streets. I am sure a bulk of the disbursed
conditional cash transfer goes to nameless and faceless people. Just another word for looting. Of course no responsible govt does things like this.
PoliticsRe: Osinbajo: Nigeria Needs Responsible Political, Religious Leaders by aviara: 1:32pm On Nov 13, 2021
Once anyone is voted into public office he becomes a politician before anything else. Politicians prefer to reason or act politically than rationally or sensibly.

The most we have heard from Osibanjo in the past 6 years is during condolence visit after onslaught of killer herdsmen. Recently Osibanjo has been very vocal giving messages of hope even when actually his govt has brought untowards hardship and suffering on Nigerians. His messages of hope are nothing but political statement to rev up sentiment as a good leader all directed towards his secret ambition of securing APC Presidential ticket for 2023

This useless govt who protested against removal of fuel subsidy during the last regime continued paying subsidy since 2015 till date. They are promising to remove few months to the expiration of their tenure. They are promising to pay Nigerians transport allowance to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal. Is this the best Osibanjo can give Nigerians as the head of the economic team? What a shame!
PoliticsRe: 2023 Presidency: Osinbajo Group Emerges In Abuja, Lagos by aviara: 10:53pm On Nov 12, 2021
One of the devilish policies I hate seeing Osinbajo talk about is this is conditional money transfer. Sharing money (10k) to people is not what we need as a country. Create jobs, formulate sound economic policies that can stimulate the economy and prosperity will naturally flow. Sharing 10k will become useless when you can't control inflation, create employment and attract foreign direct investments. I make bold to say that the economics Osibanjo studied is old school and does not fit into our present realities. That out economy keeps getting worse since he assumed the head of the economic team is enough proof that he lacks the modern technical know-how to manage a 21st century economy.

How did GEJ marginalized SW? Is it that he didn't appoint any SW as minister or none was in his cabinet? Did GeJ executed more projects in SE or SS than SW? One of the notable minister in GEJ cabinet was Adeshina Adewunmi who was the minister of Agriculture, so was the minister of finance Mr Aganga, so was the minister of sports from Kwara, the list continues. GEJ executed several road projects in the entire SW. So how exactly did GEJ marginalise SW?

Currently, Osinbajo is the only reason I may vote APC at the presidential level.

PS: This is not the first group supporting Osinbajo, they're only adding to.the numbers we have already.
Osinbajo groups are everywhere, including Ekiti where Fayemi is also nursing an ambition.
Osinbajo has fully expanded his tentacles in the South West and some other parts of Nigeria (to say the least).
How good and competent is Osinbajo? Being a good man doesn't necessarily translate into being a good president. Osinbajo headed the economic team of this present govt, and within 6 years he has successfully destroyed our economy with his poor economic policies. Soaring prices of goods and services, increasing national debt profile, increased taxation, devaluation of the naira, increasing dollar rate etc. Osibanjo and Buhari are partners in failure.

You govt keeps borrowing bogus loans running into trillions which you squander on crude oil discovery in the north when you fully know crude oil is gradually been phased out globally

You claim to be diversifying the economy from crude oil but your govt still spends billions of dollars in search for crude oil in Chad basin and other places.

If APGA can pay 5k & APC 4k. What is direct primaries. PDP started with same as APC so what is new? The issue ain't party primaries but the role of INEC and her workers at collation. Trust Nigerians, one person will join four parties because money must change hands. Direct primaries will solve nothing, am not deceived by the antics of the ruling elites. Uba got hundreds of thousands of votes at direct primaries but lost the election. Uba didn't do well not because APC is not loved by d people but because there was no primary. He was imposed on the people.
Very correct sir

Not like that but we can not politisise everything .my interest is about how political candidacy will not be moneybags any more which can give Youth an opportunities to become political candidacy without taking too much loan in the bank for unreliable party candidacy bids.
I get your point bro. I am not against direct primary if a political party decides to go that way as their best option. I feel direct primaries is better at ward level, local govt level and senatorial level. It may not always be feasible for presidential candidacy especially in a situation where the party has millions of members. In most cases the process will become violent. The candidate with the most thugs and deep pocket to bribe the election officials will emerge winner. We saw this in Lagos state between Ambode and Sanwo olu.

I think the political parties have registers of their members. Why don’t they want their members to participate in the choice of who fly their party flags.? Rogue and fake politicians.
I am disappointed in Gov Fayemi , a learned man, who joined the others to scuttle what well meaning Nigerians support. All the Governors who are against direct primaries are against the people, because they want to be political God-fathers as well. From USA where you copied Presidential system from, is it not direct primary they do there.
Evil spirit politicians.
Party register of some political party have been compromised. So in such situation direct primaries may not reflect the wishes of the members. Both direct, indirect and consensus has worked fine in the past. I expected the national assembly to pass law to promotes transparency and integrity of the process and not limiting the option to direct primaries only.
PoliticsRe: Why I Pushed For Direct Primaries ― Gbajabiamila by aviara: 7:01pm On Nov 11, 2021
How do you explainthe direct primaries that produced Andy Ubah the gubernatorial candidate of APC giving him over 200k votes but he couldn't get up to 60k votes in the general election?

As much as direct primaries is good it is not enough to pass a law making it the only option. I believe those pushing for it are doing so to protect their vested interest.

PoliticsRe: Why I Pushed For Direct Primaries ― Gbajabiamila by aviara: 6:47pm On Nov 11, 2021
Direct Primaries can be rigged just like every election and as such is not a guarantee for transparency credibility and democracy. The law should have focused on legitimacy, transparency and integrity of the process and not limiting the options to one only.

Different parties could have peculiar scenarios where direct primaries may not be feasible. So what happens in such situation.
PoliticsRe: Why I Pushed For Direct Primaries ― Gbajabiamila by aviara: 6:41pm On Nov 11, 2021
We know the reason you pushed for direct primaries because you feel it gives Tinubu good chance to win APC presidential ticket. Be rest assured Buhari won't sign such into law.
PoliticsRe: APC Convention: Why Governors Won’t Determine Who Becomes National Chairman by aviara: 10:59am On Nov 11, 2021
Buhari is the leader of APC and has the final say on key decisions. Tinubu is only an interested non party official who has relatively no say in what happens in the party as far as Buhari and his cabals are concerned. For instance, it was against Tinubu's wish when Oshiomole was booted out. Similarly it was against Tinubu's wish a caretaker committee was formed to run the affairs of the party.

The delay in holding APC convention is deliberate by the cabals to favour their interest. Governors of APC have a way of influencing Buhari's decision and I see that happening on who becomes the party chairman.
FamilyRe: Jealous Wife Thinks Her Husband's Regional Manager Is His Side Chick (Video) by aviara: 10:41am On Nov 11, 2021
Tunde must have been cheating on his wife or may have shown signs of cheating. In marriage or any relationship you must be careful not to make your partner lose trust in your integrity.

Not picking your partner's call is not a big deal after all, but once your partner can establish that you once did so because you were flirting or cheating. Suspicion becomes the conclusion anytime you ignore his/her call.

Trust is everything In marriage and any relationship. Never trade it for anything except the relationship doesn't mean anything to you.

I hope the court will do a proper cross examination of this case to unravel the source and legality for which the money was disbursed. I believe that both the scammer and the victim may have a case to answer.

How can a man scam a party by impersonating their gubernatorial candidate? APC must be tried for possible electoral offences in the case.
PoliticsRe: Direct Primaries: APC Await Buhari's Decision As Tripartite Committee Deadlocked by aviara: 8:11am On Nov 10, 2021
What's the rationale of insisting on just a single mode of primaries for all political party? The law should provide alternatives that best suit peculiar situations in various parties. The focus should be on transparency, legitimacy and democratic process that produces the candidates.

I see this as a move to favour a particular candidate of interest in APC as regards to 2023 election. The business of law making process shouldn't be all about politics and APC
