I know of many mothers who did partial circumcision for their female children. I think the old traditional and unprofessional way of doing female circumcision was what made the practice looks terrible. The use of the word "mutilation" was intentionally used to make the practice look so bad.

Yes, I prefer a different candidate, but if you doubt Tinubu's capabilities to carry the trophy, then it means you truly do not understand how things go in Nigeria and the true owners of Nigeria. If I were you I would be very careful with my words...as the Jagaban of Lagos may just end up surprising many people like you.

Furthermore, Just keep in mind that Tinubu is not from Onisha or Imo, he's from Lagos...and he still remains the main reason why Igbo people flood Lagos like there is no tomorrow. The man is known to make big things happen.

Lagos has always been a cosmopolitan city long before the colonist came. There are many Igbo's in Kano whose parents moved up north for business reasons and they have lived all their lives there. So it's not true Tinubu did anything g special that made Lagos attractive to non indigenes. Cost of living is very high in Lagos but many industries are located here.

Tinubu has not groomed anybody in the real sense, he has only used people to gain ground in Lagos politics and once he notice your popularity is becoming very big, he cuts you to size or cuts you away. He doesn't believe in anybody taking over from him. This is why he worked against Ambode's second term ambition. According to him, he said:"Ambode an elected sitting executive governor was deviating from the master plan" Meaning he Tinubu is the master and an elected governor should do his bidding. Yoruba's know how to use the media to promote and market anything to their advantage. For instance Davido is not a very good singer, infact I think he is less than an average singer but he has maintained his relevance and popularity through good image making, branding and marketing promotion. So I think Reno missed the point else all the Grammy award winners in Africa must have sang in Yoruba language.

The views of Reno are not entirely wrong but partly ethnocentric and biased to manipulate the ego of the Yoruba people to achieve a hidden goal personally known to him. There are many more Yoruba singers in Nigeria whose music is not making wave even in Nigeria talkless of being accepted and celebrated globally. Music is a universal language and good music is not difficult to appreciate irrespective of the language in which it was sang. So the key point is learning the secrets to producing world class music, infusing it with local culture and more importantly having good promoters to push the music globally. I think the Yoruba's have mastered the art of marketing, networking and promoting their brands. So its about producing good music and how marketing the brand and not necessarily the language.

Had it been Buhari presidency was a huge success all this sycophants would have ascribed all the praise and success to Tinubu
