Yoruba Lagosians won't blink an eye because it gives them joy when one of them become so big and influential through these fraudulent practice. They believe with his influence the spoils of corruption will flow to them as well.

Tinubu thinks attracting investors means making an industry lucrative by making things expensive so investors can be making bogus profit at the expense of the citizens.

The same way he made "agbero" lucrative in Lagos through extortion such that the average agbero at the bus stop earns more than an average employed graduate.
