Bros the problem is not about where we are presently but where we would be in either case.

In UCL knockout stages, a slight dip in form, a small loss of concentration or a single players moment of craziness can send us crashing out in a single game. And in La liga. Yeah, I agree we are still in the race. However, we are at a disadvantage. We have played all our 19 games yet we are 3rd now. When the Madrid clubs plays their outstanding, the gap to catch up increases. All these leaves a sour taste in the mouth knowing that we squandered a lot of points to small clubs recently.

To me, David Jonathan is good as a striker but Victor Gyokeres is far better.

Victor embodies everything you need in a 9. Goal sense, close football control, bullies defenders and scores from any angle. David is just a more direct Adama Traore kind of player.

A team with Gyokeres, Olmo, Raphinha, Yamal and Fermin on field can blow any team away with goals.

However, Gyokeres may want to follow his coach (Amorim) to Man. Utd.

We're definitely operating at a very high level right now, having beaten top teams in Europe. They don't come any bigger than Bayern and Madrid.

However, if you watch our play very well, you'd see it requires alot more intensity and focus. We constantly out run our opponents by up to 6km. That's alot.

How long can the team be able to maintain such high intensity? It's a very long season. Tiredness will set in at some point. I just hope we have enough plan B for such a time. Enough squad coverage for the gala first eleven.

Because if we do not have any plan B, and it is at business end of the season, it won't be funny o. Lots of rival fans are waiting patiently for such a time. They didn't expect us to so good at such short time.

More reason why we need to use this energy to garner enough points to enlarge the points gap between us and the rest.

Stay at the top and far away in points from the second on the table, so when the inevitable tiredness sets in, we'll still be able to get by even playing 3 draw soup games in between.

Secondly, let's pray that injury does not do us shege again. If we go injury free towards the tail end of the season rotation will help us get through even if not as potent as the first eleven.

Thirdly, after garnering enough points to keep others at arms length, Hansi Flick can change the tactics from a highline to a more balanced one, which conserves more energy.

Let's hope he has a plan B like you said.
