WriterNig:Yet Nigeria is rushing more towards the exploitative Dollar at the detriment of its local currency. |
Good one for now. Once she gets married to a yahoo boy. She'll be like "Wetin he do for me sef wey e dey shout for my head". |
andrewbaba44:Does Barca have a backup for Balde? Or are we sticking with Alonslow? |
No need of proof. No need of any evidence. No need of any investigation. Once a woman accuse you of sexual harassment. You are done for. |
Forget story. The babe may actually be the side-chick of the Minister himself. The Minister has decided to treat the Bleep-up of his rival. Women ? Believe them at your own peril Watch out. Soon the babe will be promoted and deployed to take his position. However, that man own don spoil. His career destroyed, His records destroyed and His family destroyed. |
Separate him from the wife for interrogation. She may be the root-cause of his suicide attempt especially if she be naija girl. (Could be DNA issues). |
Scam. |
Jokerman:So? Ofcourse he has a right to his choices. As far as Barca as a club is concerned, we bid him farewell and the best of luck. He is our past. We are already looking at the future. Moreover , you are not a fan of either Guardiola or Barca. Why are you using panadol for other people's headache? |
OhBritannia:Is Felix that valuable.? 60m ? We no want. That guy shouldn't be more than 35m - 45m. Make e dey go abeg. If we have 60m, let's go for Nico Williams jejely. |
Jodera:During Messi/Ronaldo era, Vinicius, Bellingham etc would be seen at distant 6th and 7th positions. Before we can see any other player winning 4 or more Balon d'ors like those two. E go far... |
Giving him one more year is not really our problem, neither are Nigerians impatient people. But the problem is that we had done that several times in the past which didn't work out for the people. President Jonathan told us to be patient that he will fix it. What happened? It became BAD. President Buhari came and said "be patriotic and patient, we will fix everything." Yet it went from BAD to WORSE. Now another President (Tinubu) is saying "Be patient, I know things have been very bad and worse, but We will fix it. You will enjoy Nigeria again. You have not suffered in vain. Wait, Be patriotic, give me time to fix everything". We said Okay. But one year after he gave all those sweet promises. It became obvious that it is now WORST. One day soon, that our patience will dissappear totally, and all hell will be let loose. ONE DAY. MONKEY GO GO MARKET, HE NO GO COME BACK. |
Kilishihunter:Even if this Nike deal comes true. It does not change the fact that dead woods should not be allowed to stay in the club. Barca still needs to sell off some useless players even if the club's purse is bulging. Even top teams, like Man.City, Madrid and Bayern without any financial problems are still buying new talents to continue growing. We should sell and buy to grow too. |
luvinhubby:I agree that wild jubilation will erupt if military takes over. However , what can the people do if their jubilation turns to sorrow quickly if unfortunately military becomes worse than "this useless civilian government of APC" as you called it. Sometimes , the Devil you know may actually be better than the Angel you wished for. If you were alive and witness Idi Amin of Uganda, you will know that it is not easy to wrestle power out of the hands of an evil military dictator. No freedom of speech, no freedom of movement, no freedom of protest. No freedom of anything. I will prefer this democracy in which we can change whoever is there every four years compared with a dictator who can forcefully stay there till he dies. |
nedu666:Imagine? Option of 150k fine ? This is no punishment at all. Dey will pay easily and go home laughing. This amount is not more than payment for a room for a night in a '5' star hotel. Only worry is the conviction on their names, which could affect them in getting visas if they choose to japa. But can also be solved with enough money. Just buy visa with someone else name from travel agents. Ha Naija. |
Paraman:Completed for where? Naaa. They stopped it a few metres after his (Governor Dapo) house on the outskirts of Iperu. The remaining part that links the Lagos - Ibadan expressway way and Gateway Poly Shapade was abandoned. |
Abeokuta is N4,200. |
jpmoriarti:Like it or not, Xavi was treated badly. Agreed. However, Xavi is gone to his well deserved rest. Bros, Raphinha tried o. Though he is average in reality but his stats says otherwise. |
Don't worry yourself about @JP, he will.come back around to become a staunch supporter of Flick with time. He just happens to be a supporter of the proverb "The Devil you know is better than the Angel you just met". He will come around. Remember, he wasn't in support of the sack of Koeman and appointment of Xavi at the beginning, same is what he is doing with present changes concerning Xavi and Flick. |
Na like dis Kayode Olanrewaju own don destroy finish? After all his hussle, everything is crashing down becauseof a woman. Hope he doesn’t commit suicide soon o. |
mostob:I read the actual contract was for 2 years as against earlier reports of 1 + 1 additional. |
With Xavi out and Flick in. I don't think any player will be sold out until Flick examines and know their strengths and weaknesses individually. However we should expect some incoming. |
I think Players like Gavi, Balde, Fermin and Araujo will quickly adapt to this Flick's high-tempo, high-pressing, exciting football. |
I believe the Hansi Flick's contract of 1 year with an optional additional 1 year is actually good. If he performs he stays on, and if he fails, he goes leaving space for Jurgen Klopp (preferred by Laporta) after his one year holiday from coaching. |
I don't think Flick will cause Stegen much worry. Why? Because he always invites same Stegen to play in the German National team when was their coach. What I expect is that Stegen will sit-up cause he knows Flick will not take Bullsit from any player. |
I remembered @jp called Xavi's change of mind to continue as a trap. It's looking more like it now with this rumour of sack. Though the sack will be a stain on his CV, however he will be paid close to 20m euros by the club for breach of contract, which wouldn't be if he departs on his own volition like he had wanted to do |
andrewbaba44:I like that guy for his mentality. If we can accommodate that guy and gavi, we'll be happy for it. |
Here we go with Fermin and Fort. |
Villareal helping Barca to remain 2nd at the moment. |
Kilishihunter:I don't know how people forget past so soon. Before Garcia went out on loan his defending was very calamitous to say the least, but because his lapses was well covered by his defence partner and the capable DM who took over from Romeu at Girona, everybody is now twerking for him. Before Araujo committed that outrageous mistake against PSG in champe, He was one of our undisputed pillars in that defence. A good coach would not just throw such player away under the bus instead of correcting and improving him. This Araujo sale if true is not logical to me. Not a footballing action but more like an emotional action. Now we want to replace a solid center back with a known calamity. |
With 3 games remaining, please Xavi retain this 2nd position o, for next season's Champions league draw. Abeg. |
andrewbaba44:I just want to add that Barca is owing the guy lots of money. The debt grows every day. Yet he wish to run down his contract and go.for free. If he goes for free, the board should be blamed for all these financial ineptitude. They should sell him off, Barca gained nothing from the outing of Messi and Dembele. It shouldn't repeat itself. |
I took 2 important points from this piece of information. 1. Our import duty is too high, which is the reason importers are fleeing away from our ports and prefer importing through our low-duty Francophone neighbours, which is really helping the smuggling of same goods into Nigeria. (One pounds wise, two pounds foolishness). 2. Too many checkpoints along the border routes. Why does the Government itself encourages corruption by creating loopholes in its own policy. Every year the revenue from Customs to the Government keeps increasing because of the money from bribes at the checkpoints. So they would rather increase the number of checkpoints than remove any. (Because the higher the checkpoints, the higher the returns). So forget it. About CFA to Naira. Sometimes back in the 90s when I visited Cotonou. 200Naira was exchanged to 1280cfa. But now the reverse is the case. Their 200cfa is now almost our 1280Naira. God help us. |
