lol u people are so naive here, this kind of contract signed at a young age qualifies u to their academy, they dont pay you till u reach a certain age like 15 when u can start collecting stipends from the club then officially sign a professional contract at 17 if the club wants to keep u.

FYI Wenger only trains the first team and Iwobi only joined the first team last year or thereabout.

Since I didnt do too well, let me share my findings with those dat havent taken d test, I advice you to put fake email address and name and take d test like 4 times before u use ur real email so dat u can know what questions are, I did it the first time with my real email and got 28% and did it a second abd third time with a fake account and got 67%[/quote]its still going to be difficult for one to memorize the questions within that short time, like i cant even remember the questions i answered.

Saucy Dolph: Abeg I don't know if this is a stupid question oooo lipsrsealed. Can Someone coming to UK carry freezed cooked soup in a bowl and won't have any problem @ the airport?
Why would u do this, just come and cook it in the Uk pls or u cant cook grin
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by awistle(m): 1:04am On Jan 03, 2014
bunburized: Thanks so much. I will really appreciate that document.
My little sister uses her zenith issued mastercard in Hungary and has not had any issue in the last 2yrs.
I will go with cash and also my mastercards and visas.
I have never had a decline case before while shopping online. I don't expect to have any at pos in UK.
Lol @ restuarant in UK. I am just being 'prepared'. I could end up gifting out most of the foodstuffs.
U could stop over at Salford anytime you are in the Manchester area. Won't mind treating you to a sumptuous african dish.
Lol if u end up giving out food stuffs, pls u know where to find me grin wink, but seriously have not had any issue with my card since i arrived.

bunburized: Bro, can you please be specific about the food stuff thing. I seem to be getting different signals as to what I can carry and what I can't. I was thinking of going with grounded crayfish and smoked/dried fish o but someone said it won't be allowed.
Also I was told palm oil won't be allowed.
The reason I asked is that I don't want to carry something I can easily and conveniently get over there in the UK and also I don't want to leave something important.
My dear this is an opportunity for me o. My Dad seem to forget the maintenance money covers my feeding so I need to make full use of this opportunity.
Lol dont think palm oil can be allowed, but cray fish and smoked fish yeah I think so if they are well packed, abt food stuffs don't really know, cos am not the cooking type and I told u the only stuff I brought when i was coming, u may have to check those posts on how uk students survive and get ideas on what kind of food ur can bring.

bunburized: My Dad just requested for the list of items I will need with respect to my trip to the UK so he can "bless" me. I told him after the Xmas.
Please I need the assistance of those who have gone through same process to know exactly what should be included in such a list.
The list should include what I need here in Nigeria before I leave and also what I will need in the UK.
My destination is Manchester/Salford.
Thanks in advance for all your inputs.
Really "A list" Lol u arent going to a boarding skul, most importantly u need money, u may bring a few clothes, food stuffs, toiletries and a winter jacket. that is the basic thing i think, the remaining u ve to get them over here.

bunburized: Thanks. Jobs! Jobs!! Jobs!!! Any advice on that will be super appreciated? Also what areas are a no no during my apartment hunt?
Hospitality jobs are all around, u will just apply and do ur interview via Skype most time and hope u get it, not really seen any bad area around Salford, so it's ur money that determines where u want to stay most times or except a particular apartment is full or booked!

If I elect not to cook at all how much do you suggest I budget weekly for feeding?
Though, I intend cooking my meals 80% of the time I also want to have a fair idea of my expenses as I intend to come 1week before resumption.
Secondly, my visa date started 13th December, 2013. Does that mean I can travel tomorrow if I wish? My resumption date is 20th Jan 2014 but I won't mind travelling to the UK to acclimatize and shop way before resumption if It won't be a issue.
My inlaws are leaving for London 29th Dec,2013 and I won't mind doing a quick pre-resumption tour with them.
Since u are a female, I doubt u eat much so i will suggest lyk 7-8 pounds a day, lol yeah u can even travel from that 14th of Dec and it's better u come earlier to get urself use to this weather and ur shopping cos it's really cold in Manchy and also to sort ur accommodation too.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by awistle(m): 11:02pm On Dec 18, 2013
bunburized: Thanks dear. Do you have any suggestions where I can get a good winter jacket and shoe in Lag? I am having problems thinking of a place I can get them. I am betting on the fact that someone may have given a suggestion here in the past or you got yours in Nigeria before travelling.
Also, I intend using either emirate or qatar airline and they have a baggage allowance of 30kg(small if you ask me). I need to know the very essentials I must bring along(food + other items) so I don't leave the important stuffs behind.
Finally, how much in pounds do you advice I have on me when I travel and how soon can I open a bank account?
My bank assured me my mastercard will work over there but I will love to have a bank account. One shouldn't put all hope on a Nigerian bank promise.
u should be able to get winter jacket and shoes in Mandillas or Yaba, at least get one b4 coming here u can get the others here, lool about food dont really know cos am not the cooking type, i only took about 2 big cartons of indomie with my other big box as KLM was smiling with me that day cos i took a big box and a ghana must go bag full of indomie which i think was over the limit. just hold about 200-300 pounds when coming, mastercard do work here as it helps in emergency especially the first few weeks if u lyk shopping. For opening of bank account over here, after registration u will get a document from school which would take lyk 3 days, so u will be able to open an account within a week or 2 maximum.

bunburized: Ok bro, I will make a hotel reservation for 3 days then.
Hopefully, I will be able to get a suitable accommodation within that period. I am happy to know that I can actually prepare my own meals inside. I was beginning to wonder how I was going to get use to their meals.
Is there any wisdom in packing the usual african food stuffs when coming or I should just get them from the african shops you mentioned?
My dear pack as much as u can, but dont bring unnecessary stuffs, check their website on things u can bring along, just make sure they are sealed properly cos the immigration ppl in naija might want to give u unnecessary problem and they also might want u to settle them.
TravelRe: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part2 by awistle(m): 7:15pm On Dec 11, 2013
bunburized: The £304 quoted is actually for a 6 room flat at Castle Irwell. The least accommodation cost for John Lester Court averages around £350.
I have offers for both but still trying to make up my mind.
However, if u suggest I can get a decent private en suite apartment with all utilities inclusive and access to free bus ride as I will be taking lectures at the MediacityUk then by all means I will rather wait till I get to Salford.
Please what should be my average budget for feeding and other expenses weekly? As someone who is already settled there you may have an informed idea how much a fairly average spender like me should be budgeting for a week.
Finally, the job situation. Is there hope for part time job? Though not compulsory for me but a little extra change won't hurt. Although my course involves the option of a 6 months work placement or 3 months internship in an organisation I still don't knw if it will be a paid work placement since it is geared towards completing my masters degree.
If u have someone u can stay with for a few days when u come that would be better, budget depends on each individual, if u are the type that can cook and eat inside, then u should not be spending more than 40 - 60 quid a week on a regular, african shops are in Salford so no wahala about that. Part time jobs should be available, u just need to check the internet and check the international center in the school or ask friends around they will tell u places u can apply.

bunburized: They are offering me a £304 per month accommodation. Can I get a better offer off campus with all utilities inclusive?
John Lester i know u share the toilet and bathroom and the bed is quite small, if u are patient enough, u will see accommodation off campus that have better facilities inclusive of utilities with ur budget, but its ur choice tho. But i personally wont advice John Lester for someone paying that amount.

bunburized: Please I am about making payment for my tuition fee. Is it advisable to provide the finance officer of my school(University of Salford) details of my mastercard so it can be charged?
This seem to be the easiest and cheapest means for paying my school fees.
I am very skeptical about doing this as I have all my funds in my account linked to the mastercard.
Need advise and experiences here.
Lol its risky cant deny that, i do it over here like send my card details to complete transactions of various kind, many ppl do it over here, but have not seen someone do a transaction of a large amount of that kind, IMO if this is ur last resort u can go ahead with it, just make sure the person u are trying to send ur details to is really an officer in the school.
