Abuamam:The presence of Europeans in Somalia was for only a couple of decades, and that the was spent fighting them, so they never really had an opportunity to govern Somalis, as we had the longest colonial war with europeans in Africa, to the point that we were the first African City (tale) to be bombed by planes. Somali culture is very intolerant of outsiders, thus the reason why our national language is Somali, and we still have our customs and culture, despite being in the horn of Africa, a very strategic locations, and we have been trading with foreigners for thousands of years. We still speak our own language and have our customs and culture. As for the divide and conquer, thats impossible in Somalia for outsiders to do, as we are all ethnically Somali and look the same, have the same religion, language. each clan controls their own land, clans make up the Somali ethnicity. |
Somalis only have one Tribe. We are All Somali, but we have many clans. Clans make up a tribe. Since we are one tribe as Somalis, we don't really use the word tribe but rather just the word Somali. |
1stola:Sorry you are a Negroid, you cannot get a Somali woman. Silly Bantu ![]() |
KenyanLady:Somalis are not Caucasian, we in the horn ( Somalis, Ethios, Erits) are older than caucasians. |
GERALD710:Bantus are not from Somalia, if you knew history you would know they were brought to Somalia several hundred years ago. While it is recorded in history that Arabs had huge hubs of slave trade in Kenya enslaving Bantus. So much so their are remnants of people who are the children of Arab men who raped Bantu women on the coasts. Do you even read history. The entire history of Kenya is just Bantus being enslaved by Arabs, then the Portuguese coming in to enslave you guys, and then the Somalis helping the Arabs fight the Portuguese so they can have their Bantu slaves back, and of course Arabs and somalis enslaving Bantus and brining them to Somalia to be resold to the middle east. |
BlackKenichi:1. For the last couple of thousand of years, the people in Kenya were slaves to Somalis/Arabs/Ethiopians/Portugese 2. Ethiopians are Cushitic as they are related to us (those who are Amahara, Tigrey, Oromo, Afar), but linguistically they speak a semiotic language. The language classification was only done in the last one hundred years, but the people in the region are all related, thus why we have similar culture, appearance, and history and shared land. |
BlackKenichi:Do you even know the reason why the swahili language exists is because of the enslavement of your people by arabs, so much so and for so long that their language bled into yours. It wasn't through trade but simply enslavement. And Somalis originated in the highlands of Ethiopia, and over 2,000 years ago when Axum was existing, there were a couple of tens thousands of Cushitic people and did not identify as Somali, Amahara, Tigrey Oromo etc. Thus the reason why our language are in the same language family and we look the same. Somalis didn't even control Northern Kenya until a few hundred years ago, you make it sound like Somalis have lived in modern Somalia since way back since the days of Axum and Kush, forgetting that the entire horn had a few tens of thousand people as compared to the 100 Million people who live in Somalia,Ethiopia, Eritrea, and Djibouti today. |
GERALD710:lol, you ruled a part of Somala. Lmao, you mean the part of northern kenya now which was taken over by somalis a few hundred years ago. Taking your own land back does not mean you ruled us. dip shiddddd Bantus in Kenya were ruled by Arabs. its only when Arabs declined in power that Somalis started to take over northern Kenya. Somalis are all over the horn, in Somalia, northern kenya, half of Ethiopia, Djibouti. and you bantus have no history other than being slaves to Somalis, Arabs, Ethiopians. |
GERALD710:So you have finally admitted you are a Kenyan Negroid. All this time you were trying to pretend you were Somali. You need to troll better. I could easily tell that u were not Somali by your lack of Somali culture and knowledge of Somali history. |
EnlightenedSoul:Be the moos to my barris |
I will leave you Bantus to do your Bantu things while I am gone. ![]() |
iconize:not really, but I can tell when someone hangs onto one thing long enough for it to be perceived as an obsession. |
iconize:lol, you seem to be obsessed with our women. We have achieved great history and have a beautiful culture. |
iconize:It was the biggest in the region. many places didn't built boats like in americas. This is the longest surviving ship, meaning it was built with quality and great engineering by my forefathers. |
JiggamanGh:I am sure Kenyanlady is not worshipping me. If she were, I wouldn't blame her. I would simply direct her to worship Allah. |
iconize:Whats your obsession with noses. I only show beautiful women. |
JiggamanGh:And their is nothing wrong with that. ![]() |
JiggamanGh:Hey I don't make the rules okay. Infact I don't want 72 Virgins. I only want E-soul, but who knows if she's a virgin. ![]() |
The beden, also known as the beden-seyed, is an ancient Somali maritime vessel that remains the longest surviving sewn boat in the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Its shipyards predominantly lie in the northeastern Hafun region of Somalia (notably Bayla), as well as Muscat. The boat's modern usage is chiefly for fishing. An average beden ship measures 10m or more and is strengthened with a substantial gunwale, attached by treenails. Fishermen in the Horn also use stone anchors to prevent their boats from being drawn to the shore when fishing. |
iconize:search Beden. Thats a ship SOMALIS used to build. At one time it was the biggest ship in the entire Arabia and Africa. |
JiggamanGh:Nigggggas want that 72 Virgins, don't give them a reason to get them 72 virgins is all am saying. ![]() |
JiggamanGh:Your view of the world is warped. One region governed by Alshabab that refused to get help from other regions to help the people and later turned into starvation does not mean all Somalis are starving. If Somalis could not feed themselves, their wouldn't be 25 million of us controlling such large swath of land. |
iconize:search beden ship. We had our own ships that were unique to Somalis. Maritime history of Somalia refers to the seafaring tradition of the Somali people.[1] It includes various stages of Somali navigational technology, shipbuilding and design, as well as the history of the Somali port cities. It also covers the historical sea routes taken by Somali sailors which sustained the commercial enterprises of the historical Somali kingdoms and empires, in addition to the contemporary maritime culture of Somalia. In antiquity, the ancestors of the Somali people were an important link in the Horn of Africa connecting the region's commerce with the rest of the ancient world. Somali sailors and merchants were the main suppliers of frankincense, myrrh and spices, items which were considered valuable luxuries by the Ancient Egyptians, Phoenicians, Mycenaeans and Babylonians.[2][3] During the classical era, several ancient city-states such as Opone, Mosylon and Malao that competed with the Sabaeans, Parthians and Axumites for the wealthy Indo-Greco-Roman trade also flourished in Somalia.[4] In the Middle Ages, several powerful Somali empires dominated the regional trade including the Ajuran Sultanate, the latter of which maintained profitable maritime contacts with Arabia, India, Venetia,[5] Persia, Egypt, Portugal and as far away as China. This tradition of seaborne trade was maintained in the early modern period by later Somali states such as the Gobroon Dynasty. |
iconize:There was a time, when Somali traders were building the biggest ships. We have the longest coast line in Africa. We are ship builders and sea faring people, only makes sense that you perfect this craft. |
KenyanLady:So why do you like Somalis, I thought Kenyans hated Somalis |
JiggamanGh:Hunger due to mismanagement in one state out of many can be solved, but how will you Bantus solve HIV and Ebola? Because it will require that you no longer eat monkeys or have sexxxxx with them. This will be impossible. |
iconize:Well its a fact, that Somalis because of instability get asylum, unlike Ghanians who are not seeking asylum. Whats boggling is Somalis, only came to the west in the last 20 years, and would never have came, if our country was peaceful. But Bantus run to whites, even though Bantus are in peaceful countries yet are happy to run after the white man who enslaved you. |

For Starters, Somalis want to be Arabs so much, it shows Inferiority complex. For Our Community, We are 50-70% Arab so calling me a Negroid is partially true,I am an African,My Arab ancestors came here loooong before Somalis even left the North Eastern part of the Horn or before Bantus even left the Congo. I am also proud of my African heritage which gave East and parts of Central Africa the lingua Franca spoken by more Africans than any other language.
