I am very sorry for the back and forth. Please understand.

My wife has her own statement which would have about 2 million and be for 6 months.

I have about 500k in an account (not my main account, used to save cash) and like 50k in my salary account now which was in the same region of 50 -100k balance in October and November. I will be able to make it 3 million around March mainly from Salary and other side business. Would that be adequate?

Thanks
Yes, u can still print 6months, there is something called opening and closing balance, it doesn't matter what d opening balance is, the VO wld look out for consistency and closing balance to be sure you can afford the trip with something to fall back on when you return. You may be lucky and they won't even ask to see the statement of account.

Good Luck

For your Information House.......If PTA is an issue now, one of the best alternative is to use FORM A. Most banks(I use GT) use it to pay directly to the hospital and /or doctor at 199 or 200 per dollar. If you know the doctor very well, you can even over pay him or her and tell the person it was an error and request for your refund when you get there.

That's what am going to use for DW this time around . Though for her, she's using the same doctor and hospital she used the last time so it's an advantage using this method.

If you are a first timer, then this method "MAY" be a little difficult since sometimes you don't know which doctor or hospital you are using. Like (Afrobrown) planned to go to El Paso and ended up in Dallas.....It may take up to 3 weeks to process
True Jacksparow
For Elpaso Mamas, they accept pre_paid although some charges is attached if you are asking for a refund.

Congrats to all the new mamas, successful POE and Visa interviews, may God grant favour to everyone.

Owk. Thanks. Will go to part one.
The thread is rich with Info, I have been following up since part 1 and I ain't even preggo yet (I have a 5yrs old though), I also work 13hrs a day and sometimes weekends, what I did was to book mark the page and read up at my spare time, mostly during lunch hour and on d drive home. U can either have a jotter or munch info as you get to them. You can make a list of your likely questions say... visa, doc, poe, pead, cities, baby documentations etc, use the search button make sure u narrow down by selecting travel section. You can also search names like Phema, firstymum, modath, nef, ozcy, olokings, tvegas, favouredgirl, nogen the list is endless Infact almost all the gurus have at one point or the other made useful contributions. When you ask questions after that, it will be precise and on point.
Goodluck

[quote author=firsttymum post=40502423]na to comot from carton. Anyway I came without load like that. And my hubby came with two boxes and his things basically entered his hand luggage (box) then baby is entitled to 1 box....

Use duffel bags for the diaper in place of boxes. They weigh less, Just buy padlocks to keep your stuff safe.

pls how long does he need to wear size 1? Before I over buy
Depends on how orobo he is, don't over buy, check how many he uses per day now, multiply by 3months. For each size, huggies is bigger in sizes than Pampers #myownestimate#, you can always buy online and air freight to Naija.

he's doing great darling

3.55/pound... Won't I just pay for extra box and what I want inside cos it's almost same price
You may have to if the Items are a lot, u can Insist that you do not want any special boxes (we quarrel about that everytime) cheesy They have big boxes that are free of charge but subject to availability, the box is abt 10 dolls but big enof to take about 70pds worth of Items. Just say it upfront that you do not need any special boxes so that they won't charge you on boxes for each package u may end up paying for just 1 (worst case scenario)
Tell them to consolidate your stuff and remove any extra packing, nylons and paper to reduce the weight (oyinbos can package one pair of shoe into a big boxes that weighs 5pds cheesy ). Tkia of you

Heya, pele

Pls when you find this shipping company do let me know

Thanks
The shipping company I use for my items from the US is in Maryland, what I do is use the address as my delivery address, they receive items and sort and package them then air freight, I pick up in Lagos office @ oregun, you can send me a PM as am not sure if I am allowed to drop details here, I know they can make arrangement for outside Lagos too,
pick up is usually in 5 working days from when your Items ships. Right now they are doing a promo 3.55\pounds minimum of 50pds but for Lagos office pick up only.

@ Firsty,How is our boy doing?

[quote author=Nogen post=40407290]My pleasure sis. Congratulations dear. As soon as you get there, try and buy all (basic things) that you would need before and just after the babies arrived. After delivery, when you have gotten enough strength and you have people who can help you out with the babies, you can go buy most of the things they will use as they grow. The reason is that you may not be able to shop as much as you would have loved to due to the pregnancy. Movement will become difficult at some point. You can send me a pm so I can give you further tips as I remember them.
Also, if mummy or hubby can make it ealier than that, the better for you. You would need someone beside you most of the time because as you progress, you won't be able to do much anymore. You will become mostly DEPENDENT.

Powerful Nogen, I would love to meet you grin
She can also shop online and have Items delivered (what fun is in that thought grin),

I will be traveling in December but delivering in February. All the missionary journey gurus in the house, pls do you advice that I carry my babies' stuffs (clothes, car seats, etc) from here or should I do my shopping when I get

Congratulations, I will advise you do your shopping over there, u can choose to ship the Items home before your departure so they will be delivered before u get to Naija. Best of luck and wish you safe delivery.

Abeg o. Where can I buy baby cot at competitive pricing in Nigeria? Original plan was to buy from US but that's out of it now
If you are willing and able to go to Balogun market in Lagos, provided you reside in Lagos. ask for the baby stuff section, you will get a good one, bought one 5yrs ago and it is still in good price was 20k, so give or take extra 10 or 15k you should be able to get one. Greetings to Madam and the LO.
