Kemo88: Hi everyone, Please I would like to ask a question which I think is stupid but I've heard it from 3 different people today and I think I should just ask anyway. Is it true that you can get PTA from more than one bank? Yes, as long as your total cumulative for a quarter is not more than $4k. |

babyokujide: Hello mamas+papas,
Any review on Qatar airline...intend flying with them in may. Kindly share experience(s).
Thanks a bunch! I have flown them a couple of times but not as a preggie, great leg room, Top notch in flight entertainments, I don't sleep no matter how long the flight is so I am particular about in-flight entertainments)food and drink boku, when I travelled to d UK in 2014 with my son they gave him a lot of goodies from snacks to toys to lunch bag and even a miniature toy of the plane we boarded (it was a brand new plane). Doha airport is a beautiful airport with lot of window shopping that being said You need to find out about the layover (sometimes it can be loonggg) and policy for preggy and new born though. Best of Luck. |

LadyGuinivere: 1. Nos 1 and 2 . Read back the first page of this thread. 3. That would be dependent on your pocket level and again if you are travelling with hubby to help babysit. 4. Read the thread and get a general idea of which month people travelled. Last last, u weigh ur medical history against the pregnancy travel policy of your flight . 5. Again. Dependent on your research. Some folks got all their docx ready in 2-3 weeks and left back for Naija because they were prepared. Read up on process for documentation . I'll see if I have it somewre and post for u. If not somebody may be kind enough to do so. The more u stay back , the more u pay. So your hardwork will determine. 6. You can stay with family if u want. The most important thing is that u prove u can pay for ALL your treatments. 7. Read the ist page of this thread. There's a list of hospitals/link. Get your phone loaded and start calling. 8. Go to the US embassy website for process on dropbox renewal I had a strong feeling you were going to answer anyway, you just can't help being such a pleasant soul. May all your dreams come true. God bless you sis. |

Apple19: Yes she's breaking out on the face. I stopped using Cetaphil on her face instead I use Eucerine. And I use Coconut oil on her head (original). Her doctor said I should stop using soap (Dove white) on her face too. The rashes just keep re-occuring. I Even stopped Dairies in case it might be die to allergy. Really getting tired She is reacting to all those stuff, I think shld stop applying lotions, moisturiser or ointment, if sebamed has oil u can try that and the body wash in place of bar soap. Till date my 5yrs old does not use bar soap cos he was reacting to it as a baby, I use mothercare oil and body wash and his skin is flawless. Stop fretting she will be fine. Wish you the best. |

LI: I thought I only took a few days off, I came back to see I was 40+ pages behind. See me reading diligently like it was my first attempt at going to the abroad for baby waka. This thread is addictive, Walahi!
How are you @chijiuche? I wish you and your family peace at this time.
Congrats @onlineise. Your experience made a mockery of the anxiety I had for you, I am glad.
@Firsttymum, abi @secondandthirdtymum (I have a theory on people who get in a family way shortly after having a baby). Congrats, assuming it's true. And if not, congrats still
Oakbend jacking up they price will affect them in the long run. If all the Nigerian families take their money elsewhere, I'm sure their bottom line will take a hit.
Please don't put your baby's SSN in somebody else's custody please. It is illegal and you're putting your child at risk.
Congrats to everyone with good news and best wishes to everyone awaiting theirs. I wish my arms were longer so I could hug you all at the same time. Chijiuche: Congrats @Toludo
I keyed into your prayer with a resounding "Amen" as my long awaiting baby in my womb just stopped growing and I am scheduled for evacuation tomorrow. I have cried and questioned God but I have learned to understand that even how the conception became possible in the first place is a miracle. My faith is that God who made it possible for others including your wife will answer us again and this time it will be permanent.
Congrats once more . Great testimonies await you sooner than you think. Take heart and God bless |

tjelta: Hello house, Pls is a hospital allowed to refused to reissue a cheque to a patient if for some reason the service is paid for and not used. I paid for the Maricopa maternity package which i didnt eventually use, they issued me a cheque about three months later( Of course I had left the US by this time) which is to expire in some weeks but I will not be in the US to cash it. So I asked for another cheque ie I asked for the cheque to be reissued or if the money can be paid directly into my account. but they refused saying either I cash the cheque before it expires which is impossible now or I forfeit the cost of the full maternity package. Let not forget that I paid in cash but was issued a cheque 3 months later, knowing fully well I am not based in the US. I am very confused and angry. I need some advise please. Talk to your bank, some allow you to pay a foreign cheque into an account that will be opened for you for that purpose, it takes 25 working days get value all things being equal. Good luck |

firsttymum: I wanna ask something.
After you've bought diapers for ur baby...
And then people come and visit u and bring diaper.. Or clothes
It's not as if one isn't grateful... But there are some clothes u wldnt wanna wear ur child. And there are some diapers u wldnt wanna use on ur child. Even the ones we bought in d US, there are some US brands u wldnt wanna use still.
My mum thinks it's bad to give what was given to u out. Left for me I wanna carry all of them to an orphanage or something.... D diaper is just piling up.
Is anyone in my situation Orphanage is okay, mine said the same , I gave them out to the orphanage too |

firsttymum: I'm shocked at other people's experience Makes me sad sef. Those that experienced it badly with her I'm sorry on her behalf.
I didn't share my experience on this thread. But Dr E tried for me. God used her to save my life
Lemme summarize it Baby passed meconium inside He presented with cord round his neck He had shoulder dystosia My placenta refused to detach When it finally did, it ruptured.
I bled and bled... Was turning white on the table My hubby was praying She and the nurses were.
I'm sure u guys will say only me? Yes o only me... God fought my battle for me. And used that wonderful woman and that sweet sweet nurse
Hmmmm Dr's in d house will understand better But that day Hmmmm lemme just stop there.
I was transfused Hubby said I received 4pints in total
Anywhere I hear Dr E my body just dey sweet me. I will defend her anywhere. This just shows that HIS ways are not our WAYS and doctors are also human. I pray he opens our eyes to see that in everything we shld always give thanks. @Twinsgirls a new song on your lips sooner than you think. Amin |
