FinanceFitness: Extra bag was 150 or 200, excess weight was 75, it worked out to the same rate per pound for both. The challenge is they won't even allow you pay for extra bag once you reach 4 per adult
Another best way to save cost on luggages is to pack your stuff in duffel bags in place of boxes, they weigh next to nothing and allow more items. |

Phema: Ok. Let's talk about this.
Does NL increase the influx of patients to some hospitals? Yes! Is it the sole reason these hospitals get overwhelmed and stop taking international patients? No!
I personally met atleast 3 Naija mamas in MIHS who didn't know anything about NL. Naija mamas in MIHS cannot even be compared to the number of Mexicans and Philipinos in same place. Before vivianobas revealed MIHS, it was well known to other nationals and they even had to jack up their fees from $1,500 to $2,888. Yea, you heard right, 1k5! If vivianobas did not share info about MIHS here, we would not had known and you won't be here talking about missing that package. If she had said "I've info about a cheap hospital in Phoenix, PM for details". We (including agents gan) would have PMed her, gotten info and still bombarded the place.
Then again, if NL was the sole reason for these hospitals to stop taking international patients, Doctoresparati will be the first to stop. That was the very first well known hospital on this thread and the number of Naija mamas that have gone there
I agree with Phema on this, It has to be a WIN WIN situation for everyone. Justwise please strike a balance, some of us are still looking forward to having our Americana. |

[quote author=shanaka29 post=39330769]Very poor management of my situation here oooo . I had an emergency few days ago and had to use a big part of my money. Now i was hoping my last salary would pass before travel day but that's unlikely now. Don't stress yourself, your question is not a Yes or No kinda answer, cos diff sscenerios have been sighted on this forum, convert part of the money in your account to dollars and make sure you have minimum of 4k, just in case you come across an officer at POE who want you to prove your solvency,go along with your statement and your budget sheet which must be calculated in naira and converted to dollars (excel sheet) to show that d balance in ur account is more than enof for ur trip, A lady arrived at Almighty houston with a few dollars in cash but has much more in her account. Best of luck. |

firsttymum: Ozycy and MiddyO... Hmmm there's fake in naija o... My hubby is even saying we need to buy more.. I will advise you don't buy more, observe if your baby won't have a negative reaction to it before further purchase. If he or she is cool with it u can order more but ensure that the expiry dates are far apart. All the best. |

MiddyO: I compared prices, I got them cheaper in Lagos. So maybe u should wait till you get back home. Hello Middy and Ozcy, my opinion is to order sebamed from the US if you can, as we have fake in Naija. You can also order from Amazon.com, and have it delivered to a US address, it can then be sent to you if you are in Naija,it's a bit more expensive but you are sure of not getting the adulterated one. #my opinion# |
