RomanceRe: Should You Ever Say Sorry To A Woman by ayeesha: 1:51pm On Jun 06, 2008

What you DON'T want to do, however, is to keep on
begging a woman for forgiveness.

A lot of men who do apologize to women make the mistake
of apologizing "too much".

The human mind is very interesting. If you "keep on"
saying "sorry" to a woman, she is going to get on a power trip
and keep "pretending" that she's mad at you in order to hear
more - until she actually BELIEVES that she's mad at you.
Sometimes, they will eventually forget WHY they are mad at you,
but STAY MAD at you anyway in order to keep the upper hand.
really huh *ima go try it out then. will come back with my findings* grin

@ krama

like she said, if your spouse abuses you, there is really no point in continuing in that marriage because i doubt if there is any love left at that point. if a man can slap his wife and hit or turn her into a punching bag each time there is an argument between them, then what the heck are they doing together? like someone once said, if your spouse or husband cheats on you or tells you lies everytime, he`ll beg you to simply forgive him but if he beats you up just one time, he`ll never encourage   you to live with such a man because he`ll always hit you, knowing you will always forgive him when he says sorry and what happens when he finally beats you to death?

RomanceRe: "i Will Think About It" The Nigerian Female Syndrome by ayeesha: 4:35pm On May 07, 2008
never ceases to amaze me. had this neighbour who was asked out by a guy in the neighbourhood. as a typical naija babe, she decided to pose a little and told the guy she would think about it. unfortunately for her, the guy was a no nonsense fellow and assumed she was probably not interested. he met another girl who knew what she wanted and promptly agreed. today they are happily married and the other girl that was thinking about it is still lamenting that the other lady snatched the guy from her.
