Romance / Re: Weird Bahaviours Of Some Exes. by ayeesha: 3:03pm On Mar 12, 2008
@ oyb

point of correction, i aint no spoilt chick and do KNOW the value of money.  grin

c`mon ,give me a break. you go to the market and you are told something is five naira. fine, it is normal to haggle a little bit but must you haggle to the point where you get insulted and after "chopping" the insults, they still dnt sell to you? his own case was not about prudency because if it was a supermarket with price tags already attached, he buys without complaining.

@ aisha2

there is nothing wrong with trying to be prudent and also trying to get your money`s worth but must you haggle to the point of insult in the open market and when in a supermarket, buy the same product  at of course, a more expensive rate without complain? i just could not get it.

well, i found it weird irrespective of what you `ll  think.

Romance / Weird Bahaviours Of Some Exes. by ayeesha: 11:34am On Mar 12, 2008
at one point in time or the other, you must have dated some guys/girls who exhibited some funny behaviours that leave you amazed.

for example, i had this ex who had a habit of haggling with traders like a woman. he haggles to the point that some traders refuse to sell to him and call him "alaroro". he also makes sure he collects every change each time he buys things, even if its one naira! i thought that attitude was meant for women only untill i met him. the annoying thing is that the guy is from a wealthy home and also earns a good package so i could not for the life of me understand why he had to haggle so much for everything he wants to buys* except those that come with a price tag attached to them*
share your experiences if you have any.

Literature / Re: What Has Love For Novels Gotten You Into? by ayeesha: 3:43pm On Mar 07, 2008
hmmm, God will help me when it comes to novels. at a point, my father got tired of scolding me over them. i read when eating, in the loo, when cooking and even when watching tv* like when they break up for adverts* i thought i would have reduced my passion for reading novels now that i`m working but for where?, my boss has caught me a couple of times when i was supposed to be working but he has gotten used to it that all he does now is give me the eye and go his way. he says he cannot understand me at all. even my guy,who i`ve gotten addicted to novels sometimes complains, esp when he wants to lipsrsealed and i keep telling him to "pls wait , let me just finish this chapter". during my secondary school days, i hide novels in between my textbooks while classes were going on.
there was this day i had to kneel down for over thirty minutes. we had chemistry class and as usuall, i was lost in the world of m&b. unfortunately for me while talking, the teacher was walking round the class and ended behind my desk! since that day, i stopped reading in class * only chemistry classes sha*

Family / Re: Can A Woman Steal From Her Husband? by ayeesha: 3:12pm On Mar 04, 2008
there is nothing wrong with a wife taking money from her husband`s purse when he`s not there but at the same time, its good for her to let him know she took to avoid certain embarrasments.

a lady i know once had issues with her husband. she saw a girl`s picture and a hotel address and receipt in her husband`s wallet one evening and promptly took offence. instead of confronting him, she decided to vent her anger by empting his wallet *he had over ten thousand naira in it*. unfortunately for the man, he stopped to buy fuel on his way to work the next day *his tank was almost empty*to his greatest embarrassment, his wallet was empty. trust some fuel attendants, they made sure they abused him and of course people gathered to find out what the issue was.

to cut a long story short, he had to take bike to his office which was quite a distance and later send hid driver back with some money to pay for the fuel and collect his car. this could have been avoided if he knew before he left that his wallet had been emptied.

i dint mean you should go to nasfat with the sole aim of looking for a lady.

i simply meant that you might be lucky enough to met someone there, probably after the programme.
