EducationRe: University Of Abuja Ex-Students Protest Over Statement Of Results (Video) by ayeesha: 8:23pm On Oct 20, 2021
zicoraads:
The major problem of Uniabuja is leadership. Since professor Nuhu Yaqub, the school has never seen anyone close to the man's performing levels, not even half.

A very very useless university.
You just hit the nail on the head. Good leadership ended with that man's tenure. We got our statements of result long before camp. Such a shame that students have to protest before getting the results now. Oh well......

Ukwa na another story on im own.
Really? I usually add salt and all other ingredients including palm oil after I've parboiled my beans and it's cooks very fast and very soft as well. Maybe it's cos I parboil and change the water first Sha.

It was during my youth service in Ogun state my PPA rejected me,the PPA was a contractor in larfage cement and he only needed a Mechanical engineer and I studied Computer Engineering. I was so troubled and one Corp member told me to go to elephant house in Ikeja gave me a name and on getting there, i requested for the man like i knew him before and i never knew he has passed my side although i greeted him.The receptionist then told me that it seems i dont know him in person that he just passed my side and then i was allowed to see him in the office and narrated my ordeal to him and he started calling to check if the was any vacant space for in Ewokoro and Sagamu he even told them that I'm his younger brother and I was giving a space in Ewekoro to do my youth service.God bless him wherever he may be.his name is Mr Jolayemi
Mr Jolayemi is a very nice man. Gentle and easy going.

I laugh in Igala.
People are holding smartphones but cannot do a search on things they don’t understand, happily typing nonsense in celebration of their ignorance. I feel sad for Nigerian youths.

I don't know what she saw in that man. Instead of her to focus on her life and kids, she's stalking a man who never did anything for her. I saw her pictures and I was just shaking my head. She looked so stressed , I was shocked.

Had she listened to her parents advise to leave the man she might not be going through the hard life she's leaving now and on top of her suffering , she's still stalking a man who adds no value to her life or children.

Na wa. May God help us .
LOL @ stalking. Hmmm, it's not easy not to want to know how the other party is faring after a breakup or separation ooo, especially where children are involved. That's why I said she needs to Stay away from any social media page of his. This will give her the opportunity to heal and move on.
That's if she truly wants to move on....

May God help us true true....

Is he looking for an Ondo wife on Facebook?? Na wa oo Konji na bastard grin
His post on Facebook says he's looking for a God fearing ondo woman to marry. Why specify ondo? To rub it in that she's not from his place? Why not just any God-fearing woman? Why didn't he get an ondo woman to give him children in the first instance? I guess the ibo woman has served her purpose and outlived her usefulness to him. It's time to go back to his roots. lipsrsealed

For me, that's the height of it. If I were the lady in question, even if I had plans of forgiving him, that
Post of his just squashed it! If he had married her legally or traditionally, would he had made that statement easily? And then in the same breath you claim to love her and can't live without her! That just goes to show how much value or importance he attaches to her.

Well, what do I know? It's upto the lady to decide what she wants to do with her life going forward.

Goodluck to them both.

Thank you very much. I and my family is ready now but she is not accepting me back. With prayers I will at least av access to my kids,
Seems you and your family suddenly decided to be ready now that she has moved on. Why wasn't this decision made earlier? What assurances for commitment did you give her for the 9 years she toiled to create a good home for you and the kids?

A lady that has suffered with a man, especially through terrible times will not just up and leave one day without valid reasons. I'm not saying she's a saint but for a woman who loved a man unconditionally to leave him, she must have gotten to a limit she can no longer cope.

Also if you claim you" love her so much and want her back", what's with all the Facebook posts? Aren't you the same person looking for an "ondo wife" on Facebook?

You claimed to have moved on. Don't be selfish. Allow her to move on as well!

So I bought Bambara nut flour (Okpa) from cutielicious as advertised by FloraEc. smiley
It was well processed, very smooth and easy to mix with hands. My mum was even saying I need to mix it inside a mortar, but just following the instructions for it's prep, with my hands it came out great.
Only people who truly value Okpa will know why I am writing this epistle. I literally force anyone travelling to Enugu to get Okpa for me as what we have here is orisirisi mixed as okpa.
So the joy of making it on my own kiss kiss kiss
Picture 1. Mixing time cheesy
Picture 2. Tasting time tongue
Yummy! I usually buy my seeds and blend myself though. That way, I'm sure of eating 100% okpa, undiluted with corn.
FamilyRe: To Pay School Fees Or Not Please Advise by ayeesha: 1:04pm On Jul 27, 2020
Op...

Online classes are supposed to attract a totally different fee and so should not be called school fees cos the schools are not running E-third term.
Schools that do that are only trying to take advantage of parents by getting them to pay for services not rendered.

They should have had a meeting with parents and agreed on payment plans as regards online classes from the start cos definitely, teachers involved in such classes must get paid. Also, the classes online are usually optional cos not everyone might be interested for different reasons.

The school my kids attend tried to impose the school fees( minus a certain tiny amount as discount grin) but whosai!!!..... Parents stood their ground that Lai Lai!.... Nobody is paying a whole terms school fees for online classes that will last from May-July only. Meanwhile, not all subjects will even be taught oooo. Parents insisted on paying an agreed amount monthly and that was optional as well. The school had no choice than to agree otherwise they loose out cos some parents were already looking online for alternatives.

If you want to charge me for online class, pls call it online class fees and charge me a reasonable amount for it but don't call it online class and then charge me physical term fees!! Everybody is feeling the heat and it's wrong to take advantage of parents just because you want money at all cost.

Let him discuss with the school and negotiate to pay for services rendered and then, discuss the way forward. The school needs to come up with a concrete plan that will benefit both them, the pupils and the parents for the online classes. It should be a win-win for all.

Please this is My Opinion.
