Fanendo Adi is from Lagos. |
I thought somebody will look at the picture critically and asked if the roof and the woods all got burnt down to ashes. I have seen burnt house before, the skeleton of the roof is always left standing. This seems different. Nigerians believe just about anything. |
However, Bafarawa had stated that he received N4.6 billion from Dasuki for “spiritual purposes.” Those were the money doled out to Emirs here and there, Alfas here and there for the purpose of support and prayers for Jonathan to win election. We all saw all the royal walking sticks pointed at Jonathan in Ife, those walking sticks are not cheap, they carry terrestrial powers that control Nigerian landscape...but I wonder why the terrestrial spirits invoked decided not to vote. Had they voted, Jonathan would have won. ![]() |
Is it my eyes, I really don't see any mosque burning here! |
A good look at the lines of the story, one would see a girl that needs help. One would see a lair, lacking in virtue, home training, and completely spoilt girl. At 17, she can not be said to be too young to know the right thing to do. Everything I have read on her Facebook correspondences with Mustapha showed a lady who enjoyed every bit of what Mustapha got to offer, sex adventures, sexcapade, and what have you. If she did not get her way, she can not turn around and cry wolf and to high heavens claiming rape. She was ganged raped, yet she kept coming wanting more, and loving the same man, common, we are no fools. And really, what has the dead Audu got to do with it, did he raped her too? The girl is sick and anyone that listen to her story, and give it a credence, need to check himself or herself for a sound mind. |
Since you want a candid opinion, here is one; He loves you, even to a fault. However, you are taking advantage of him and yet complaining. Any man in love is weak and at times blind, but it takes a weaker woman to take advantage of that. The truth is, all that he does for you and with you, it only takes a good man to do those. If you are not comfortable with it, then you really need help, help from yourself. Most women will die for such attention you are presently getting. If you are not appreciative of him, somebody else will some days and some ways. And on divorce, that is probably the lamest excuse i have ever heard from a woman. If you think that is the right thing to do, i will advise you to go ahead. But one thing is certain, the same man that is at your beck and call today, one wrong step from you, could become your nemesis. Learn to appreciate a rare man. |
Idealism is doing things yourself, realism is allowing God to help you. When it comes to the issue of women, even devil is helpless. You can't do it alone, you need God by giving your life to him and asking him to help you. Even as a married man, you still need God because no amount of self discipline and righteousness can help you, especially in this perverse generation where ladies and women of easy virtue are on the prowl looking for men to take down. Forgive yourself, because you are only human. Learn your lesson and do the needful to avoid repeat. |
This kind of asking for help is laughable. What you are asking us to do is to advise you if you are to jump inside fire that you can see by yourself with your two eyes. For me, you don't need anybody's advice to jump or not to jump inside a fire. This is not a dicey situation, so you don't need a rocket science to decipher what is needful. |
I don't know where Fayose got his hypotesy of the collapse of economy in three month's time, I think he is beginning to move into an unfamiliar terrain. Our economy may not be too good at the moment, but Fayose is far, very far from the truth. And he does not have what it takes to analyse the economy. |
I want to believe this name and tribe calling each time something bad happens is just to amuse ourselves. Just now a case of stabbing with bottle was reported in Lagos and some guys cried to high heavens calling Yoloba, Yoruba, etc. I just wonder what they will say when they read this story about another Igbo man stabbing his town's man because of money. I want to amuse myself by saying Igbo, Yobo, Ibo again? I am not a tribal bigot like some people, I am just trying to say that all these terrible vices perpetuated by guys cut across all tribes and religion! So, stop calling names. |
Agunnewi:Thank God I got married when men were men and women were women. |
SenatePresdo:Do you really think for a moment that what was said about Amaechi was true? You must be kidding me. Read between the line please. |
Hemanwel:Could it be ignorance, or deliberate attempt to close your eyes to the glaring truth about the so called indictment of Amaechi? Senate is not a court of Law and they have no jurisdiction in a case pending before the court just like no court can rule against any agreement reached in the senate. Again, almost all of them have cases pending before tribunal, yet they are legislating in the chamber, is it a case of what is good for the goose is not good for the gander? Common people! you don't play politics with people's live. In a place where things work, former Alwa-Ibom state governor is not suppose to be a minority leader, he was not the highest ranking opposition senator in the house, and the whole Nigerians can understand his hard stand against Amaechi, his former colleague. These guys are just a bunch of jokers who have lost their reputation long time ago. Please, discountenance this drama going on in the senate with the PDP, some of us live in PH and we know what the facts and figures are. |
Anywhere in the world, if a man came against you with a knife, broken bottle or any form of weapon with a motive to harm you, whatever you do to turn the table around is self defence and it is allowed under any law. Another good thing here is that there are witnesses who could corroborate his statement. If his story is true, he has broken no law. |
The lady is simply not mature for marriage, and if she eventually married to this man, she will run at slightest insinuation or circumstance. She has not even discussed the text with the guy, what a lady! |
Questions begging for answers, what went wrong in Akwa Ibom if Rivers Election could be canceled? Who takes over the state now that Wike is out? The same election ushered in the house of assembly guys, what happens to the honorables? No one is in doubt that the rivers state governorship election was a charade and an insult on our collective sensibility. It was a do or die on the path of Wike, so many lives were lost. |
@kayode, I could not agree more with you on this, this man is not worth being a minister in Nigeria. Why serving a country you can not die for? And looking at the man's antecedent, he happens to be a religion bigot and fanatic, so I tend to believe he is a Boko haram apologist. |
This is not strange my sister, not at all. You see a problem, but it is not a problem until both of you see it as such, and this is the reason talking it over with him is a must. Good communication is one factor most often missing in marriage. The man could be going through issue that you are not aware of, man's third leg is the most lazy part of his body, it is frightened by every little thing. But please, don't assume anything until you have talk it over with him. Men are also carried away at times with the feeling of I have given her every thing she needed to be comfortable. Most men don't see that aspect as one of the responsibilities they have to meet and satisfy at all time. Some men too are not really into sex, they can stay for long without it, it could be genetic or out of faith orientation. All these you will never know unless you discuss it with him. And never assume your case is rare, not at all. I am a married man and it is not every time I want to have it after three children even though my wife is still as young and beautiful as ever. So many other things take my attention and like I said, overshadow my mood. |
I am bewildered at the level of hostility and sometime ignorant displayed by some people on this forum. Is the road not a federal project? If it is, is Ayande the owner? Some people need sense. |
Chanchit:That is why they are called minors. They don't have the capacity to understand the consequences of their action, more reason they needed protection from hawks like Odiwe. |
I am just thinking aloud, how comfortable are these regalias worn by Sanusi, especially in the scorching sun! Man's aspiration sometime could be unbelievable, Sanusi could aspire to be president of Nigeria or governor of Kano with his intelligence and carriage, yet he chose to be an emir, a custodian of culture. |
It is incomprehensible what people do when they are faced with a precarious situation. Dumb and unreasonable decision and action so to say. I don't even think a proper abortion cost that much and when things get out of hand, why not take her to hospital? |
CSTR2:A learner with over 25 years experience in both private and public sector ![]() You really need help! |
Buhari's cabinet is taken shape gradually, and I must confess that I am impressed with the number of technocrats that would be working with him. Wherever they come from, east or west, south or north is actually inconsequential, what we need is a Nigeria that works, that we can all be proud of. |
The bank in question is Diamond bank and I thought the robber made away with the money because the security was not tight. I am happy to hear the money was recovered. Strange to me though because we know they escaped through ordinance road to Elikiah and there was no pursue by any police. |
Nigerians are good at making mountain out non-issue. Comedians use various means to crack the ribs of their guest, these include jabs at one another or at a prominent or political figure. Why making unnecessary noise out of this? Has Ali Baba, Gordon and the rest of them at one time or the other not make jokes of others, even in their industry? Common, this one is dead on arrival. |
I don't believe a coach could be this childish and irresponsible in his comments. This guy lacks the class to be national team coach. |
Till now, we are yet to read about the details of Amaechi's foreign account as rumored by the PDP and Wike, we are also yet to see the mansion Amaechi built within his 8 years as governor. But all we hear are unsubstantiated and spurious allegation here and there by Wike and his kangaroo commission of enquiry. The onus is on the one that allege to prove his case, and in this case, the court of law. No one can fathom why Wike is yet to approach court and stop all this noise about Amaechi. |
Human right, animal right, child right, gay and lesbian right...whole lot of rights, and the world is turning upside down. When a child flushes $720 down the drain, what happens to adult right and parent right? |
A marriage contracted on lies and deceits can not be honored by God, because there was no marriage in the first instance. That the woman stayed on is not based on bible principles but on her own volition or out of ignorance or indoctrination. She is not bound to stay in the marriage because there was no marriage at all. |
“The question is, are we to take up such positions to go and serve him,to go and make him popular? Without an Igbo man being a minister, I do not think the president will survive. So,Igbo should not take ministerial position.” Such a myopic statement from seemingly confused human being. Ministers are supposed to be servants because they are to serve us. They are not meant to be our master and lord it over us. They are chief servants for each of the ministries. |
Is there no difference between relocation and removal? The last time I checked, the ASO Villa Chapel is to be relocated, so what is the brouhaha about? Why do we play religion card every time an innocent and harmless decision is taken by the government of the day? Does God lives in houses built by man? Does God need any man to fight his battles? Was OBJ thinking when he decided to erect a chapel behind his official resident? Will all the occupants of ASO Villa be Christians? This is not a news, it is more of a propaganda! |
