All these theological permutation and combination is the reason why people are not getting saved.

Preach salvation and get people saved first biko...The holy spirit will lead them.

This thread is aimed at bringing souls to christ and not asking anyone to be part of the institutionalized religion called Christianity but to belong to christ and be christ like by virtue of their salvation.
Exactly my point.. You were the one confusing people saying one can be christ-like and Mohammed-like at the same time. The truth is that it doesn't work that way. Am not saying that one should be in an "institutionalized" religion as you call it but if one confesses Christ, he has to leave completely his old ways of life and embrace a new life in Christ, God helping him/her
Religion / Re: Islam vs Christianity. by ayili: 12:55am On Mar 19, 2018

The term Christian was first used by Pagans in antioch and YES I agree that if you are christ like then you are a true Christian but today the world has INSTITUTIONALIZED the word Christian which is not the same as the meaning of the "christ like" but a religion.
How is Christianity been institutionalized?? Besides Since you say there is a difference between Christianity and being Christ-Like then I urge you to be more Christ-like but mind you, one cannot be Christ-like and behave Mohammad-like , one cannot be Christ-like and behave like an atheist No you can't serve two masters at the same time (Mathew 6:24)

There is no place in the scriptures that says you must belong to Christianity before you can make heaven but to accept Jesus as your lord and saviour.
#But there is a place in the scriptures that says you should leave your old ways of life and identify with the Christ-like type of life.(2corth.5:17)
#But there is a place that say you must believe and confess your your mouth ( Romans 10:10) .. You can't believe and confess Jesus Christ as Lord in a mosque and keep worship Christ in a mosque.
# will a man light a lamp and keep it under a bushel? Rather he will put it on a lampstand that it may give light to all.(Mathew 5:15) verse 16 say let your light so shine before men.. Let me ask again why will one accept Christ Jesus as lord and personal Savior yet hid under Islam and expects that Christ will not be shames of him on the judgment day (Luke 9:26).

So YES a Muslim can continue to be a Muslim yet accept Jesus as lord and saviour...it's a mystery and a revelation for this end time.
what will it cost a believer to leave totally the Islamic way of life when he/she accept Christ? Why leave a life of deception?
If you are for Christ stand for Christ, if you are for islam stand for Islam Don't camouflage one for another it can be dangerous to your redemption.

A typical Muslim lives a "righteous" life and a typical Christian does same but it becomes so hard on the Muslims when you tell them that they must convert and drop there "religion" and this is unscriptural.

living a "righteous life" is not a way to salvation doing good works can only earn your heavenly crowns but it can NOt guarantee you heaven BUT wait why will one believe in Jesus as Christ as only way to salvation but still continue it live a Mohammad-like lifestyle and not a Christ like life style Why? If a man be in Christ, he is a new creature for the old have passed way (2corth. 5:17) if one believes in Christ he needs to leave the old ways of life he needs to leave Islam and be identified with Christ Jesus.

Rather tell them about salvation and once they accept Jesus as lord and saviour they become born again, redeemed and [b]christ like automatically[b/] by virtue of their acceptance.
pls don't get it wrong oh... Being Christ like is not automatically oh you have to make a conscious effort to imitate Christ by studying his words, walking in his footsteps and obeying his commands.

Gbam!

But the truth is that the world has made salvation difficult because they preach religion...meaning if you are not practising Christianity as a religion then you can be saved but Christianity as a religion is different from being Christ like.
What do you mean by ""Christianity as a religion is different from being Christ like? "" mind you Christianity means being Christ like and the word Christians was first use in Antioch(acts 11:19-30) because the believers were said to be leaving a Christ-like lifestyle

Now you CAN'T be Christ-Like and be practicing another religion. If one is truly Christ-like then he need not be ashamed of identifying with Christ (mark 3:38) besides the Bible encourages christ-like people to fellowship together (Hebrew 10:25) hence it's NOT OK if one is Christ-like and at the same time fellowship with other unchrist-like people.
The only way to salvation is through Christ Jesus. To accept Christ Jesus, you must believe and confess with your mouth (Romans 10:10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.) John 3:16 say "whosever believe in him " so salvation is NOt about good works alone one can be an unbeliever and be doing Good Good works, that doesn't guarantee salvation.

Well you're correct about what Jesus (pbuh) said in John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.[/color] That was Jesus explaining that to know Allah you have to accept him. Which checkmates the Muslims belief that "to be regarded as a Muslim, You have to accept Jesus (pbuh) as a messenger of Allah. All of us are waiting the return of Jesus (pbuh).

Salaam.
Accepting Jesus as a messenger is not the same as accepting Jesus as the way the truth and the life. If you are using the passage John 14:6 to validate accepting Jesus as a messenger then you have to check it again, the passage says nothing of messengership of Jesus rather the way, truth and life as a Muslim that claim to accept Jesus then it has to be accepting him as the only way, the truth and life through which you can gain access to the presence of the Father (eternally).

Hijab denotes covering and Firdausi was well covered and at same time dressed as required that's all that matters to me .
For other religions, let them face the music if they. Wish to u don't care if they Wear It as required
If everybody in the world does only what matters to him/her and doesn't care about others then we won't need laws, rules and regulations and you know what that means.

Suffice to say that those people are just being silly. How can you compare the dressing of a particular religion with the dressing of denominations of another religion, after all as a singer said *" ororo no be crude oil, puss cat yato si Tiger "* Hijab is not an occasional dress won by Muslims whenever they feel like or when going to the mosque alone, it's something they wear everywhere and are known for in the World all over. Cele people only wear the Suntan when going to church or for church program, they don't wear it to work. If they wore the Suntana in Europe, some one would definitely as them what religion them if it's a religiius outfir? For crying out loud, there's a Cele member amongst the employees in my office and she doesn't wear Suntana to work. It is also only when they are wearing the Suntana that they don't wear shoes. To make matters worse, Cele members are not complaining of any violation.
I am here telling you that my right has been violated and you are telling me that someone who is not complaining, that her rights are being violated as well, so therefore , my rights deserve no attention! What kind of silly analogy lacking logic or jurisprudence is this?
Even the Ifa worshippers don't wear Ifa clothes any how, they only wear it during festivals. It is only the Ifa priests and priestesses that wear Ifa clothes every wear they go.
It's just people showing pure Islamophobia. Some people are disgusted by the sight of the Hijab and would rather call the Hijab an indecent dressing and bum shots decent dressing.
Pls I need clarity on the bolded, do they also wear the hijab in the bathroom when taking their bath??, do they wear it in bed when mating with their spouse?? Why isn't other Muslim females wearing the hijab as a religious compulsion even when putting on a decent head gear that covers the hair??
