First thing first. Take this screenshot down, it's against there rules.

That interface it's displaying is for if you are new to the page with snippets. There should be a button below that says, START WORK or NEXTor USE SNIPPETS or something. Click on it and you are good to go.

First thing first, it's CLH Group. Secondly, you need to listen and flow with the convo. Your listening ability is requires too. Then get a good AI for assistance though it's not 100% accurate.
Ok sir. When you say AI, what do you refer to?

I have always been transcribing as H as in Harry, A as in Actor, R as in Red.... and the likes and I have never got marked down for that.

Greatihex:
Guys, I know there was an argument here on how calls should names should be transcribed when spelled out thus, H as in Henry etc. Please, can I confirm the best way it should be? Should it be the way it was said or the normal way for spelled out words?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by ayipo247(m): 2:01pm On Apr 06, 2020
All right, is there a way to get the test answer like QA World?

The test is about a lady talking about Remote Work.

samsard:
Yes.
If you're able to take the test again then you failed.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by ayipo247(m): 12:49pm On Apr 06, 2020
Hi, @samsard and others. I took the GoTranscript test on Saturday and submitted, which they said they would review between 30 days. On logging in now. I click on APPLY and met the same test again with even the answers I gave still there.

Does that mean, I lost the test or what?
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by ayipo247(m): 8:31pm On Apr 04, 2020
All right. Thanks alot

samsard:
Sometimes after a day, or a about a week like my second successful attempt. But their general timeline is up to sixty days. If you don't get a response, log back to the test port and if you're able to take the test again, then it means you failed
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by ayipo247(m): 6:13pm On Apr 04, 2020
Oh. Thanks a lot Samsard. Questions:

1. How many days does it take to get the feedback/result after the test. Or is it also instant like QA World?

2. Is there a way to get the answer to the test online like QA World?

samsard:
I didn't. But I don't think that makes much of a difference. The Koko is the main audio

If at the beginning of this thread, pioneers of this thread had all ran to a WhatsApp group, do you think this thread would be as rich as it is in terms of information as it is now? If you can reload QA of about 600kb on mobile platform and about 1.5mb on pc platform, I don't think reloading nairaland of less than 40kb should be a stress.
That's true though

My suggestion guys. Why don't we have a WhatsApp group for this qa-world stuff. I know someone already raised the idea before. But I felt reloading Nairaland page every now and then to see the latest is stressful. We can always have a on the go messaging platform like WhatsApp to use. It would be so good if we can do this.

And it seems Nairaland doesn't support the dropping of numbers or so. Anybody interested can mail their number to ayipo247@gmail.com while I create a group on WhatsApp
