Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by kinzu(m): 4:07pm On Jun 09, 2020 |
elantraceey: Same here some weeks ago but to get it the first time, I think a transcriber has to break into the top 200 for the week and that has to be in the 400 min bracket. I may be wrong though |
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by samsard(m): 5:20pm On Jun 09, 2020 |
kinzu:Wrong |
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by kinzu(m): 5:30pm On Jun 09, 2020 |
samsard: True if the 199th top transcriber for the week posts less than 400min sha. But I had to do that much to get it. Think I did close to 350 that week |

Lol... Qa mean business. Well, this week is a little bit fair sha. They'll get tired. I give them 1 month. 400 minutes that used to be $80+ is now $60+...i did a 21 minute FC UK for $3.3. Imagine almighty FC UK that should be close to $5 |
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by samsard(m): 4:51pm On Jun 10, 2020 |
nwafresh:Just exploitation. Average of 33% pay slash. I know what it takes to hit 400 minutes and it's not beans. |

Working on ISSA calls is just a waste of time. I've noticed that no matter how clear the calls are, there's this particular set of people who vet it and you can't get more than 3 ratings. Who has noticed it? |
Re: Self Employment Opportunity: Transcribing For A Living In Nigeria Part 1 by nwafresh(m): 4:57pm On Jun 10, 2020 |
samsard: I just pray this nonsense is as a result of Coronavirus. The most annoying part is the ratings now. They're just frustrating everyone. I now release calls from ISSA or HomeLight. I've observed that calls from those companies goes to some wicked sets of raters. If it's not FC UK, Loans, CLH calls, I no do. |

nwafresh:Chai. Really sad. I doubt those niggas will increase pay for any reason. They have an I don't give a damn attitude now because the supply of transcribers is endless. 1 Like |

samsard: But the supply of good quality transcribers are limited. If they maltreat and lose the quality transcribers, then the whole place will turn to a playground. |

Qa sent me $1.46 I made last week. It is not easy to get call. There is no chance to check whether the call will be difficult or not. I just dey click any how as a result of which two of the call I transcribe are rated 1 and 2 respectively after I had released like 3 call before then. I don't know if I can get tips on how to make $5 above per week here. |

HAYSHIRES: First thing first. Take this screenshot down, it's against there rules. That interface it's displaying is for if you are new to the page with snippets. There should be a button below that says, START WORK or NEXTor USE SNIPPETS or something. Click on it and you are good to go. |
