But it's not really necessary to become wealthy. Being moderately rich is sufficient.

Guy, nothing do you. I love the fact that you typed that you won't bring child(ren) to this world if you are not rich enough. I respect that your decision. Some selfish bastardd will still go ahead & bring child(ren) when they know they are not financially capable, thereby increasing the menace we have in the society. And about you cutting ties with your parents, still no biggie in that. Afterall, they've done their part by bringing you into this world even when you did not request to be born into this world. And you probably don't want them to be a bad inspiration & influence on you. I've cut ties with my pa since many years now because I don't want to be like him & make the same mistake that he made. I don't want his sh!t to rob on me. As for my mom, I'm not cutting ties with her but I've made up my mind not to get involved with a woman like her & restrict her from getting close to my family for reasons best known to me.
