There are many hidden secrets in thanksgiving, that if we would ever take our time to explore and know them we will never joke with it for once. Many of us know that it is God’s will for us to give thanks always, 1 Thess 5:18. But we still don’t pay attention to it because we don’t know that it is the devil’s wish for us never to give thanks. What a pity! It means when we find it hard to comply or obey God’s simple wishes, we simply fall to obey satan’s strict, unfriendly and unrewarding orders. There are many hidden secrets in thanksgiving but would take much more time to discuss and will cause this article to be lengthy which you wouldn’t appreciate. Notwithstanding, I would like to share some of them with you:

1. When we thank God we make our blessings permanent: It was only one out of the ten lepers Jesus cleansed that got his complete wholeness just because he came back thanking God. Many of us when God as just shown us a little part of his faithfulness, that’s when we stop going to God, that is when the sermon of your pastor that has never be boring before suddenly becomes boring to you. That’s why we see that in little or no time the blessing disappears because we didn’t abide in whom who has given the blessing to sustain. Of course a car cannot continue to travel a very long distance without any other petrol because it has just be filled to the brim today, the car must be brought to a filling station for topup to sustain the petrol it has got inside, unless you want to end up pushing the car to its destination. You do yourself a whole lot of good when you thank God.

2. We resist the devil when we engage ourselves in thanksgiving : The bible in James 4:7 says Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. It’s never satan’s wish for us to thank God. Little do you know that when you refuse to thank God and give in to depression, you have just allowed satan, you’ve granted him a free passage. Because depression is one of the weapons of warfare of the enemies against believers while Praise is one of the weapon of warfare of Christians against the enemies. Moreover, the problems, troubles, and disaster that accompanies depression cannot be overlooked, Never! if you doubt this ask the doctors for the causes of hypertension, diabetics, etc. they will educate you better. When you refuse the wish of the devil, you are resisting him big time, he is battered by this. I know you’d like to batter him more and more, so please don’t stop thanking God.

3. We receive more than what we request/bargain for during thanksgiving: Thanksgiving is part of worship/praise and vice-versa. When we worship God His glory comes down, when we worship Him intensely, He Himself comes down, Don’t forget that God came down to ask Solomon his heart desire (1Kings 3:5) as a result of his sacrifice of worship. Solomon asked God for wisdom only, but God added riches, honour, longetivity to his request. He will do same for you, if you will thank him exceptionally today. Satan can’t withstand the fullness of God’s glory. He can’t withstand the heat of the fire produced in a spirit-filled worship atmosphere unless he wants to choke himself. Worship is sacred; it is not ordinary as we use to think. God manifests Himself more in worship. Many of us keep allowing Satan to keep our mind busy with many irrelevant things during this special moment in our churches, One question you should ask yourself is that, why does this not happen when I am watching films, home videos, or doing other things, why must it be during worship sessions I get carried away? Until you can answer these questions, then you will realize the tricks satan has been using to steal your blessings all these while. Turn a new leaf today, resist satan with your thanksgiving.

4. You live a life of victory when you thank God always: When you are victorious, it means you have defeated. To keep living in the victorious, you must keep defeating. You are not victorious if you haven’t defeated/conquered something/someone. When you engage yourself in thanksgiving you defeat the devil and his cohorts. The wall of Jericho didn’t fell down as a result of bulldozers or other demolishing machines. It fell down as a result of continuous shout of praise by God’s people, Joshua 6:1-27. The battle Jehoshaphat led Israel against three mighty nations was not conquered as a result of guns, armour, teargas, etc. Infact, they did not raise a finger at all. God made them to conquer convincingly three mighty nations that rose against them in battle as a result of this same praise and thanksgiving you don’t count, 2 Chronicles 20:1-30.It has been a tradition among many of we children of God to thank God just only when things are good and complain when times are hard. The bible in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 says “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”. The word "Everything" used in the scriptures means both in the good times and in the bad times, both friendly moments and worst moment.

However thanksgiving is not enclosed in praise, prayer, and worship alone. We can also live a life of thanksgiving- a life that give thanks and glory unto God always. There are things you will do in life that people will thank God for your existence like the story of Dorcas (Tabitha) we read about in Acts 9:36-41. There are many morals in that story that will be too much to exhaust here, but one single moral we can learn is the good life she lived-adding color to the lives of people. You would agree with me if Peter have failed to pray unto God to bring back Tabitha to life, trouble would have arise there and then because the widows won't have let him go. Thank God, He proved His faithfulness that day. There is no other life worth living that a life of thanksgiving.

Also, your thanksgiving unto God cannot be accepted if you are not in good terms with Him. The bible says the prayer of a sinner is an abomination unto Him, Proverbs 15:8. If the prayer of a sinner is abominable unto God, your praise or thanksgiving will not be acceptable either. Give your life to Jesus Christ today to make your thanksgiving potent, effective, acceptable, and beneficial. Are you ready? Say this prayer with me;

Lord Jesus, I accept you as my personal Lord and Saviour, I confess all my secret and open sin, I forsake and promise to forsake all my sinful and evil ways. Help me Lord Jesus never to go back to my old ways in Jesus Name, Amen.

Congratulations, You are saved! All you need to do now is just to find the nearest Bible Believing worship centre to you to maintain and nourish your faith. God bless you.

Dear Friends,

I am here to expose the acts of some guys who indulge in silly acts in public buses and also to seek how these evil acts can be curbed. I dont know the section to post this, so please Mods you can help by channeling to appropriate section. Thank you. Please find below my experiences:

Two months ago, i boarded a bus home after work on a friday night. I was so exhausted due to workload at the office and also the struggle to get a bus. I managed to get settled in the bus as the seats were so tight. I was seated directly behind the driver by the window. As we were transiting, I tried to chat with my friends on BBM so I wouldnt sleep off. I hardly sleep when transiting but that day I was too tired to even chat so I kept my phone inside my bag and placed it on my laps, then i rested my head on the driver's seat to take a short nap as my destination is still far. I boarded the bus from iyanoworo going to Ikorodu.

While sleeping, I felt something on my b**bs but I thought it just some imagination and then i dozed off again. I felt same thing again then i noticed that the guy sitting beside me was actually touching my b**bs but I wasnt so sure so I pretended i was dozing again and as soon as he repeated the act, i held his hand but he quickly dragged off his hands. I was too shocked to believe . I was perplexed. I couldnt say a word. I gave him a stern look and I told him to adjust himself. The reason I couldnt shout was because I didnt want to be embarassed by the passengers. The guy could actually lie about it as there were no evidence and the passengers were mostly men in the vehicle. I was just shaky and the guy was just humming along with the music been played in the bus and nodding his head like nothing ever happened. He alighted at the next bustop. Then, I promised myself that I would be more vigilant in the bus.

But this recent one really shook me . I boarded going to CMS around 5:30am last Monday. I sat at the back sit and here came this guy who sat beside me. He was well dressed, had his suit on his hands and he was putting on recommended glasses. As we moved, the chilly breeze blew across our faces which made about 80% of the passengers sleep. I dint sleep as usual but I wasnt comfortable because I was sick over the weekend so I was still feeling feverish. I dropped my bags on my laps and was trying to just BE when i felt something on my laps. I thought it was the heavy loads i put on my laps so i readjusted. The bus I boarded was on high speed making so much noise and bumping into different potholes without caution. So i was really uncomfortable. To cut the long story short, as we got to CMS Ajah park, the man that sat on my left side alighted which made me shift to his position. Then this guy also shifted closely beside me. I wondered why he sat that close when there were spaces but I ignored it since it didnt disturb me. As we got to our final destination, I carried my bag up so as to prepare to come down, Lo and Behold, this well dressed guy had his left hand on my laps just underneath my bags where my kitty lies while he had his suit on his second hand. I was so furious. I shouted at him, insulted him, asked him what he was doing. He didnt even mention a word, he was just murmuring. When we got down, I held him and was shouting but then what would that do? He just kept on walking away and he told me am embarrassing myself. I felt humiliated and assaulted. I was bitter. Some men asked me what happened and i explained. They said I should just ignore him and go so I dont embarrass myself and that I should go and pray. I was so sad that I almost cried . He wasnt even remorseful.

But i thank God i anointed myself that morning. This is what I do every morning before I step out, I also take a shot of the anointing oil and pray with it. It is a kingdom mystery that I partake in. So whatever evil he might have attempted, It has been destroyed by the anointing.
Ladies, please be very sensitive and vigilant in public buses. These monsters are out there. Its strange but true. Only God knows if they do it for diabolical purposes. I had a lot of questions running through my mind: Since when was his hand on my laps because I still adjusted for the other man to come down? How come I didnt even notice not until we almost alighted? How did his hands get there? God will definitely judge him.

Ladies, Please do share your experiences if you have encountered such before so as to serve as a warning to others. Responsible men in the house, is there a drive that makes some guys behave like that or you think its just for diabolical purposes. Your comments are highly appreciated. Thank you.

Are you sure you were not putting on tempting or revealing dresses on these two occassions. This could be the likely cause, look into that also. We are addressed the way we are dressed.

WHY SHOULD HE MARRY YOU

1. You have nothing to add to him when he marries you and you think he will marry you. You are standing on a long thing my sister. Men appreciate assets much more than liabilities.

2. A guy uses you to satisfy his sexual urge and keeps professing he loves you, wise up you are just an official harlot. Refuse him once maybe he won’t dump you.

3. Little wonder why club girls’ relationship does not lead to marriage. He is not a fool now, he knows the church to go to get a good wife material. He does not even care if you are prettier than her. That's guys for you

4. It is only on February 14 you are his girlfriend and you believe him just because the peanuts he gives you, do you hope to marry at all, because if you do you would have called it off long ago.

5. A good character will make him stay not choking him with sex. Wise up!

6. Many guys are after you and you are happy, have you forgotten that cheap products always attract many customers?

7. You have been courting for more than two years and you don’t see him taking you to the altar. What are you waiting for? You better run for your life or have you agreed to be a sister or a single mother for life?

And to The Guys

8. You use contraceptive to protect yourself from physical and health infections after you have done the fornication and you think you are free, what about the spiritual infections, does contraceptives now work for spiritual infections? You better wise up, and abstain from all unholy relationships.

9. You think you are a player because you have succeeded in sleeping with almost all the ladies in your neighborhood thinking that there is nothing for you to lose. I pity your old age, have you ever take your time to know the content of the semen you release at any point in time. Your Semen contain DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid), carrier of the heredity genetic code and determinative for the sexual aspect; RNA (Ribonucleic Acid), enzymes, proteins, glucosides, lecithin, calcium, phosphorus, biological salts, testosterone, etc. These are what you lose into those ladies that you sleep with when you can’t abstain.

10. Little wonder why some men struggle all their life to give birth to a particular sex of children (Ignoring the supernatural aspect now) when they would have wasted the semen (which contains the DNA (Deoxyribonucleic Acid), carrier of the heredity genetic code and determinative for the sexual aspect) to produce that particular sex on harlots. They will keep blaming their wives over their misfortunes, wise up you got the problem man.

A word is enough for the wise. I hope you heed to this little advise of mine or you face the consequences of not heeding to it.

BEYOND MIRACLES

If you don't know that there is something more greater and beyond miracles, then I think you need to be introduced to what is called a WONDER. I pray for you in the Name that is above every other name, the wonder working God will cause you to experience a great wonder today in Jesus name.

Let's see What a miracle and what a wonder is:

MIRACLE: An extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency.
WONDER: Something, someone, or an occurence beyond miracles.

It is true that miracle suspends natural laws for the supernatural to occur, very true. But wonders go beyond suspending the laws alone, it goes to the extent to make people disbelief even what they can see with their very own eyes. An adage says 'Seeing is believing' very true! But when wonder occurs people find it difficult to believe even though they are seeing it.

Let see the account of wonders in the Bible

What Jesus did/demonstrated in the life of that man who was born blind from his mother's womb in John 9:1-7 was a wonder, There is a great difference between one who had lost his/her sight and a person that has never had one. Restoring the sight of someone who had lost his/hers is a miracle, but however Providing/Creating an eye for someone who has never had one is nothing but a wonder. That man never had an eye but the wonder working God produced him one. That was the reason people doubted what has happened to the man despite the fact they could see him with their very own eyes (John 9:8-9). I decree in the Name that is above every other name, may you experience a great wonder that will throw people into confusion in Jesus name.

The account of the famine in Samaria 2Kings 7:1-2 was also a wonder. Or how could you describe a city that her women has started killing their children for their survival to show you how intensed the famine in the land was (2 King 6:26-29) and within 24hours after a decree from a servant of God, God caused the city to enjoy plenty. Please Don't blame that lord (2 Kings 7:2a) that doubted that decree because it is not that he did not believe in miracles, he did (the reply he gave to the man of God shows that) just that he did not know that there was something much more than a miracle. He wasn't aware of WONDERS, it was so unfortunate for him that he wasn't alive to witness the plenty because he got the man of God angry by mocking his God.

Another account of a wonder is in John 11:1-44. When someone dies in a day and he/she was brought back to life it's a miracle, but when someone who has died for good four days and he is brought back to life, it is a wonder. The dead would have start decomposition thereby it becomes stinking (John11:39). Not that Mary and Martha did not believe in miracles, they did because the statement (John 11:32) Mary uttered confirms that, however they did not believe there was something that was beyond miracles. They didn't believe their four days old dead can rise to live again. In the Name that is above every other name, that which is dead in you life that men has condemned it can never come back to life, the wonder working God will bring them to life in Jesus name!

Wonders is free. Everyone/Anyone can be a partaker of wonders. But there are conditions to satisfy to make this possible.

CONDITIONS TO SATISFY TO BE A PARTAKER OF WONDERS

1. Obedience: For you to be a candidate of wonders you must be obedient. You must be ready to listen and to comply to the instructions and commands of the wonder working God. In John 9:7, Jesus instructed that blind man to Go and wash in the pool of Siloam. In John 11:39, Jesus instructed them to take away the stone. If they have not yielded to any of Jesus instruction, they wouldn't have experienced the wonder meant for them. Obedience is necessary for you to experience a wonder. If you are ready to experience a wonder you must be ready to obey.

2. Be positioned for the wonder: The man would't have received that wonder that day, if he had been in the wrong place. Many of us visit the wrong places in search of substandard miracles, blessings that will never last, blessings and miracles with sorrow attached. The best and only place to be to experience a wonder is in the house/presence of God. Be positioned at the right place.

3. Ask: One of the keys to receiving a wonder is by asking, Ask 7:7, John 14:13, Numbers 14:28. Though the bible didn't mention that the blind man in John 9:1-9 ask for Jesus help, but I am very sure he would have been praying long ago for such a wonder. Nobody in such condition will be comfortable and happy. He must have asked. The king of Samaria put his matter to God for the famine in Samaria to end. Asking is a major key to receiving.

4. Be born again: It takes you to be born again to experience a wonder. Jesus said specifically to that woman, that miracles are for the children and not for the dogs. (Matthew 15:26-28). If not for her persistence and great faith, she would have lost her daughter. The bible also made us to understand that Lazarus was a friend to Jesus, which was one of the reasons Jesus gave him attention. Be born again today to experience wonders.

5. Be persistent is asking: The bible said we should ask until our joy is full (John 16:24). The woman in Matthew 15:26-28 persisted, Jacob persisted, refused to let go of God until He was blessed. Genesis 33:26. If you keep asking a thing from someone and you did not persist the fellow will be forced to give unto you that which you have asked him/her, how much more God?

PERFORMING WONDERS.
We all can perform wonders as Jesus has done. He is our Elijah and we are His Elisha. He has promised us that we will even do greater works than that He has done (John 14:12). One condition to satisfy to perform wonders after we might have fulfill the conditions to be a partaker of wonders is to submit to the HolySpirit, and allow the HolySpirit in us because He is the Spirit behind any wonder. When Jesus was with His disciples, the disciples couldn't perform a single miracle not to talk of a wonder, but when He was about to leave He promised to send them the HolySpirit (Comforter) John 14:26. And until the arrival of this HolySpirit they couldn't perform and wonder (Acts 2:1-13). The same HolySpirit is still with us today, and you can perform even more than the wonders Jesus performed, If you will rely on His HolySpirit

God will cause you to be a wonder, He will work wonders through you, for you and on you.
Today you will be a wonder.
Every hindrances to you becoming a wonder will be utterly destroyed today in Jesus mighty name.

Christmas is not just a time for us to merry alone, but there are some things we should pay attention to and learn from our Saviour who was born (The reason we are actually celebrating Christmas.

-1- Humility
If there is one thing that the birth of Christ teaches us all is Humility in high respect. Jesus Christ humbled Himself to come to the earth for the remission of our sins
with all His position in Heaven. Can you imagine that the King of kings was so humbled that He was born in a manger even when there are several best hospitals.

#Jesus was #Humility Personified Phil2:9-11. Won't it be great if we can learn, copy, and covet this attitude of our Saviour.

Our Saviour, Jesus left all His mansions in Heaven with all the comfort therein and choose to come to this earth to suffer. From
all the house on earth, He decided not to come through the influential, wealthy, rich people but He chose to come through the
house of a poor Carpenter. Jesus really brought Himself low as
said in Phil 2:9-11.

Can you do all these just to save perishing souls. This is one of the great lessons of Christmas we all Christians should try and learn and not use all day for merry making
alone.

Some workers in church will even refuse to leave their present parishes to plant other parishes, all because they don't want to leave the comfort of their fully Air Conditioned environment, Fans, Projectors, fully Secluded
and secured environment for the mosquito filled, unsecured, unhealthy environment. It is
as worse as that. Yet many of them celebrate Christmas like no man's business. Let your impact be felt this Christmas. Never
let it be zoned to merry making alone. It is well with you!...

-2- Compassion
Another lesson we should also learn from Christmas is compassion. It was the compassion Jesus had for perishing souls that made Him come to Earth. Jesus could not stand souls perishing that's
why He came to earth. Moreover He wasn't the only one there (The question God asked shows that 'Who shall I send?) Others refused
but the compassion Jesus had made Him to accept to go through all the sufferings to save mankind.

Are you compassionate at all?
Are you compassionate enough?
Don't you wish to be more compassionate as Jesus was?

Look around you, many souls are on their way to hell 'perishing' just because they haven't seen someone that will share the
gospel to them. Nobody to go to their respective huts to tell them the good news.
Enough of the souls perishing around your locality, GO out and preach the gospel with all thy strength and might.
You will not lose your reward, I'm very sure about that. God bless you!

#Christmas also teaches us love. As we know that God Himself is love. Jesus acted love. It was not just in mere saying. He demonstrated it. If not for the love He had, He wouldn't have
thought of coming to earth knowing fully well that He will go through all those pains, sufferings and punishments.

He had the greatest love for us all, For one to accept to die in our place for the sins we actually committed. If the love He has for us is not greater, which other love could be called greater? Sincerely there is no greater love than this!

Nobody on earth can love us as Jesus loves us. We also should try and replicate the love of Christ unto others this Christmas and not
just make merry alone.

We should help those who are in one need or the other and we should also bring them to Christ's feet as this is the greatest kind of love and gesture we can Show/give to them this yuletide season.

Most of the people that attended to the question are obviously in an unhappy/loveless marriage. .. What's wrong with living in a house built by your better half??
