Surely001: A PRAYER FOR G.E.J SUPPORTERS ---------------------------------------------- 1.) May God run ur Life the wayGEJ is running this country. 2.) May God give u and ur family the kind of peace GEJ gives to this country. 3.) May God subsidize ur blessings the way Jonathan subsidized the Nigerian Oil. 4.) May God secure u and ur entire family the way GEJ secures this country. As a Good supporter of GEJ all u have to do is to type"Amen" and disgrace the General public that he his God Sent.
*Be brave to type Amen* Thanks! if u have no reason to say AMEN to any of those prayers, then I doubt if u are gonna love how ur parents did run ur life. Name one president u would prefer God to run ur life just as he did run the country. |

She calls some of her male frnds sweet names like boo, honey, etc. I complained and she stopped it. I checked her instagram page today(am not on instagram, used my frnd's phone). We Nigerians should start embracing change, assuming u have been failing an exam since 1999 because of the reading method u adopted, now there is a new method in 2015,will u continue the old method?or won't u try out the new method?..do u knw why lagos is better than most states in Nigeria?..it is because IT HAS NEVER BEEN IN THE HANDS OF THE PDP!!! #nuffsaid u have been failing an exam since 1999......they must be following you from ur village. what an analysis. |

Family › Re: 30 Manners Every One Should Know. by ayobase(m): 3:30pm On Oct 07, 2014 |
cancaworm: 30 Manners Everyone Should Know. It's said charity begins at home, start using these ,in the presence of your children and watch them grow into a respectable citizen.
#1: When asking for something, say "Please."
#2: When receiving something, say "Thank you." Be especially appreciative and say "thank you" for any gift you receive. If any services is offered to you too. That waitress in the restaurant, learn to say thank you after serving you the meal. The fuel attendant too. It doesn't matter of you are paying. It's simply courtesy.
#3: Do not interrupt people who are speaking with each other unless there is an emergency. They will notice you and respond when they are finished talking.
#4: If you do need to get somebody's attention right away, the phrase "excuse me" is the most polite way for you to enter the conversation.
#5: When you have any doubt about doing something, ask permission first. It can save you from many hours of grief later.
#6: Keep negative opinions to yourself, or between you and your friends, and out of earshot of others.
#7: Do not comment on other people's physical characteristics unless, of course, it's to compliment them, which is always welcome.
#8: When people ask you how you are, tell them and then ask them how they are.
#9: When you have spent time at a friend's house, remember to thank your hosts for having you over and for the good time you had.
#10: Knock on closed doors -- and wait to see if there's a response -- before entering.
#11: When you make a phone call, introduce yourself first and then ask if you can speak with the person you are calling.
#12: Use a quiet voice inside, especially in places like restaurants.
#13: Never use foul language in front of people if you don't know if it will bother them.
#14: Don't call people mean names.
#15: Do not make fun of anyone for any reason. Teasing shows others you are weak, and ganging up on someone else is cruel.
#16: Even if an event is boring, sit through it quietly and pretend that you are interested. The performers and presenters are doing their best.
#17: If you bump into somebody, immediately say "Excuse me."
#18: Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze, and don't pick your nose in public.
#19: As you walk through a door, look to see if you can hold it open for someone else.
#20: Help others out when you can.
#21: When someone helps you, say "thank you."
#22: When someone asks you to do something, try to do it without grumbling and with a smile. You have a right to say no, you should be polite and offer a good reason if you do. If someone asks you to do something that feels dangerous or wrong, it's okay to say no and not be polite to keep yourself safe.
#23: Use eating utensils properly. If you are unsure how to do so, ask someone to teach you or watch what people you respect do.
#24: Keep a napkin on your lap; use it to wipe your mouth when necessary.
#25: Don't reach for things at the table; ask to have them passed.
#26: Chew with your mouth closed.
#27: If you hurt someone, say "I'm sorry" and try to find a way to make it better.
#28: Don't hurt people on purpose.
#29: Don't use people's things without permission.
#30: Treat others the way you'd like to be treated.
* Remember: Children count as people.
CC. Examiner.com basic etiquette simplified. . I so much love "I am sorry" and "thank you".....you can do wonders with those. |

BankoleNco: Hey guys, I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I'd go ahead and post here as it is related to health (depression). Well, I don't want to bore you with long sermon-esque writings, so I'd skip the fancy stuff and go straight to the point. I'd be turning 30 mid next year and its really eating me up! I feel depressed and old! Its been giving me sleepless nights and middle of the night insomnia I wake up 4.00 am for no reason nowadays and just stare at the ceiling lost in thought and scared as hell with thoughts of being in the twilight of my youth, knowing I'd have to get married pretty soon, just 10 years away from 40, no more clubbing, no more spontaneous Saturday drives. The worst part is I spent MOST of my teenage and youth life in self development and didn't have time to indulge in some most of the activities attached to youthful exuberance. Its paid off, yes! But, I AM DEPRESSED right now! Did any of you guys currently 30 and above experience same? Would really help if someone said something. *sigh* believe me all ur worries will be long gone the mooment u marry ur better half. marriage is knocking on ur door......be quick about it. |

colossus2: I kept shouting and stopped teaching. Common to turn the key and start the car was an issue initially, then while accelerating you would see both hands at the base of the steering, while turning the hands would form a cross on the steering (instead of freeing one hand while the other turns it). I gave up mehn u gat me laughing bro. |
