Seun: Someone needs to take down this individual.
I used to think he was a harmless entertainer until I heard about how workers borrow money to meet his demands.
And about what people seeking healing go through at the "healing school".
did he ask the workers to borrow money to meet his demands?

blame the gullible or rather stupid workers.

I bet you are also gonna pass for being gullible with this post of urs.
Nairaland General › Re: "Like" Feature Temporarily Disabled For Experiment by ayobase(m): 11:54am On Sep 10, 2014
Seun: Fellow Nairaland Members,

You may have noticed that you can no longer "like" posts. This is because we temporarily disabled the feature as part of an experiment.

We plan to bring it back as soon as the experiment is complete, though that outcome also depends on the result of the experiment.

Please bear with us; we do not mean to inconvenience you.
please, it should be brought back with "dislike" button.....thanks and God bless.

Education › Re: 6 Reasons Not To Attend A Public University by ayobase(m): 10:34am On Sep 10, 2014
OduntanGabriel: This is a counter thread to what was written by a fellow nairalander.

Here are the 6 reasons why I attending a private university is good for you.

3)CONNECTION: No matter how rich a man is,if he doesn't have connection,he's useless. Private universities creates an avenue for you to meet the sons and daughters of the rich and powerful men in our societies. The Dangotes and otedolas have their sons ,daughters, nephew etc in this so called private universities and this can easily elevate you. Being a scholar does not guarantee you an employment opportunity in our society except you are connected. Isn't it a good thing to be dinning and winning with the crème de la crème of society? Answer me

5) STRIKE ACTION: OMG, why would a 4years course becomes 6years without any extra years or carry over? Strike has been one of the main problem facing the education system in nigeria. Some people entered the university @ the age of 25 with the hope of finishing a 4 years course but due to strike actions the finished at the age of 31 and couldn't go for their youth service because they are above 30years. In a private university, you know when you are graduating except the student failed some courses which lead to extra years.
I can only MANAGE with these two........OTHERS ARE TOTAL CRAP!

Politics › Re: Chibok: ‘it’s Very Easy To Criticize Jonathan Without All The Details’ – Fashola by ayobase(m): 9:40am On Sep 10, 2014
egift: The problem has never been what to do, but President Jonathan's inability to do something significant or comprehensive. The only efforts he puts on are most times a reaction or too late.

"If what you are doing is not producing the desired results, then you are not doing it properly" - Egift 2014

Some of the things that should have commenced in earnest 5 years ago, include but not limited to:

- Law Enforcement: Investigate all cases of allegation of Sponsors, Arrest and prosecute all those found wanting in courts of competent jurisdiction. Seek the maximum punishment possible.

- Attacks: Infiltrate all ranks of the groups and increase security intelligence. Have locals doing most of the tasks. Send in well train small numbers of forces to take out insurgents leaders.

- Security Templates: Have various security agencies to work out "Template of Actions" on Tip offs, Hostage Situation, Abductions, Attacks, Deserter, Medical, Riots, etc.

- Development: Create jobs, Basic Amenities, etc in these communities and for Nigerians there. If it is hostile, use local workforce. And make sure these communities feel the dividends from government, etc.

- Collaboration: Harness Nigeria's human capacity (collaborate will community, religious, government and other leaders to bring a lasting solution.

- Others: Outlaw and other illegal groups. Train and equip our Soldiers. Among other things that need to be done.
what about if the Senate thwarts ur plans......democratically elected president is conditioned.
Politics › Re: Chibok: ‘it’s Very Easy To Criticize Jonathan Without All The Details’ – Fashola by ayobase(m): 9:36am On Sep 10, 2014
egift: The more details details you find out Jonathan has, the more you agree he deserves all the blame for this failure:
- There is no was not informed of the abduction few hours after it happened, yet he was in Kano dancing Skelewu with a female female party agent.
- He has not visited the community months after it happened.
- His sent out his attack dogs to convince the world it was a scam (even tarnishing our national reputation the more before the world).
- He summoned the victims to visit him instead of visiting them. He even tried to bribe them too.
- His wive made caricature of the plights of the Chibok victims with a crocodile tears on National TV.
- He turned deaf ears and played dumb to all the calls and campaigns to do something meaning and be a leader for once.
- He had people negotiate on his behave and never had the gut to finish it, pull out at the dieing minute. Even lying about it.
- Overseeing the most corrupt administration in history (where Police Pension and Security Budget are stolen with anyone getting punished.
- All the folks accused of founding, masterminding and funding terror, all have very close ties with Jonathan's administration.
- And so much more...

With the current security situation in Nigeria, Jonathan has failed morally, patriotically, politically, economically, as a father of the nation, as a leader, technically, strategically, responsively and mentally. Except when it comes to corruption (inflating security budget and demanding a Billion Dollar Loan).
you should also be able to reason why he acted that way......

marveangel: My immediate younger sister and I are very close...like super close.....I'm about 6 years older than her but we're pals....we talk about almost everything...We have other siblings~ elder ones but we not as close to them as we are to ourselves...She's the last and only female child in the house. On friday, out of the blue she just dropped it on me that she is in love.....I was still raking my head thinking of how to advice her to take the whole love thing one step at a time.....I didn't know she was about to drop another bomb.... last night after saying our night prayers she came into my room grinning....I asked whatz up...she sat on the edge of my bed and said 'I said Yes'......I was like yes to what....she smiled again even laughing....'I said yes to the guy that has being asking me out'. I felt strange!!!.........I just smiled and said cool....big girl. But this morning I woke up and am afraid for her..... Could she really be in lovehuh How am I sure dis is nt anoda sharp guy putting things in her head....How could she be certain its love...she's just 19......what should I do guyz..I am sincerely concerned for my sister...how do I help her avoid a heartbreak.

Politics › Re: Breaking!!! Umaru Fintiri Emerges PDP Flag Bearer. by ayobase(m): 10:59am On Sep 08, 2014
barcanista: It's so unfortunate that the PDP is not a party to trust. It is so immoral for a Speaker to oust a Governor and then run for the Governor's seat. The people of Adamawa should reject the acting Gov at the poll otherwise, it will be a case of Sheer incompetency and absolute failure. Whoever assume that Fintiri won't run in 2015 is a big joke(shd he win the byelection).
it would have been more honourable and respectable if he didnt run.

but I will support and give him the green light IFF he is good man and never had a terrible past record.

I dont know the guy as such.

Lawd have mercy.
I refuse to accept this.

why would a pastor makes such a policy at the detriment of the church's growth!

even a foolish pastor wouldnt dare.

For God's sake....how will a pastor say couples should be seoarated for this alleged purpose.

Politics › Re: PDP Defeats APC, Wins Niger East Senatorial By-election, Premium Times. by ayobase(m): 2:27pm On Sep 07, 2014
barcanista: This result looks fishy.
In the first election, the difference in votes according to INEC was approximately 5000 in favor of "PDP".
In the re-run and final election, the PDP allegedly scores 92k, while the APC scored 87k, the difference still remains 5000. Are we saying that the areas where rerun was held voted evenly? This is a clear indication that the result was doctored/allocated.
Shame to INEC in Niger
it could be.
anything is possible.
