moderatorr1: During his end of the year cross over night service, Father Mbaka of Enugu State, a catholic priest started voicing support for Buhari. His audience were shocked and fell entirely silent even during the time he called for responses. The priests themselves, standing on the stage with him all folded their hands in awe as the man of God dabbled into politics.
This is a video of Buhari with a spear encouraging his followers to kill people during election. After he lost that election, youth corpers where mobbed. Then he stayed for 2 days before coming to bbc under pressure to ask his people to stop the violence.
He said people should vote Buhari because Jonathan could not stop 'simple insurgency'. In reality, insurgency is not simple, no country has been able to stop insurgency once it has started. Kenya, Libya, Israel, Pakistan, Afghanistan, USA (with all their technology and sophistication), Nigeria. Terrorism by groups of individuals who use Islam as a motivation or a mask are unstoppable: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islamic_terrorism
1. He said people should vote Buhari because we have not seen more bloodshed in the history of the nation since Boko Haram started. Statistically, boko haram has killed about 10,000 people, Biafran war was started due to a reverse on the aburi accord, it killed 2 million people, mostly civilians. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigerian_Civil_War
2. He said Boko Haram started due to unemployment caused by Goodluck's administration. Well, Boko haram started in 2009 and Goodluck started ruling in 2009 as acting. So when did the unemployment start? Actually boko haram said their aim is to implement total sharia in Nigeria. And that they are against democracy or anything from the west.
5. He said Buhari didn't encourage violence, lies, see the video above.
6. Then He said Buhari didn't say he will make the country ungovernable, he pointed that ciroma was the one who said it. cool .. but Buhari actually said "if i don't win in 2015, the dogs and the baboons will soak in blood" And refused to join the team to negotiate with boko haram.
7. Fr. Mbaka said Buhari said he will islamise nigeria but didnt mean it since he didnt do it the first time he ruled. Lol. In 2001, Buhari said in a meeting "God willingly we will continue to push for total implementation of sharia in the country. Those who are not part of us should learn about it" .
And...Fr. Mbaka said the holy spirit told him so.
Hmmm, i'm a catholic but Nwa Mbaka is on his own in this one. I wonder how much they paid him.

NgeneUkwenu: President Goodluck Jonathan said the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had in the last 15 years created many millionaires and billionaires in the country.
He made the remark at the PDP Fund Raising Dinner for his re-election at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa on Saturday night. About N21.27 billion was realized at the dinner.
The president said:
“This party, as you all know, is a business-friendly party. The government of PDP encourages policies and will come up with programmes and policies that will promote enterprise and industry. We believe we must encourage commercial activities. And within this period that the PDP has been ruling, we’ve actually created a number of millionaires and billionaires.”
Jonathan used the occasion to appeal to all aspirants of the party aggrieved by the conduct of its primaries nationwide not to dump the party.
Many of the party’s aspirants have defected to other parties and others threatened to either do same or work against the PDP during the 2015 general elections. They are all alleging irregularities and imposition of candidates at the primaries.
Some of the aggrieved aspirants included former PDP National Chairman Barnabas Gemade and ex-Minister of State for Trade and Investment, Sam Ortom who have joined the All Progressives Congress (APC) for failing to get the PDP’s senatorial and gubernatorial tickets respectively in Benue State. Also, former Oyo State Governor Alao Akala had left the PDP for Labour Party, for failing to clinch the party’s gubernatorial ticket for the 2015 poll.
But President Jonathan urged all aggrieved aspirants to remain in the PDP, saying the leadership of the party was striving hard to resolve the grievances.
The president, however, noted that all the cases might not be resolved to the satisfaction of affected aspirants, saying the PDP would be guided by the issues raised when preparing for the 2019 primary elections.
He said the PDP would continue to keep Nigeria one and his administration would formulate policies that promote enterprises and industries.

spiritfada: The Nigerian Senate have released the Curriculum Vitae (Resume) which Princess Stella Oduah the Aviation Minister used in securing her appointment. According to the release, they confirm that the Aviation Minister's CV was in line with her claims, against what some media outfits have been writing in the last few days. They warned that the online news outlets Sahara Reporters and Premium Times should stop giving out false and malicious information that might lead to breakdown of law and order. Sahara reporters have already accepted misleading Nigerians and still refuse to apologize for their malicious allegations and frivolous claims.
cramjones: 1. In October 1st 2010, the first bomb blast went off in Abuja, MEND claimed responsibility..what was Jonathan's reply? - No it is not mend, I know those behind it. Subsequently, a MEND leader - Henry Okay was found guilty in a South African court for masterminding the bombing. Yes, Jonathan knew those behind it...it tells a lot!
2. Before Jonathan took over, Transparency international ranked Nigeria 121st/190 countries in corruption, today, under his watch we are now one of the most corrupt countries in the world ranking 141/170 countries surveyed.
3. According to OECD a United Nations arm, Nigeria will contain the 3rd largest population of poor people by 2015, which coincides to the expiration date of Jonathan's tenure. It simply means Jonathan regime has brought more poverty to the NIgerian people. The National Bureau of Statistics estimates this number to be about 100million! That is 4x the population of Ghana. The World Bank even estimates higher - 112million living in poverty!
4. Jonathan's regime has had the largest amount of billions and trillions missing. NNPC - $12 billion, Pensions - N25 Billion, Oil Subsidy - $8Billion, the list is endless.
5. Under Jonathan's watch interpol declared Nigeria as the Kidnap capital of the world. Never in our history have we had kidnaps so rampant as it is today. Everyone is looking for a buck!
6. Never in our history have we seen a president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria lying so blatantly on CNN, claiming that all Nigerians have light! Only for the same Nigerians to tell CNN "Mr President you lied".
7. Never in the history of Nigeria, even among the known corrupt presidents have a president made exconvicts elder states man, pardoning them and awarding several known crooks with National honors.
8. Never in our history have we had such a bad health system that no one trust our once trusted doctors and hospitals anymore!
9. Highest state of insecurity in our history...excluding the civil war
10. Education at all levels has been at its worst since Jonathan came to power. Never in the history of Nigeria have our education been this bad, from ASUU strikes, poor SSCEs etc.
you can say it again. I never voted for him and I will never. Nigeria needs to think. Anyways that's my opinion
