Nairaland GeneralGrudge To Bear: Who Do You Feel Like Slapping On The Nairaland Forum by ayomorocco(op): 7:28pm On Feb 05, 2007
Being a member of a forum, you come across and against different people from all walks of life. At Nairaland, majority of the people are Nigerians. It is inevitable that egos will clash and tempers will sometimes be frayed. Many people would have come across others whom they will loath, despise, pity or toward whom general negative feelings will be felt.

So Nairalanders, if given the chance, which fellow Nairalander will you gladly give the gift of a hot slap (or cold shoulder - if you abhor violence) because of their annoying/irritating/exasperating attitudes?

Let's have your views and why.

Apart from him , has any other striker currently playing in that league won the Ballon'dor ??I'm juss asking
Just so you know Hustler, Michael Owen currently plays for Newcastle (though he is presently injured) and he was the 2001 winner of the Ballon d'Or whilst playing for his former club Liverpool which is in the EPL.

Dr AyoMorroco, Mustay is one of our major comedians here on this board, so please take it easy with him as he's now under Loyika's protection!!
Thank you Kitaun.  I hope Mustay does not claim to be a professional comedian as he will probably starve to death. He can't tell a joke to save his life.

kitaun:
and he couldn't even make sense to save his miserable life . .
I can only agree with you Kitaun. Mustay cannot string together a complete sentence to save his bacon. I suspect he may have had some ogogoro before making his posting. @Mustay, keep off the cheap ogogoro stuff mate (at least upgrade to Smirnoff or Covoursier) and try not to do any more postings until you can at least be a little articulate (just a little - and this will make a BIG difference for you). Surely, that is not so much to ask.

Mustay:
@ayomoroco
why are u writing like this? What point are u really trying to bring out.
Mourinho's first season coaching chelsea?
Are u §ure of what u' sayin?

Chelsea losing some matches thereby makes Mourinho a loser who can only moan?
If na joke, na stupid joke. .
No matter how good a keeper peter schmeichel was, he stil made some silly mistakes 4 manure. I don't know when losing not up to 5 matches in more than 20 games has now become 'failure'. D topic is carlin' cup final not d comparing of the number of matches arsenal and chelsea 've both lost. . . . . . . . .
@Mustay, I will try to be brief in addressing you. This is what exhausts me about people like you lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed angry angry angry . An inability to decipher what has been written. If you took the time to read properly before firing your salvo, you'd have noted that the point I made was that this is NOT Mourinho's 1st season as the Chelsea coach.

Anyway I do not blame you as you seem to be suffering from double vision, as in your apparent haste to reprimand me, you posted the same thing twice.

I THINK U NEED TO GO TO SPECSAVERS MATE.
CelebritiesRe: Do U Think Shilpa Deserved To Win Celebrity Big Brother Instead Of Jermaine? by ayomorocco(f): 8:39pm On Feb 03, 2007
Shilpa definitely deserved to win over Jermaine. Jermaine was so busy trying to be liked, respected and purporting to play the one-sided peace-maker.

When the sh*t hit the fan, he did not stand up and be counted and that was a fundamental flaw which a lot of people saw. He found it easy to call the housemates to order when they wanted to gang up against Dirk, but he did no such thing on the numerous occasions Shilpa was bullied. If he had had a quiet word with Jade and the two remaining idiots that were her lapdogs, they would have backed off Shilpa. Sitting down and doing nothing when someone is being bullied/maltreated is as bad as being a perpetrator. I will not say as some people here in England say that just because Jermaine is black, he should have won. Dennis Rodman last year deserved it more than he did.

JERMAIN DID NOT DESERVE TO WIN and thank God he didn't.

And F.Y.I.

Despite my admiration for Kaka, I will pick Cristiano Ronaldo over him anytime (well at least in this present day and in his current form). And before any one jumps down my throat, let me state clearly that this is MY OPINION. We can't all have the same views (if we did, there won't be a need for a forum).
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Kaka: The Best Midfielder In The World by ayomorocco(f): 8:18pm On Feb 03, 2007
4 Play:
Is the Premiership the best league in the world?

Why don't all these Premiership midfielders go to Italy and Spain, lets see whether they will shine. The fact of the matter is Kaka has done it at the highest level,World Cup,Champions League. He does not need to go to the Premiership to prove his worth.
Why Premiership,why not Turkey?

The likes of Lampard,Scholes,Fabregas,Gerard, who dominate the Premiership haven't always shown what they can do at a higher level

The Serie A has provided us with the Champions League winners far more times than the Premiership and more importantly last year, provided us with the World champions. If kaka is shining in that league, that is a greater testament to his ability than he will get playing in the Premiership
All I can say to 4 Play is one word "SHEVCHENKO"
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Carling Cup Final: Arsenal Vs Chelsea by ayomorocco(f): 6:05pm On Feb 03, 2007
@ Akolawole. I see you quoted me earlier. May I ask what your point is?

Also in reply to the smart Alec who said Chelsea had not suffered any failures, Maybe you have forgotten that Chelsea got dumped out of the champions league last season. Or are you under the misconception that Maureen is coaching Chelsea for the first time this season. Moreover, I don't know if you have been following the premiership this season, but Chelsea has lost some games and all Maureen does is moan about not being allowed to buy more players or how other teams are capitalising on their defensive weaknesses. Many teams have suffered from having key players injured but they grit their teeth, bear it and plough ahead (esp. Newcastle, even Arsenal). Despite all the talent that he has at his fingertips, all Maureen can do is moan. He is nothing but a whinger and like I said before, I hope Chelsea wins zilch this season.

Hopefully Arsenal will win the Carling cup. GO ARSENAL.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Carling Cup Final: Arsenal Vs Chelsea by ayomorocco(f): 1:14am On Feb 02, 2007
UP G-U-N-N-E-R-S. Arsenal all the way. I hope chelsea win nada this season. Lets see what that arrogant non-entity of a coach called Mourinho will do with no silverware in one season. In typical fashion, instead of stepping up to the plate like a man and accepting responsibility for his failures, the scum ball is happy to blame everyone else but he will always take credit for victories.

ARSENAL TO WIN THE CARLING CUP.

COME ON A-R-S-E-N-A-L.
SportsRe: Williams Sisters Eclipsed? Where Are They? by ayomorocco(f): 5:11pm On Feb 01, 2007
I don't know about the digression from the topic lipsrsealed lipsrsealed lipsrsealed .

However as you all would have noticed/heard, Serena Won the 2007 Australia Open Tennis Championship some days ago. After a dissappointing year 2006 in which she was dogged by injury, she entered the competition unseeded and defeated No.1 Seed Maria Sharapova in an impressive show of her skills (6-1, 6-2). She is the only unseeded player since 1978 to claim the Australian title. She came into the competition as number 81 in the world rankings. However, her win will propell her to number 14.

She dedicated her win to her late sister Yetunde, who was shot dead in 2003. This is the first grand slam title she has won in 2 years.

2007 has started on a great note for Serena as it looks like she may be back to her winning ways. Hopefully, she can reclaim her crown as world number 1. Lets also hope that 2007 will also see her sister Venus at the top as well.

Did I hear anyone call her the COMEBACK KID?  cheesy grin wink

Sir Kay:
@ Radiant,

Today is Saturday quite alright, but ARSENAL vs MAN U match is slated for tomorrow, 4pm GMT, 5pm Naija time
@ Sir Kay, I can barely wait for the match tomorrow. Just hope Henry delivers some outstanding stuff. RVP seems injured.

Meanwhile the Chelsea V. Liverpool game starts in just under two hours. I hope to God that Liverpool rise to the occasion and beat the blue lights out of Chelsea [make them see red]. COME ON LIVERPOOL.

FYI for all u guys reading I am not a liverpool fan. I am an ARSENAL fan. I just don't want Chelsea walking off with the title this year.

Mr. Kitaun,

Thanks for the welcome. I have taken all advice on board and am glad you enjoyed the posting. Unfortunately, I don't know how to leave offliners on this site (I may be overlooking something). I didn't put my posting on any gunner threads because I felt that though it was a question posed about Thierry Henry, It involved all the high scoring strikers/ goalscorers of the different clubs.

Like I said before, I will endeavour to look for the appropriate threads to add my postings in future.

Oh! and F.Y.I., It's Miss ayomorocco, not Mrs (and by the grace of God soon to be Dr. in the not too distant future).

Thank you.

We are not talking myths and legends. We are talking about plain facts. A lot of people tend to hype their favourite candidates. What have these people done to be the best African player? Somebody please tell me.
