From my experience, you have to take both routes. Breeding in-house will guarantee piglets availability and bio-security in the long run. In the short term, you can buy piglets to raise to market size. Note piggery has a long gestation period to profitability and pls be careful on the partnership( e no concern me sha). |

Thanks to all the gurus in the house. I am indeed encouraged to start all over again. I invested in this business in this2011 but lost all due to inbreeding . At the peak, i had over again300 pigs that refuse to grow despite good feeding. I intend to start all over again soon with your encouragement. Don't be too far away. I will keep all posted. |
