I started to support Chelsea in late 2005, even at a young age I felt there was something wrong, I'm in the wrong place. The next year 2006 I watched a Man u match and switched to Man U immediately cus of how they played. Oh watching Ronaldo and Rooney was a joy, oh Ronaldo dribbling ruined Ashley Cole career. I denounced Chelsea immediately and I have never looked back, till date nothing irritates me more than watching Chelsea play and their supporters especially the supporters. They are the most aggressive fellows I have ever met, u just try to banter a Chelsea fan e will baff u with spit, if u keep arguing he can slap ur face. 2007 Alex Ferguson, Ronaldo. United were the best team in the world then..red is my best colour too, the passion grew and stayed on. Can't remember missing a united match the last decade, except during mourinhos boring defensive era.

Me too, except the Moyes and Lvg reigns though I watched the top 4 clashes (lvg) as that's when we usually played better. I didn't watch most of 2-3 seasons, sad times, boring football. Then Mourinho stepped in and hope came in one window and jumped out the other. Well Solksjaer after plenty problems seems to be doing alright.

My first introduction to football was on the streets of zone 4, only God knows how many beatings and "lockdowns" I experienced then for going out illegally to play ball come back dirty and sweaty come still dey lie say I no go play ball undecided.... I started playing FIFA on PS1 then and my favorite team, I'll call them my crush, was AC Milan. What a team! better cheat mode that year but as I no dey watch them play weekly it wasn't that hard to fall in love with the beautiful "babe" that was Real Madrid.
I first watched them in the final against Bayern Leverkusen in 2002. I was watching with an older relative and we were supporting opposite sides. As a kid then I categorically stated that Madrid would win and this my cousin just laughed at me, that just made me vehemently support them even more, even when Leverkusen scored and d mockery got worse undecided well Madrid won with the goal by Zidane a masterpiece, just imagine seeing that as a child shocked I was hooked.
Well d Madrid post then was good but.... Alas the relationship stalled as we didn't get to see much of each other.
And then I remember walking into a viewing center a pure neutral at the time (even though I had a soft spot for Arsenal because of Kanu) to watch Manchester United take on Arsenal who were on a 49 games unbeaten run. Guess I fell madly in love with United as a club that day (thank you Jesus for not letting me marry d wrong club wink) I didn't realize when I started stalking, watching and following her around on the internet like a lost puppy. I've had lots of highs and years of lows (yes I'm looking at you Moyes, Lvg and Moanriho wink) well in walked Solksjaer and I'm loving it right now. This is my ride or die team now. For better, for worse literally grin GGMU.

I actually pace myself sometimes a tiny can be smoked like twice or thrice, everything done in moderation. EPISODE 25

I walked back to my bed
and sat down
immediately Sharon and
Sylvia left my room. I
took the book Sylvia gave me
and opened to the page that
highlighted step by step
guideline on how to speak
confidently in a large crowd.
After reading for a while, I
took a pen and write down
some tips. I used the next 4
hours to prepare the speech I
would deliver in the event my
department is organising. I
finally slept off by 1:15am.

I woke up exactly 5:30am. I
quickly prepared for lecture.
my first lecture for the day
was by 8:am. so I have to leave
home early in order to get to
school on time. I had
breakfast and left home exactly
7:am.

I got to the class our first
lecture was holding and settle
down. the class was almost
filled up when I get there. the
lecturer walked into the class
few minutes later and went
straight to the business of the
day.

immediately after lecture,
Sylvia walked to me and sat
beside me

"hi Christian" she said
immediately.

"hi Sylvia. how are you?" I
asked

"I'm fine and you?" she asked

"I'm fine too" I responded

"I hope you had a great night"
she said

"yes" I responded

"and I hope you had enough
time to prepare your speech"
she said.

I didn't respond this time. I
only stared at her. I still don't
know why I always get scared
at the mention of that word
'speech'

"are you not prepared for it
yet?" she asked

"I don't just know if I'm
prepared or not. I'm still very
scared" I responded.

"don't worry, you will
overcome your fear. just keep
working on it" she said

"thank you very much Sylvia."
I said

"do you have any other thing
to do now?" she asked.

"no, why do you ask?" I asked

"I want us to have our
discussion now" she said.

"okay, I'm ready" I responded.

"not here. let's look for an
empty class where we can be
alone." she said

"okay" I responded.

we stood up and left the class.
we located an empty class and
sat on the seat at the back. we
sat quietly for a while. I
decided to speak when she
wouldn't speak.

"Sylvia, we are here now. let's
start the discussion" I said

she turned to face me and
stared into my eyes. I stared
back at her.

"Christian" she called softly.

"yes Sylvia" I responded

"have you ever fallen in love?"
she asked

I froze immediately. I never
expected such question from
her.

"I........ I......... I...... " I couldn't
say anything. I didn't even
know what to reply her.

"Christian you know we don't
hide things from each other.
so you can talk to me" she
said.

I took a deep breath.

"the truth is, I have come in
contact with a lot of nice ladies
that I love and would love to
spend the rest of my life with,
but due to my shy nature, I
couldn't approach them and I
lost them all" I responded.

"aside from the tutorial, do
you and Sharon have any
other thing together. are you
dating her, or intend to date
her?" she asked and stared
curiously at me, waiting for an
answer

I couldn't respond. I seemed
not to understand why she was
asking all these questions.
Sharon too, asked me same
question some days back.

"Christian please answer the
question" she said when I
didn't respond.

"I'm not dating her" I finally
responded.

"that means your relationship
with her is strictly based on
student and tutor relationship"
she said

"yes" I responded

she heaved a sigh of relief.

"if you find out that someone
love you dearly and is ready to
do anything for you, what will
you do?" she asked.

I really didn't know why she
was asking all these questions ,
but I just have to answer her
question from my heart.

"if I realized someone love me
for real, I will make sure I
never let her go" I responded.

Her face curved in a smile
immediately I said that.

"okay Christian, there's
something I want to tell you"
she said and stared at me with
seriousness.

"what's it?" I asked

"Christian I really don't know
if I should say this. it's not
proper for a lady to say this to
a guy in this part of the world.
I just have to say it in order
not to regret later." she paused
and stared deeply into my
eyes.

"Christian I.........." she paused
immediately she heard the
vibration of my phone.

"you have a call" she said.

I brought out my phone and
stared at the screen. I picked
the call when I realized it was
from Sharon.

"hello Sharon." I said

"Christian where are you? can
you please come to the faculty
garden. I have something
important to tell you" she said
immediately.

"what is it?" I asked

"just come to the faculty
garden and please be fast" she
said.

"okay, I'm coming" I
responded and ended the call.

I turned to face Sylvia and saw
her already staring curiously
at me.

"what happened?" she asked

"Sharon said I should meet her
at the faculty garden right
now" I responded

"I hope there's no problem?"
she asked.

"I don't think there is a
problem. maybe she has a
message for me from a
lecturer. and I think it very
urgent." I responded.

"okay you can go and meet
her" she said.

"okay thanks" I responded.

I stood up immediately and
rushed to the faculty garden.
I saw Sharon standing beside a
tree when I got to the garden.
Sharon seemed to be the only
one in the garden. I didn't see
any other person when I got
there. she smiled when she
saw me and beckoned me to
come. I walked to her and
stood beside her.

"Sharon I hope there's no
problem" I said immediately.

"not at all dear" she
responded.

"you said you have something
important to tell me. what is
it?" I asked

"yes I have something to tell
you." she said and stared into
my eyes.

"do you have a girlfriend?" she
asked.

not this question again. I
thought

"no" I answered immediately

"I actually want to.........." she
paused immediately.

something seemed to have
distracted her from speaking
further. she fixed her gaze at a
particular direction. I was sure
she was looking at what
distracted her from speaking
further. I tried to look at what
distracted her but she
immediately wrapped her
hands around my neck and
planted a kiss on my lip. I
froze immediately. I never
expected such from her. saying
I was shocked, was an
understatement. she freed me
and smile. I slowly turned to
the direction she was staring at
to see Sylvia staring at us in
shock. then it occurred to me
that she actually did that
because she saw Sylvia
coming.
I stared at Sylvia and she
stared back at me with teary
eyes. she turned immediately
and ran out of the garden.
I knew at that moment that I
have lot of explanation to do.
that's if she even listen

sirfee, there is high possiblity that JM will leave Old Trafford soon. When even he starts whining, know there is a problem. If PSG fails to lift the Champions League, Emery will be fired and JM might move to France.

Signing 2-3 players is not the problem. Tactics is. Mou failed to adapt and it's haunting him. I'm getting worried and agitated by the day. This same set of players were the same ones on the winning streak. Something happened and Mou needs to figure out quickly.

As to him leaving who could be contenders to take over? Personally I'd take pochettino. Mourinho is a very good tactician and assuming he has lost it is a bit premature. I don't think he trusts the players he has available in most positions, hence his safety first conservatism. Give him the right tools and watch him rip the PL apart

Thanks. I guess central midfield, winger and wondering why we didn't go for fabinho last summer? But all these are targets who won't move or would attract astronomical fees in order to prise them from their respective clubs mid season, if you're going for those with sufficient quality. With Mourinho's track record, make d money available and he'll get u quality, guess the glazers have been bitten once too often ( moyes, LVG).

Inasmuch we are 12 points behind city, i still think our manager's approach to some games is what seems to be our greatest undoing this season. Our squad is decent enough.

I agree with you that our manager is a tad too conservative for my liking, but I also think the squad is overachieving as it is. With key additions over d transfer windows if backed financially Mourinho can be given the Chan to properly challenge city using the right tools.

Sports / Ayti's POV: Manchester United Vs Burnley by aytigidz433(m): 5:03am On Dec 27, 2017
We welcomed Burnley to Old Trafford on boxing day, and it turned out to be an occasion for giving gifts away. Santa really went to town on these ones, first a third minute goal mouth scramble fired in by Barnes after a botched clearance, followed by a delicious free kick by Defour in the 36th minute. Burnley went into the break two nil up, giving credence to their bid for a European spot. Manchester United must have been reeling having been dealt these blows and two substitutions at the beginning of the second half changed the games complexion, as Mhikitaryan and Jesse Lingard replaced Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rojo respectively. The tide changed visibly with United bossing it right from the restart, substitute Lingard scored his first with a delightfully flicked back heel, (oh my God but can he score the hard goals?!) and his second came in the first minute of added time with a volley into the bottom corner.
It would be fair to say that we deserved the point and more as reward for our Jekyll and Hyde performance, choose who you will. However dropping another two points didn't do us any favours in a title race which seems conclusively over, the fact made even more painful due to the dropped points at the Kings power stadium, where we were undone by a last minute equaliser.
Lingard was my man of the match bringing much pace and aggression into our play, his well taken goals were a boost for a player who is having the season of his career so far. A good run in the first team has done him a world of good, and performances like this will only serve to cement his standing even further. He is also a very willing worker who does a good job of tracking and closing down passing lanes from the front.
Young was just behind him in terms of contribution, almost bagging two assists and putting in some delicious crosses which were not properly dispatched.
Mata was given room to work his magic, roaming into dangerous spaces, orchestrating things in tandem with the two substitutes. However the final balls and finishing was lacking from a player who got two goals in the last match.
Luke Shaw should definitely start on the left in the absence of Valencia, leaving Ashley Young to play on the right. He provided width on the left putting in some nice crosses or at least winning some corners and generally bombing up and down his area of the pitch. I wouldn't have missed Young even if he was not on the other side causing havoc. I definitely think Shaw's performances has elevated him above Blind and Darmian in the pecking order.
The midfield pairing of Pogba and Matic did a great job in the middle of the pitch. Pogba had a good game getting a few shots away on goal, including one which just went wide in the first half, and a free kick which didn't dip on time. He tackled and pulled off pieces of skill from a seemingly bottomless bag of tricks. Matic on the other hand was the more conservative half in this partnership, mopping up in front of the defence and behind Pogba, playing in defence with the change in formation second half, and still finding the energy to drive forward.
Don't get me wrong, highlighting these stand out performers doesn't mean we didn't just throw away two points, and it could have been worse. But there is a marked difference between this and last season, one that will most likely be judged inconsequential in the face of Manchester City's juggernaut like run. Mourinho has asked for backing in the transfer market, and I feel he should be backed completely over the next two windows so we can bring in players of the requisite quality to hopefully contest for the league next term. Next we host Southampton hoping we can sign out with a win to end the year.
