obijack: Am not sure what dish size you should use to track Badr, but make sure you use the frequency of Abu dhabi's 11804H or preferably KTV's 12523H. They are the strongest Tps I use to track with 90. |

prince paris: KBC1, family & k24 are part of the NSS12, which replaced NSS703 @ 57E. NSS703 had only C band channels like ETV Ethiopia, Tele Chad and VOA, now it adds ku bands for East africa and middle east regions. check it out on http://www.flysat.com/nss12. and http://www.flysat.com/nss12-beam.php |

@all How are you all doing? I just want to thank all the great contributors of the forum; twinstaiye, olofofo, George_D, enitan, pitodenz, badaru, Gangsta101, baba_egun, salamander, jujukemist, adewest, Nash-FTA, sayso and others. Few recommendations on the upcoming sub forum 1. Please also add a page that helps to track common birds with strong signal strength and SR stated. Like olason did on the first post of page 162 https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-242036.5152.html 2. For Transponder and channel updates a new page should be created and handle related issues. 3. For soccer stuffs also (what mach will be shown on what) new page should be created. Keep up the good work |

enitan2002: Hello all, I have been waiting for your explanation on how it's posible to watch different polarisation of one LNB at the same time. Even you didn't explain in detail how you use your two decoders for different polarisations. Am asking this is because I've been facing similar problem. I couldn't access more than one polarity of one LNB at a time. Here is what I did; I connect the lines coming from the LNBs to the Disq switch, then use signal splitter to each decoders. Please correct me if i make a mistake. Thanks in Advance |

@All As I was advised earlier; looping through one decoder didn’t solved my problem. Am still not able to watch channels of the same polarity of different Birds. For clarity, I connect Disq switch From the LNBs; since I have 2 receivers then I use signal splitter, and connect each decoders at two ends. Now I start facing difficulty of accessing more than one polarity. (I know I can’t access different polarity of one bird at a time.) If is there any way to resolve this case, please forward. As an info, @BADR4,6 • for supporters of Man Utd Club (MUTV) is @ AbuDhabi Sport 1&2, every morning. • Delayed games of Chealsea, MU, Barca, Bayrn Munich (from club TVs) @nessma • For Bundes liga, @Dubai Sports 1& 2 • Scotish league and some others @ KTV3 & KTV 3 Plus @Intel 906; StarTV transmits most of the interesting sport events from Setanta Africa. |

If so please post the Equivalent amount in USD. Thanks in advance |

@ Ecowas4All, baba_egun Thanks a lot for responding… &it’s good to hear that you like Addis and Nairobi …., According to “Ecowas4All” info, the signal splitter should be removed and I should loop from either of the decoder, in order to access both locations once. I’ll try that tomorrow and bring result here. About ETV, it’s ETV Ethiopia; they actually transmit EPL, La Liga, and Champions League FTA matches. Sometimes tournaments like World Cup, CAN, and Athletics Champions &… are transmitted… |

@All I’ve been following this tread starting from the 15th page of season 1; Thanks to all of the contributors, you all gave me an important lesson over the past months. Initially I had no idea on how to track a given satellite, but now from the information I gathered from the forum I manage to track two satellites, and plans to add another one soon. As mentioned in season two I bought all the necessary equipments and a signal finder. Then start tracking badr@26, On my 1.8M dish; I swear to God it only took me 20 minutes. Then I start tracking Intelsat906 with another 1.8m, this one took a longer time, but latter I realized that in order to notice the change (while moving the dish), the signal needs a second or two (to shoot up). Therefore I start moving the dish slowly noticing the change every step… After 2 hours of tracking, I finally hunt the bird. The final work is connecting the two dishes to different inputs of the DiSEq switch, and since I have two decoders; I attach a signal splitter. Finished searching all channels on each decoder and that was all. But then I face difficulty; which is whenever I want to watch two channels of different polarity, specially (different polarity from different satellites) the signal brakes and shows, “no signal, check cables…”. Initially when I used the badr only (when I try MBC and Dubai sport), I thought it was not possible, since the source is one lnb; But even when using two different LNBs, the problem still exists. My Decoders are HUMAX IR ACE II and EUROSTAR777. Please help me on how to resolve this problem. Thanks in Advance |

Hello Guys, My name is Ayelgn, Am from East Africa, Ethiopia. I was browsing the net and I found this forum in OCT 07… I go through all the sixteen pages and am amazed on what you are doing. @4QU29T The software you directed us is I think the best; it gives all the information needed to setup any satellites… It gives a satellite and its channel(s) when you feed your location… Also if you feed your location and dish size, it’ll give you list of positions or available signal… It really is awesome! With the exception of updating current database. It asks for Registration code, which I couldn’t find… After all it is helpful. @Tushman On one of your post you mention that you receive ait… and 12 ethiopian channels…, Please send me info on what is the sat, channels, frequency and related stuffs. You all are doing well, Keep it up … Have a great day! |
