Ronards: Hhhmmmm........ I don't even know how to start.
I give all glory to the almighty God, there surely is a God in heaven.
Towards the end of 2016, I looked at my kids n suddenly became scared for their future in this country. Spoke with my hubby n his reply was, "ki lawa fese bayi? Let's just be prayerful ". Hhhmmmm....... I don't think this man understands what I'm talking about. I lost hope for this country (sorry to say). We started praying " God, please have mercy on my family n do that which only u can do".
December 2016, I suddenly got a call from a family friend who I haven't spoken with for almost five years. He's a Canadian citizens based in Manitoba. He said n I quote " se Nigeria to wa yen oti su e ni?" I replied "haaaa, oti su mi ooo but what can I do? " Then he asked if I won't mind Canada n that was it ooooo (really at that point, all I wanted was to leave this s******e of a country)
That same December, I applied for international passport. I didn't get it until January 2017
April 2017, I wrote ielts LRWS: 7.5,7.5,6.5,7.5 Too low for direct Express Entry Told me I have to go through PNP What did I know? I was like anyhow, kin sa ti dey Canada.
So the journey to PNP started. Applied for Wes ECA n my transcript from OOU In May. OOU showed me pepper oooo didn't get transcript until August. To verify again took another one month. Finally I got ECA n CxC evaluation in October 2017
Fast forward February 2018 after ITA we started looking for POF. Chai..... we suffer small ooooo I contemplated declining several times but my family friend was like if you decline, u are on ur own ooooo, he'll just take his hands of my application Kamari!!! The struggle continued. Finally God helped us n we were able to sell off our landed property which led to bulk transfer of cash into our account.
Now na LOE we started to google how to write Loe n that was how I came across this wonderful thread with amazing people n large hearts (God bless u all) I copied my LOE from this thread can't remember the part n the name of the good person that posted it but it was in a tabular form. We prayed n fasted before we finally submitted our application im May 2018.
So house, here it is

Hello House, I am here with a proposal to connect everyone in the 400-437 who are looking forward to get their education evaluation to two or more degrees through ACCA & CIMA. Do you guys think we can open up a different thread to connect all of us to be on the same page on the topic? or we can stay in this group and discuss in the midst of all the topic? Anyway, if anyone of you reading this is taking ACCA this month, pls raise your hand. we are looking forward to your feedback from here on |

Elfmannisback: AyubAlam won't still believe. I guess all depends on the actual equivalence which the people in this forum will receive after completion of F1-F3, and not what I believe or not We still have an unsolved part of the puzzle which is to know whether the people who got one semester equivalence has done this Foundations in Professionalism module (FiP) or not. Hope we can reach at the root of this issue soon. |

bday: Hello House,
Congrats to all ITA Choppers! it is well with you. Based on the information here, i decided to submit my ACCA Diploma in Accounting and Business (F1- F3, I had exemption in F1) to WES for evaluation. My evaluation came out as college-level certificate (one semester) and i contested it but they still said its correct. I am now trying to look for alternatives to improve my CRS score after maxing out IELTS because that is not eligible for Two or more degrees. Any suggestions would be deeply appreciated. Hi @bday Did you also complete the Foundations in Professionalism module (FiP) besides F2-F3? Pls let us know cause we are thinking that without its completion WES probably wont consider it as one year equivalence rather one semester which you have received. I hope your reply will shed some light on the development of this issue. Thank you and waiting for your valuable reply here. |

HotChoco2: So I sent an email to ACCA to enquire about what the equivalence of F1-F3 + Foundation in Professionalism Module is and below is an excerpt of the mail I received:
The Diploma in Accounting and Business (F1-F3 and the Foundations in Professionalism Module) is equivalent in level to year one of a UK Bachelor degree.
I am still going ahead with ACCA (because I'm technically out of options) and I'm hopeful that WES will evaluate it as 1 year diploma.
So help me God! Hey, best of luck to your evaluation. When is your exam? Hope you will pass it sweetly and get one year evaluation too. WES has been really unpredictable these days changing it to one semester was worst. |

flosk: There is a cima qualification called
Cima certificate in business accounting. 4 papers cbt mode
Wes evaluates it as one year college certificate.
Another alternative to Acca. This is indeed a very nice development. Yes we should investigate more on CIMA. Can you pls pls ask that person the below questions so that we can either keep CIMA a route to get 2 or more degrees CRS score or erase it out of our potential lists of boosting our CRS?? Q1:- When did his wife got CIMA evaluated as one year college certificate? Q2:- How long did it take after she sat for the exam to get the WES evaluation & how did she sent the results to the WES from CIMA? Q3:- How long did it take her to prepare for the exam? & if a general guy without any Accounting background take the exam how long can it take for him to pass the exam? Q4:- Did she take only the BA1-BA4 modules or also the other modules too? Q5:- Finally pls ask him to share a screenshot of the WES evaluation so that we can confidently start our preparation? Pls ask him the questions and tell him that his asnwers can help many many people out here to stop worrying and genuinely work for their Canadian dream. Honestly after ACCA debacle by WES, everything is so uncertain. We really need a ray of hope to get pass this barrier. We will wait for your reply on the queries. Thanks |

mcstan18: F1-F3 is what fetches one a diploma in accounting and business BUt WES is not issuing one year to the Diploma in accounting and business certification. this is really pathetic |

adaifx: Really don't know what to do now, I am at 410 was hoping on using this ACCA F1-F3 to get more points I have even registered for the exams. After seeing that it is evaluated as one semester, the zeal of preparing for the exams has left me Hey, as you already have registered and already preparing for the exam, pls pass the exam and get your evaluation from WES. Can you tell us when is your exam? Also, is it possible for you to give F4 too? I mean if F1-F9 is fetching 3-4 years Bachelors equivalence then for 1 year even if 3 papers is not enough to get one year then adding another paper might be. you can research the idea too and as you are already taking 3 you can add another one and see whether evaluating F1-F4 gives you the one year equivalence or not. I guess there is nothing to lose any more. I wish you the best of luck and pls do keep posting about the progress. thanks |

HotChoco2: I thought I read that the people that got the 1 semester evaluation had exemptions. Kindly correct me if I'm wrong. In Nairaland, yes there was someone who did 2 papers and got evaluated as one semester and there were another case in a separate platform that I came across where someone has said that although he has done all the 3 papers he got the same evaluation as one semester and he wrote to WES to change it. I ll share the outcome once I know it in the coming week. |

Ethelia: I don't even know where to start attempting to catchup on this thread.......
On the whole IDP/BC matter, I think I remember the reason people started going to IDP was because of the same reports of negative results/remarks from BC, now its the same with IDP. It is well.
Has anyone tried evaluating the F1-F3 with IQAS? Maybe they will give a favorable evaluation
Una weldone I have wrote to ICES, ICAS, IQAS and CES. Not a single one of them evaluate professional degrees such as ACCA. Its WES only but recently two people got one semester equivalent for F1-F3 so probably WES has changed their evaluation criteria for ACCA. |

smslive2: The issue about this thing is that some people on this thread have said they either got positive evaluation or know someone who got it but whn you ask them to show proof, they just simply ignore. Personally, i believe one will get positive evaluation if you do all 3 papers. @pikipiki and @wale006 and others who have had positive response, if you guys can show proof and advice others, dont you think it would be great? This is the only proof we have so far on ACCA F1-F3 Positive Evaluation Proof for Diploma and Positive Evaluation for Advanced Diploma the problem is most probably WES, yes WES destroyed me once by giving me inaccurate evaluation results for which I missed my OINP NOI. And now this is happening again. Recently, I came across two people who was complaining that even after completing F1,F2 and F3 they got one semester evaluation from WES. However, in the past we have seen many got one year completion out of ACCA. Now, whether WES has changed their evaluation of ACCA from one year to one semester? most probably thats the case. |

Hello Everyone,
We just got to know yesterday that a person from this forum got his ACCA[F1(exempted,F2, and F3] evaluated as completion of college certificate(one semester), so according to this it wont be possible to get two or more degrees and claim points for the same in EE if you are taking ACCA(f1-F3). Also note that I meet a guy in some other forum where he has given F1,F2 and F3 and still he has received the same evaluation on one semester.
So, if you want to prepare then you can prepare for ACCA but as a well-wisher I would like to request you to hold on the registration for ACCA tilll we know the outcome of this scenario which I think we should know within a week as they have already written to WES who has yet to reply with an explanation for the changes. |

Or was it written in your certificate that ACCA has sent to WES that all F1 ,F2 , F3 was completed with proper transcript sending? You can check with ACCA in details regarding it pls and do let us know. There are people like you whose F1 was exempted and he got positive WES Evaluation. Also when did you write to Wes about this wrong ECA evaluation? |

softseun: #ACCA - I don't even have an accounting/Biz Admin background, so now i have to go invest 6 months in one ACCA. I hope at the end by the time its done WES wouldn't have change their mind of the evaluation outcome.
I tire abeg.
Someone find another shortcut . IELTS will expire after 8 Months. If you try harder maybe you might able to pass it by 4 months Sorry but I have searched all the ways to get quick CRS collection, from TEF to Masters but it seems like ACCA is the best way. So, you better try to ace it asap. IELTS rewriting for CLB 10 is a big gamble. & relax, I do not think that WES will change the evaluation outcome for now but yes CIC can change their rules as they have been quite unexpected in an unexpected and tragic way for us. |

Hello wonderful people, I guess after yesterday a lot of people is inspired to start ACCA. So, the next question to the experts are what could be the best resources online to go with self study? We heard about opentuition.com but is there any other websites or books that could help us to prepare for ACCA(F1-F3)? I heard doing past papers over and over again will incredibly increase ones chance to pass ACCA. So, if someone can also share the links to download past papers for the F1,F2,F3 it will help all of us for sure. Thank you everyone |

DboyizGood: This your QUESHON sha...lol
I have BSc accounting, I also have ICAN ACA
I am doing this only for this journey and I don't plan on doing any other paper. Just go and F2 and F3 while you claim exemption for F1.
I have paid these exam bodies all the dues I owe them o...make i pay myself too na
Gracias Thank you for your reply. For this WES evaluation of "Completion of a college level certificate', what are the documents that you have arranged to send to WES? I mean can there be any chance that your ICAN ACA or your part of your bachelors played a role in giving you this evaluation by any chance? What do you feel about this? & when did you receive the evaluation from WES that you have shared with us here? Thanks for your reply and best of luck with your journey |
Travel › Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program- Connect Here Part 4 by AyubAlam: 5:30pm On May 20, 2018 |
DboyizGood: For all of us considering ACCA F1-F3 pls go ahead.
This proof you see here is for F2 and F3 as exemption was claimed for F1. So if your degree permits you to claim exemption, pls claim for F1 only bcs if you claim for more than that, you will not get a positive evaluation but if your degree does not qualify you for exemption do F1-F3. 6 months intensive can make this happen for you.
Oya make una go read una book. The exam is not as easy as it sounds oo but it's very doable. This one sure pass TEF or any other degree program o.
See ECA screen grab below
Gracias Congrats on your positive evaluation by WES on your ACCA Diploma. btw, did you only complete F1-F3 in ACCA? or are doing other papers too? & what is your other Bachelors/Diploma of 3 or 4 years that WES gave you evaluation on? Thanks |

mcstan18: But they already have the info they need to make a move. People just want to be spoonfed with micro details. Hello Sir, Actually I have been let down big by WES once as they have given me Diploma-3 years mistakenly for my Bachelors- 3 years, later they have corrected it but I lost my OINP noi 45 days deadline for that as without Bachelors once cant apply I am kind of very scared to take a move by starting ACCA now without being 100% sure that I will get the 1 year Diploma equivalence for it. I am very scared as you can understand my situation . So, if i can have the screenshot of the WES ECA, then I can have something to back me up and start ACCA with full motivation. So, you and anyone has achieved the result, pls share it here or through email. It will help a lot Sir, thanks |

dumsydsassy1: 1. Yes you are to take the knowledge exams(F1-F3) 2. Yes you will pay registration fees. Subscription is fee is free for the first year. You can PM for a number of a staff in ACCA Lagos office, he will advice you accordingly, how to pay and where to pay. They have a fixed cost for pounds, so instead of using your. Debit card and getting charged N500+ per pound, their fixed cost is £415-425 can’t remember now. 3.Yes. The knowledge exams are computer based and BC is in charge of that one. 4. Register at www.opentuition.com. Download the notes and follow the lecture videos on YouTube. You will also need to buy the approved current exam kit to prepare. 5. I think someone mentioned earlier in the thread that it CAN be used. When you successfully pass the 3, request for your diploma certificate and then request ACCA to send the transcripts to WES-it’s free. 6. I think about N34,500. You can reconfirm from BC website. HI, Have you done ACCA(F1-F3) and got positively graded by WES? If you can just share the screenshot of the eca results of any who does? I am under a very big dilemma whether I should pursue ACCA or not cause if its graded as one year Diploma then its fine or else I will be in big trouble of losing my money and time It will be of great help if you can let me know about whether taking ACCA(f1-f3) is 100% safe or not? thanks Sir and will wait for your reply here. |

Hi Friends,
I read earlier that someone did ACCA(F1-F3) papers and got the additional points for two or more degrees for express entry by getting evaluated as "Completion of College Level Certificate (1 year)", so can anyone of you please let me know whether you have achieved the same?
Please help me with this as I am also thinking about taking this course. Your help will be appreciated. Thank you so much. |
