How do I configure UltraVPN to work with my MTN data connection. I really need to use utorrent but MTN doesnt allow d downloads to finish |
Fhemmmy:For how much does the quench go for? and what about fairly used android fones? do u have any in stock? thanks |
Slyr0x:whats the difference between open VPN and Ultra VPN. which is better? |
Hi Fhemmy, can u recommend a good android phone for me with a price below 50k. Also for how much can I get a Nokia X6-16gb within Nigeria? Thanks |
pple abeg, whats d price of Nokia X6-16gb in Lagos? Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on the price? |
Pls I need some advice. I'm using MTN's night plan and it looks the have blocked the use of torrent clients because even though ports are forwarded and all that, i can't download any torrent files completely. it get to a point and says access to file has been denied. This happens with different torrent files from different sites. Does anyone know a way around this? Also, does anyone know how to sidetrack the 3gb limit on MTN's data plan? thanks |
does anyone know how much x6- 16gb is in lag? i'm considering buying it but i'm also looking at android fones so if any one knows of an android fone below 50k, please share d info |
Have u heard about MTN's new tariff plans? That funlink make sense sha and d bundle @ 1500 a month for 60mb data, 50mins MTN2MTN calls and free text. I think I like! ![]() |
Correct me if I'm wrong, if I have a 3g capable fone and I'm on the MTN network, I don't need to buy a modem to make use of their 3g services abi? I can just load credit on my fone and dial in the code the hook up my fone via pc suite or joiku spot and voila, right? or I can even use the data straight on my fone, abi? |
But What of data limits? With MTN's limit of 3gb a month when I fit finish am in one day. Any sideways path for that one? ![]() |
I've been to Covenant University in Ota. That place is neat o.
|
WTF! I cant see any of the posts i've made on this thread. |
Here we go again! BB Bashers vs BB Fanatics! |
Shuo!!! See Beef o! because dem go private school, graduate with 1st class u think they r worthless. Well the companies that are snatching them up in dozens don't seem to think so. ![]() |
maistylz:The N900 doesn't have a considerable price, no matter where you go ![]() |
[n3rve:We don't hate BB (at least, I don't). Matter of fact if you dash me one, I would gladly collect it and start to form like everyone else. What I hate is people who spend so much to get the phone and end up doing nothing with it but answering calls and messaging . Also if I had to spend my money to get a phone, it wouldn't be a blackberry simply because I prefer the alternatives. |
So no one here has got ngage running on his E Series device (preferably e63 or e71)? |
Vquest:the list is a roadom arrangement not according to preference. I think there is still hope for nokia, despite their recent poor performances, plus i heard that they will start putting meego on their high end devices and move symbian down to mid range devices: http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/23/nokia-n8-to-be-final-symbian-device-in-n-series-all-meego-from/ As for Blackberry, for their current generation of phones, i believe that their build quality is good but the OS is crappy and needs help. You know what I think? Our telecom companies should start introducing contract packages for all high range mobile fones just like they have done with blackberry. Imagine MTN selling the google nexus one or the iPhone with data plans and tariff benefits. I think this might stop all the BB hating if others had their own data plans on their smartphones of choice. |

Do we always have to bring this "I hate Blackberry vs I love Blackberry" arguments to every thread that the Phone is mentioned in? It's becoming a little tiring to open a topic and once a person mentions that he loves blackberry another comes up with a contrary opinion and we start all over again. It's like some people search Nairaland for any thread mentioning Blackberry and just comment on all of them. Even me that I don't like them, I'm beginning to pity them.![]() Anyways, my top ten smartphones for 2010 (both released and unreleased) are in no particular order: 1. Nokia N8 2. Motorola Droid X 3. Dell Streak 4. Dell Lightning 5. HTC Incredible 6. HTC EVO 4G 7. Nokia N900 8. Google Nexus One 9. Nokia E72 10. iPhone 4 (grudgingly qualifies) |
aieromon:Abeg I don confuse! where dem dey input handler and how do you dload with the thing? Pls any instruction will be helpful. |
texazzpete:That phone is just a beast! I'm sure when windows phone 7 comes out, homies won't hesitate to make it run on the n900 |
aieromon:Thanks! will try them out to see which works best for me |
Hello guys! Can anyone recommend a good mobile download manager, my opera mini 5 is acting funny when i try to download large files. |
I've not used ucweb before though I heard good things about it. From what i've seen and used, i would recommed opera mobile 10 or opera mini 5 because of it's flawless performance on a wide range of phones. Even though it doesn't support streaming media and some plugins, the little that it can do, it does without any problems. If however u want a complete browsing experience on a mobile platform, i suggest u get a nokia n900. The inbuilt browser is the closest u will get to the experience of browsing on a pc |
For some strange reason, i cant watch videos on my nokia e63 with bolt 2.2, after configuring video playback, whenever I try to watch videos from youtube and such sites, it launches the fones own browser and tries to connect to the site. Also logging in to websites with accounts like facebook and yahoo is slow and crappy. Even scrolling pages is terrible. These guys have a long way to go if they want to catch up with opera. I think even skyfire is better (for the short while that it worked on my fone) |
@sojioguns, where did u get that from? Does it actually emulate the blackberry os or just applications made for blackberry fones? |
