It is narrated that, The Prophet (SAW) said, "Allah loves sneezing but dislikes yawning; so if anyone of you sneezes and then praises Allah, every Muslim who hears him (praising Allah) has to say Tashmit to him.But as regards yawning,it is from Satan, so if one of you yawns, he should try his best to stop it,for when anyone of you yawns, Satan laughs at him."

Almighty Allah says:
"Surely Allah and His Angels send blessings on the Holy Prophet (Sall Allahu ‘alaihi wa Salim). O you who believe! Send Blessings (Durood) and Salutations (Salaams) on the Prophet with worthy Salutation".
(Surah al-Ahzab: 56)

Hazrat Abdullah ibn Mas’ud (radi Allahu anhu) also narrates that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah (Sall Allahu ‘alaihi wa Salim) said:
"On the Day of Qiyamah(Resurrection), the closest to me from among the people will be those who have read the most amount of Durood Shareef".

It is narrated that, Allah’s Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) was asked:" who are the best of people? "
He (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) replied: “the one with a clean heart and truthful tongue.”
They asked: ‘We understand a truthful tongue, but what does a clean heart mean?’,
he (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) answered:“It is the heart of one that is pious, pure, and is free of sin, transgressions, hatred and Hasad(envy).”

Narrated by Hazrat Ibn 'Umar (RA) The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
All the sins of my followers will be forgiven except those which are disclosed to the people.
For example a person commits a sin at night and though Allah screens it from the public, in the morning he says. "O so-and-so, I did such-and-such evil deed"

Azzarudin, honestly i don't understand. How can u arrange to meet someone you have not meet?
Assalamualaikum,

Sorry sis for not being very descriptive. I will give you an example how things work in my place. When the parents think its time for their son/daughter to get married, they start searching for a bride/groom. They spread the word to family members, colleagues, friends etc. Then by word someone will bring a proposal to the parents. They enquire about the bride/groom, about the job, manners, family etc. Then if it seem compatible the parents and the elders meet up. Then if both parties agree the guy and the girl met by the parents. Then the guy and the girl meet up with their parents. They will be let to have a chat privately. Then if all is well the elders meet up and the date of Nikkah is fixed.

You might be thinkin how in the world will one choose a life partner with just a few meetings. Well i have seen a lot of marraiges done after 'dating' break up. And I ve seen very few arranged marriages ending up in divorce. Do you know why? Its coz when 'dating' the couple show their best charecters to each other, the truth won't be known until marriage. As ify already mentioned during 'dating' both the couple will be blind with love and not realistic.

Next you might be thinking how will one trust a stranger to get married to.? Well trust in Allah, if one does things in the way Allah prescribed, Allah will show mercy to us. Also arranged marriage will not be like 'love marriage', both the couple will be willing to sacrifice as they dont know what to expect initially. But in 'dating' marriage the expectation is high after marriage, but usually a downfall in relationship is seen.

May Allah guide you in the right path,  give you patience and bless you with a good spouse. Ameen.

And whoever is mindful of Allah, He will grant them a way out, and will provide for them in ways unimagined. And whoever places their trust in Allah, then Allah is their sufficiency. Allah’s affair will surely come to pass–and Allah has made a clear decree for everything.

The Second Attack

Then Shaqiq Balkhi (Rahmatullah ‘alaih) says : “Shaytaan comes from my right hand side and attacks. He attacks me by whispering into my mind :
How long are you going to be tied down to Halaal and Haraam in earning a living ? What of your concern for your wife, children and grand-children ? It must not be that you leave them poverty stricken and in such dire straits that they suffer starvation.’
This is another manner in which Shaytaan whispers to us :" How long are you going to restrain yourself from all this Haraam ? You
should go out of your way : accumulate, earn and make a packet for yourself in whichever way, adopting any means – Halaal or
Haraam – for your livelihood. And why worry about closing shop every day come Zuhr and Asr ? As it is business is bad; you will
only run at a greater loss."

He continues with his evil counsel : You need not be so cautious and scrupulous in holding back from interest, gambling money,
stolen money or anything Haraam ? Nor should you be so careful in not buying and selling stolen goods, or in taking someone else’s
share of the inheritance ?…

Shaqiq Balkhi (Rahmatullah ‘alaih) says: “I reply to Shaytaan at
that time :
“AND THERE IS NO LIVING BEING THAT MOVES ON EARTH, BUT
HIS SUSTENANCE DEPENDS ON ALLAH …”

[SURAH HOOD 11 : 6]

It is Allah Ta’ala that controls sustenance. He has taken it upon Himself to provide the sustenance of every creature He has created
on this earth. Whosoever and whatsoever Allah Ta’ala has given life, Allah Ta’ala has also destined what he is going to receive as
sustenance. His sustenance will not fail to reach him. All one has to do is make use of the Halaal means that Allah
Ta’ala has created to earn a living and Allah Ta’ala will provide.

If the merchandise, properties, monies, etc. do not rightfully belong to the person, then no matter how much his heart desires,
he says : “No, if it is not due to me in accordance with the Qur`aan and the Ahadith of Nabi (saw), then it will never bring
barkat(blessing) in my life. It will make my life miserable and Allah Ta’ala will make sure that money goes out some way or the other.”

Rizq (wealth)

If you take two persons of equal intelligence, give both of them an equal amount of money and then give both of them prime spots in
the bazaar or marketplace. Provide for both of them the same stock, of the same quality. They are of equal standing. At the end
of the month, ask them both : “How much business did you make?”
Even if both of them worked equally hard, there will definitely be a difference. It could even be that the sales or profits of one are
75% less than that of the other.

In India, Pakistan and many other places you will find 24 stalls, all in a line, selling the same thing - combs, handkerchiefs, knives,
buttons, etc. Who is sending sustenance to the different stalls ? –
Allah Ta’ala.
What then is the need to be envious and jealous?

Jealousy
There are so many who become jealous when a person opens his business next door to theirs, stacking the same lines. They think
their business will be affected. Jealousy, hatred and enmity build up, and in turn sometimes leads
to fights and arguments; sometimes even shootings, Sehr , etc.
When Shaytaan comes and whispers these fears, regarding one’s sustenance, then tell him :
“Allah Ta’ala has destined my
sustenance. My responsibility is to make the correct effort. Allah Ta’ala has provided me hands, feet and intelligence. I must go to
the bazaar and marketplace, make an effort to earn an honest living, and Allah Ta’ala will provide for me whatever He has
destined.”

Rasulullah (saw) has said : “Allah has revealed to me that no one
dies until he has received the sustenance destined for him even
though it may reach him late. As such guard yourself from
disobedience to Allah, and do not outstep the limits of moderation
in seeking your livelihood and in case of delay do not try to seek it
by unlawful means, for the sustenance that Allah provides can
only be got by obedience
.”

There are three habits, by conforming to which the heart of a Muslim will not be invaded by rancor, malevolence, malice or spite.
They are:
(1) working for the sake of Allah with sincere devotion [ikhlas],
(2) giving honest counse[/b]l [munasaha] to those in positions of authority, and
(3) keeping [b]closely in touch
with the community [jama'a] of the Muslims.

What i was tryin to prevent was doin a good deed/sunnah while one abhors it or, is unhappy wit it, for example a bro keepin his beard or a sis usin d hijab/veil while dislikin it, as dis is part of wat nullifies ones islam, as listed by scholars

IslamRe: Intellectual Humility (& islamic Quotes) by azharuddin(op): 2:50am On Apr 14, 2011
Wa alaikum salaam bro,

What proud here means (as to my knowledge) is being satisfied by ones good deeds. Thinking one has done enough. No one can do 'enough' of good deeds, we should always be humble. Being satisfied with ones good deeds(even without showing off) makes way for arrogance and also we wont try for doing more sunnah deeds if we are already satisfied.

I will give you an example. Its a comparison of two men. First person goes to the Mosque for every salah and he comes early so that he stands in the first row(which is very rewarding). The Second person does salah, but at home. One day the first person becomes late and misses the first row and is standing in the last row. At the same time the other guy decides to go to the Mosque for once and is standing next to him in the last row. Even though both of them are doing Salah side by side, the state of mind of them is very different. The first person is sad and angry with himself that he didnt come early for Salah. The second person is proud and happy with himself that he came for Salah to mosque after a long time. Next day , the first person tries more hard to come early to salah and the second person who is happy with himself doesnt even bother try to go to the mosque.

Basically we should set our standards high, Only then we will try harder to come closer to Allah. If we are happy with ourselves we will stop pushing ourselves and also we will stop focusing on ourselves and start focusing on others faults. I hope you understand bro.

Allah knows best.
