Man...
Go to Nkrumah circle, ask them for Suhum station where trotros bound for Suhum load. The fare is less than 10Ghc.
The journey may take about 2hours to reach Suhum. Tell the driver you will alight at New Station.
Voilà, you're at suhum!
I stay at Suhum, but I'm currently in Kumasi.
If you need any info, I'm always available here.
safe journey.

Hello everyone. Please i am 19 years old and i am a student at university of Ghana. I have just 2 years to graduate but my fees are almost 5 million per year since i am a nigerian student. My parents are saying i should come back to nigeria and start all over at university of Ibadan since it is cheaper. But i dont want to start over thats a waste of 3 years of my life and i dont want to graduate at 28 when all my mates have graduated at 21. They are even making silly comments about ibadan being better than university of Ghana. They are telling me i wont get a good job if i finish from Ghana. I am very frustrated. Please advise me. I dont know what to do.
did you type your fees is almost 5 million a year?
I doubt dear ,come again please!

FamilyRe: Choosing An African Name by AzontoGhost(m): 1:39am On Apr 10, 2016
CurlyCam:
Hi Guys!

Hope you do not mind me posting. I know this is Nairaland but I do see others here. In any case I value input from any and all.

I am a black woman of Jamaican heritage and I wish to change my name. It is highly likely I am Ghanaian and of Akan descent.

Using the naming convention, I should be Afia. Is this pronounced Ah-Fia or Ay-Fia?

Also how do I go about choosing a surname? Is there a list available.

I have searched and not found many. It seems there are no first names start with 't'? I have seen Tawiah for a surname.

My first choice would be to have both names start with 't' perhaps with Afia as a middle name.

Any suggestions please?

Peace and thank you.
I'm sorry to come in late.
hope you have gotten your desired names.
however, if you are still waiting for suggestions, I would like to suggest;

Tiwaa Afia Tano

Takyiwaa Afia Tabi

Tenkorang Afia Takyiama

etc...

I have more,just PM me.
Thanks.

Horner:
Ethiopians, Eritreans , North Sudanese and Somalis are the most beautiful Africans. They have thin noses , good lips , good hair and nice bodies. all part of the kushite/nubian group.

Then come the Bantus of Zimbabwe , Zambia , Rwanda etc..... these guys are ok not that bad but many have wide noses

West Africans are next, nigeria, ghana , etc all that stuff... they have big noses and wide lips , not many but most of them.... too much skin bleaching and fake hair... the body design is ok though

the ugliest groups are kenyans and south sudanese etc.... these people are extremely ugly

what do you guys think?
I think you are the most stup!d Person i have come across here.

RomanceRe: Funny Cartoon About Nigerian Women On Ghana News Forum (pic) by AzontoGhost(m): 9:37am On Jan 30, 2016
cocoama:
Thank you. All I see is a cartoon here of a guy chasing a curvy big bottom woman. This has nothing to do with Ghana or Nigeria. Some mischievous Nigerian decided to make it a Ghana versus Nigeria thing because they know it will just boost traffic and stupid insults as usual.

I don't understand the whole bruhaha between ghana and nigeria. I mean why must everything be a comparison or competition its so dumb. Ghanaian women are ghanaian women and nigerian women are nigerian women. We are all different and have different cultures. Why the need to compare. It's no news the average person prefers their own or think they are the best. There is nothing wrong with it. If I prefer and believe that ghanaian men are better than nigerian men. Why should it even be a topic of discussion. People are too damn childish. I guess this is one of the billions of reasons these two nations don't get along.
Anyway sometimes you just need to ignore some things. Let them wallow in their stupidity and hatred. I don't care what irrelevant people or people who don't make a difference in my life thinks or feel. There really is no love lost.
you are welcome.

Transparency International are at the forefront of anti-corruption drive worldwide. Stop making assumptions whilst sitting in a beer parlour in Oshogbo.
There are yardstick to measure anti-corruption drive, propaganda won't stop corruption only strong anti-corruption policies and legislation would stop it.
I believe you don't know what's going on in Ghana.
if Ghana excels per their Anti-corruption drive, etc, and qualifies as a rare gem to T.I in Africa, Then i must cry for Mama Africa!
