Experts who ventured inside a rural home for a standard welfare check Monday morning were defied with a terrible sight: the severely disintegrated body of a man.

Ondo state ministry of youth and sport development has given approval to Cyclox Technology group to sponsor an Open athletic championship in December this year.

The State Commissioner for Youths and sports Development, Hon. Saka Yusuff Ogunleye made this known to the press while playing host to management of Cyclox Technology in Akure Ondo state.
The commissioner in his speech stated that the state government will give Cyclox group who would be the key financier of the sport event, all necessary support to make important contacts on logistics, first aids, hotel accommodation, traffic control, security, and many others to make the stay of the athletes save, crises free and ensure the success of the project.

He said sport is now a serious carrier, and noted that the youths will gain a lot from the sporting championship.
He called on individuals’ business man and women, corporate bodies, union and organisations in the state to support the sporting activities by sponsoring the events to move the state forward, saying that he made similar call during his visit tot the state sport council.

Also speaking, the Chief Executive Officer of Cyclox Technology Mr. Adelekun Ayodeji said the open championship is to discover talented youths ahead of 2018, international Marathon race coming up in April.
He said his company has concluded the plan to host the Marathon, and called on organisations within and outside the country to support both the December meets and the Marathon, promising that the two sporting activities would yield sponsors lots of benefit.

“The international Marathon would kick start from Idanre hills to the state sport stadium in Akure the state capital. We want to show the beauty of the state and our tourism potentials to our visitors”, he explained.
Ayodeji, said we are expecting not less than 2,000 participants for the international Marathon, and the age limit for the participants is between 18 and 35 years.

A woman shot in the head during the Las Vegas mass shooting has taken her first steps after waking up from a coma.

Tina Frost, 27, from Maryland, took six steps and breathed on her own for six hours on Friday, less than two weeks after a bullet pierced the frontal lobes of her brain and ricocheted into her right eye during the attack on 1 October, according to ABC News.

Frost was attending the Route 91 Harvest festival in Las Vegas with her boyfriend, Austin Hughes, when gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire on crowds from a room at the Mandalay Bay hotel, killing 58 people and injuring nearly 500. Hughes was unhurt in the attack.

A Go FundMe campaign to raise funds for Ms Frost’s medical bills has so far over $500,000 (£300,000).

Writing on the fundraising website, Ms Frost’s mother, Mary Watson, said: “Today has also been a big day for our TT – she is now waking up!

“She opens her left eye just a lil and looks all around the room at us, taps her feet whenever music is playing, continues to squeeze our hands, and even gives [boyfriend] Austin a thumbs up when asked.

She sometimes taps to music and also took her first steps today with the assistance of the nurses –three steps to the chair and three steps back to the bed.”

In an update posted on the page on 2 October Ms Watson said Ms Frost had had her right eye removed but had retained the sight in her left eye and though she could not breathe on her own was in a critically stable state.

Three Las Vegas hospitals announced they would help to cover the medical costs of uninsured victims of the attack.

The massacre was the worst mass shooting in recent US history. Among the 58 people killed in the October attack, the youngest was 20-year-old Quinton Robbins and the eldest was 67-year-old Patricia Mestas.

Different accounts have emerged about the timeline of Paddock’s attack and when he fired his first shots in his 32nd floor Mandalay Bay suite, leading to questions over whether police could have done more to prevent him.

The body of Paddock, who sprayed more than 1,000 bullets into the crowd during Jason Aldean’s performance, is to be sent to Stanford University for study.

Police have still not determined a motive for the attack, despite having “run a thousand leads”, according to Kevin McMahill, the under-sheriff for the Clark County Police Department.

A mother of one is speaking out after her husband's energy drink consumption nearly cost her family everything.

In a post shared on Endres Photography's Facebook page, a woman named Brianna described the heart-wrenching battle that she and her husband Austin ended up having to fight while simultaneously preparing for the birth of their first child.

"Being pregnant is supposed to be one of the most amazing journeys you will ever embark on," Brianna wrote. "You're creating a new life. You are experiencing unconditional love for someone you have not even met. Austin and I were so excited to meet our little boy. To bring him home. To be a family."

Amid her soon-to-be growing family's bliss, Brianna said she received news from her mother-in-law that would leave her whole world "shattered within hours."

"I still remember my mother in law waking me up that morning. 'Austin had an accident' she said. All I knew was that my husband was in the hospital. The worst part? I didn't know why," Brianna wrote.

"After a two hour drive to the hospital, I learned that my husband, the father of my child, the person I am so deeply in love with, had had a brain hemorrhage. Why? The doctors concluded (after running his tox screen and ruling out drugs) that this horrible event was due to his recent excessive energy drink consumption (a habit he had built when he started working longer hours and commuting)."

Before the family could process was happening, her husband was in an operating room undergoing a life-saving procedure.

"Surgery was already in motion... and after an agonizing 5 hour wait, we got to see him. But while everyone was focused on the almost unrecognizable face hooked up to all sorts of machines and tubes, all I could see was his parents. I saw the light leave his mother's eyes as she saw her motionless son laying in that hospital bed. I saw his father break down crying as he held onto his wife. They didn't know if the life they created together would even wake up. Watching this family- my new family, who I have grown to love and be a part of, be so shattered and broken...that is the worst feeling I have ever felt."

The next day, Brianna said her husband was already undergoing his second round of brain surgery.

"Following this were strokes, seizures, swelling, and more things we weren't prepared for," she wrote. "There was a moment, sitting by his hospital bed, just praying he would be okay, that I knew I would never give up on him. No matter how messy our life would become. I was going to be by his side through all of it. After two weeks of living in a hospital, wondering if he would survive or be taken from us, we made our way back home. The time had come for me to deliver our baby."

"I'm not going to lie to anyone, it was so hard. I had planned on Austin being a part of this huge moment," Brianna continued in her emotional post. "Being by my side. Holding my hand. Being there to cut the cord. Being there to welcome our son into the world. It didn't feel right... But a beautiful miracle happened as I delivered our son. Austin woke up."





The new mom said that for about a week after her husband woke up, she was not even able to see him.

"I thought about him every day. I cried as I looked at my child who looked just like his daddy," she wrote. "When the baby was only a week old, I left him with my in-laws. I knew I needed to see Austin."

"I needed to tell him that our baby was here. To tell him how much we needed him. Weeks went by. We chased him all over the state as more operations and procedures were ordered. I saw him every chance I got. At a little over 2 months old, our son finally met his dad. A day I wasn't sure I would ever see. That was the day that my heart gained some of its happiness back."

But although Austin was finally able to return home to his loving family, Brianna said the struggle did not end there.

"Our life isn't normal. There are doctors visits and hospital trips- so many that I loose count. But we are here. Fighting," she wrote. "I wake up every day to take care of our beautiful little boy and my husband. I prepare the meals, do physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy. I help him with personal hygiene. I help him walk. I help him with every aspect of his life. And in between these tasks I take care of our very busy eight month old. It is hard, and I am tired, but we make the most of it. He isn't the same man I fell in love with, but I still fall further everyday, We are fighting to help him recover. To make his life better. One day we will get there. Until then, I will never give up on him. Because love is selfless, and I love him more than life itself."

Naturally its seen as the as the desire for a every woman to be a mother. it is also the desire of the woman to have a companion to put her trust and confidence in, as well to admire. But what happens if the desires and admiration turn sour. Sometimes, despite the love, commitment,attraction and efforts to stay married, people just reach a point of no return and choose to split up.


Women considering divorce often turn to therapy as a last effort to save their marriages. Many times, their husbands have remained painfully unaware of the marital problems until that point.

The sacrifices are easier to live with and lovers attempt to accommodate to their compromises and no longer view them as such. The OP gave just one scenario and I was surprised that all our resident intelligent men couldn't figure out the other side of the coin...but that's normal. The men advised such women to count their losses and move on, with emphasis being on how they both enjoyed the sex. Why they feel it's all about the sex is story for another day.

what prompted my post was a phone call I had with a male friend which turned into a debate .

He is about getting married and says something like one doesn't need to date for a long time before getting married ,maximum 6 months because there's nothing you want to know about your spouse, you will eventually find out everything when you become husband and wife living under the same roof .

Trust me, I debunk the notion because I am of the strong opinion that rushing in is dangerous. You need to know the person you want to settle with to a very large extent before tying the knot. The time you spend doing that, is up to you. but I am particular about the " LARGE EXTENT ".
