Foreign Affairs › Re: 160,000 Foreigners Left South Africa Since Current Protests - LIST by azyaq(m): 5:26pm On Aug 03
RandDigital:
More than 160,000 foreign nationals left South Africa over June and July following widespread anti-immigrant unrest, according to an AFP tally based on figures from the repatriating governments.

South Africa has seen weeks of nationwide protests against undocumented foreigners.

As anti-migrant groups pressed their demand for immigrants to leave by June 30, citizens of other African countries flocked to consulates and community halls seeking transport home.

The largest numbers to leave were from Zimbabwe and Malawi but hundreds more were from countries including Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Mozambique, Nigeria and Uganda.

Releasing updated figures on Tuesday, Zimbabwe's cabinet said 108,366 of its people had come home as of July 18, a majority of them self-repatriating.

Malawi announced on Monday that more than 46,890 citizens had returned since early June, with the government providing 699 buses for the long journey home.

Nearly 2,000 Mozambicans also returned, according to South African government figures.

Some crossed the border with help from their government after two Mozambican nationals were killed at the end of May in the southern town of Mossel Bay. Authorities also confirmed the deaths of an Ethiopian and a Malawian in "anti-foreigner sentiment."

Nigeria has repatriated around 1,490 nationals, while Ghana has flown home at least 926, according to government figures.

South Africa has long been a destination for documented and undocumented African workers searching for work.

Zimbabwe - 108,366
Malawi - 46, 890
Mozambique - 2,000
Nigeria - 1,490
Ghana - 926
I beg Ooo
make una leave them Ooo

DontTradeUrSoul:
Beloved, all of us Human Beings have one common Enemy from day one, is name is Satan. Any Soul that refuses to serve any other Being apart from Awesome CREATOR of Heaven and Earth(That Both Muslims and Christians call YAH as written in Quran: YAH-Rahman and in the Bible: HalleluYAH), Satan knows that such Soul would be rewarded with Immortality from YAHWEH The Great SOURCE of Life. Therefore Satan would fight such Souls tooth and nail till he deceive and capture such Soul to become evil. An Evil Soul can never live forever, because it is eternally separated from YAHWEH the SOURCE of Life.

Truly, both Christians and Muslims are from the same Father Abraham and Historically both were worshipping YAH as JESUS His Son has revealed to all Humanity long before Roman Empire counterfeited YAH's true Worship and Name it Christianity, later about 300 Years after which they also created Islam through Madam Kadija who was already well familiar with Roman Catholism rosaries way of prayer, etc. This is a painful Truth that it took me sometimes to accept too, that Satanists intentionally turned 2 Children of same Father to enemies by Counterfeiting the Original Worship that their Father-lineage was esterblished in by Heaven. Only Souls that shall live forever would be able to accept this Bitter Truth. If you doubt this, let me remind you that Paul, Peter and many other Believers that later came did massive preaching all over Arab World in Asia and many believed the good News and reconnected their lives back to the CREATOR of Humanity.

Worshipping YAH those days was not as being done in Currch or Mosque today. Both Islam and Christianity were deceitfully branched out as remodelled Version of the True Methodology of Worshipping the CREATOR of Humanity. But at a Time when Satan's children that ruled as the World Empire then noticed that Abraham children undivided and completely in unity worshiping YAHWEH.

Politics › Re: Malcolm Omirhobo Sues FG, CBN, AGF Over Arabic Inscription On Naira, Army Logo by azyaq(m): 7:50pm On Jan 10, 2020
soloenzo:
A Nigerian lawyer and Human Rights activist Barr. Malcolm Omirhobo has Thursday sued the Federal Government, Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigeria Army, Ministry of Defense and Attorney General of the Federation over the continuous Arabic inscription on the naira notes and the flag of the Nigerian Army without considering Nigeria to be a secular nation.

He is seeking a Federal High Court to interpret the provisions of Section 10 of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He filed two suits.

The defendants in the suits are Central Bank of Nigeria, Attorney-General of the Federation, the Nigerian Army, as well as the Ministry of Defence.

Plaintiff is seeking a court interpretation whether by a community reading of Sections 10 and 55 of the 1999 Constitution, it is lawful and constitutional for the defendants to permit the Naira notes to be adorned with Arabic inscriptions.

In the same vein, the plaintiff is asking whether by a community reading of Sections 1(1)(3), 10 and 55 of the 1999 Constitution, it is proper for the defendants to permit the Nigerian Army logo to be adorned, or inscribed in Arabic insignia.

He is seeking a court interpretation whether by the true letter and spirit of Section 10 of the 1999 Constitution, Nigeria is a secular state without any official religion.

He wants the court to declare that it is  illegal, unlawful, and unconstitutional to allow the Nigerian Army logo to be adorned, and inscribed in Arabic language, instead of the official English language or Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo which are the three main languages or ethnic groups in Nigeria.

The defendants are yet to reply. The Court also is yet to fix a date for the hearing of the case.

from my view I think hausa language is best written in Arabic, na Yoruba people suppose dey fight say make them write an for Yoruba on the naira note but for the army logo no comment. Gbam!!!
Politics › Re: As Nigerians, Can We Ever Witness Stable Electricity In Our Life Time? by azyaq(m): 6:52pm On Jan 10, 2020
ALAGOGO007:
For many years now, Nigeria has been facing an extreme electricity shortage. This deficiency is multi-faceted, with causes that are financial, structural, and sociopolitical, none of which are mutually exclusive. Nigeria’s power sector has high energy losses from generation to billing, a low collection rate and low access to electricity by the population. There is insufficient cash generation because of these inefficiencies and the power sector is consequently reliant on fuel subsidies and funding of capital projects by the government.

At present only 10 % of rural households and 40% of the country’s total population have access to electricity. Power supply difficulties cripple the agricultural, industrial and mining sectors and impede the Nigeria's ongoing economic development. The energy supply crisis is complex, stems from a variety of issues and has been ongoing for decades.

As of December 2013, the total installed or nameplate capacity (maximum capacity) of the power plants was 6,953 MW. Available capacity was 4,598 MW. Actual average generation was 3,800 MW. As of December 2014, the total installed capacity of the power plants was 7,445 MW.

The minister for power Babatunde Fashola said that 90 million Nigerians lack electricity supply. This is an indictment of the government and a clarion call on that same government as well as other stakeholders to do something urgently about the wobbling electricity supply situation in the country. Every year, the Nigerian government invest huge amout of money in the power sector with no positive impact, something seems not right!

The big question is, are we going to witness a stable power supply in our lifetime , will it ever happen?
since we moved from giant to been ant of Africa things changed
