don't quote me so are u telling me 520k car must be rough and as problem with leg. if my offer is not accepted you move on it is a market place instead of insults that is the real truth.I am sure you are an agent even if customer price ur car 250k na market. moreover, I got a clean Honda accord 2001 yesterday 8month use for 450k clean as snow white, a.c na cold room, deep freezer,mortuary standard, sound system na party hall even with reverse camera. remember a patient dog eat the fattest bone .A stupid agent wasted my time and money close to 60k down to Lagos with my mechanic but now am bless with a good ride.The neatness and features of my new accord can even go for 650k to 700k. A car is not what you should put all your problems on that is the real truth take it or leave it no offense.

I have been using the car for almost 4 years now. No regrets. What helps me is because I am a mechanical engineer and potentially an auto mechanic. I need to commend the utmost reliability of my car as it moves any day any time. I use the 5 cylinder and I am maintenance savvy. I schedule my maintenance before any fault occurs like, change timing belt, fuelpump and all before they breakdown. The motor has many electronics, so one problem may lead to another soon u need to solve any little problem as soon as possible. mechanics always misconstrue thecar Problems but if you are technologically oriented, Youtube willsolve all your problems. I change my shafts, hubs, rods,and Ball joints under30K last october and I have not done any repair since then till now. I only change oil and I drive Lekki to egbeda every working day.


My car is a converted car.

Hello carlanders, most folks believe when a car engine oil becomes dark, it mean the engine is due for service, and the darker the oil, the more concerned you should be about the maintenance of your vehicle even when you might have done service a month before.

Ill need the assistance of car gurus in the house to help on this matter.

very easy, location is at the back of the engine near the fire wall. Car should have issues starting in the morning especially on a cold day.

Coolant temp sensor check if connections are firm, if firm replace sensor. If you cannot get 1, come over and get 1 for free.

Car towed into workshop, in reverse!! It was very stressful, unfortunately no pictures for that.

Engine was taken down and separated from the transmission.

Engine oil drained and showed signs of metal chips at the base.

Engine oil pan removed, and there are larger aluminum parts, engine had previously been opened, signs of sludge build up, and that was it, my mind was made up, I am not working with this engine, I will rather keep it for parts.



Day 2, asked my boss if I could take the day off to go look for the engine, and he gave me the go ahead , it was raining, straight to ladipo.......

When buying engines or transmissions, I usually do not buy them in bits, I prefer the whole package. IT IS MORE EXPENSIVE, but I am rewarded with parts.

I started scouting from 1 warehouse to another, searching for a K24AZ3 engine.

Now my engine has 2 Vtech solenoids at back of the engine and 2Vtech switches.




I found over 10engines but none had the 4 sensors, and they did not meet my cleanliness standards, so Day2 no engine was bought.

Day3, a little bird told me about a container that would be off loaded, and there were 3Very clean K24AZ3 Engines inside.

Container off loaded and it was a joyous moment..... see engine

On the road tyres must be road legal
Toks comes with number plates as I export them with number plates
There are always mats if it was on at time I bought the car I have no reason to remove them
Batteries can last up to 2 years .
I'm talking as a person who directly exported cars from the EU and US .

Faults, ABS warning Light illuminated, anti-skid illuminated, brake warning lamp illuminated.

Vehicle history: recently purchased Toks vehicle, Rear Right impact, rear right wheel speed sensor/bearing replaced.
Diagnosis/Scan procedures.

Vehicle Scan: C1415 (Rear speed sensor RH circuit output)
C1416 (Rear speed sensor LH circuit output)

Live scan rotating rear wheels, no information on rear wheel speed on diagnostic machine.

Live scan rotating known functional rear wheel bearing by hand, wheel speed detected on rear wheels on diagnostic equipment.

Repair procedure: Old Rear wheel bearings/ABS sensors removed from vehicle.

Part number results conflicts with vehicle part was removed from.

I have a 250W solar panel specification image attached to this post. Your specification should be within that range.

Since your inverter is 24V, your panels should have been connected in parallel thereby increasing your resultant charge current by a factor of 4.

There are factors that may be responsible for your low charge current of 11A at peak period.

a. The size of the cable that you used in connecting the solar panels to the charge controller. This must be a flex DC cable and should be at least 6mm. 10mm is better. The same size of cable that you used in connecting from the panels to the charge controller should be the same that is used to connect from the charge controller to the batteries terminals.
b. The orientation of your solar panels. The panels should directly face the sun at about 1:30pm.
c. Connecting the panels properly ie the panels should be connected in parallel in this case to have a higher charge current (amperage)
