Collynzo9: ,^^ Sam Mbakwe's work still standing the test of time in Imo and Abia. E no better for Buhari for taking that man away from us Bia enyi if you will talk like this don't comment on this thread again. Mbakwe of which time, 1979-1983? This type of comment always piss me up. Most of the things we have shown so far was planned and built by Orji Uzor and TA Orji. Orji Uzor asphalted all Umuahia city roads, painted and marked and TA did same. It was Orji that planned and built govt/Aguiyi Ironsi layout while TA Orji complimented with more roads and govt properties. It was OUK that built Ehimiri housing estate, mapped out Agbama housing estate, dualised and beautified library/Akanu ibiam road, it him that built BCA road and other dual carriage roads in the govt layout. It was TA Orji that dualised missionhill and Bende Road. The last pics posted by customized was built by TA Orji. Bro, go and ask question, Mbakwe did not worked anything in Umuahia, the reason is very funny to hear. His work was centered on Aba and Owerri. Without maintenance today Mbakwe roads would have become history. |

asha80: which okezie ikpeazu?I do not think you are actually passionate about abia's development Bro pls speak for your state and don't intrude in an another man's house. Will you come from your state and decide for Abians? Among all the aspirants Okezie is the only person from CORE Aba. Alex Otti is from Arochukwu and the failed business mugul, Uche Ogah is from Isukwuato. I think your problem is that he's Ochendo's choice, just relax he'll do like Obiano. |

Abagworo: For you to claim schools are in decay is falsehoid for a State that built over 300 schools. Imo today is the 2nd most developed State in the East after Rivers State. This was achieved in less than 4 years without large funds and without FG assistance. Owerri airport is now the 4th busiest in the country after Lagos, Port Harcourt and Abuja. If we are not developing rapidly why are economic and tourism activities more now in Owerri than other States in the East outside Rivers?
Please saTANist we have seen your thread and the ugly, dirty and red pictures everywhere. We even saw people's houses and those Igbotic houses that can only be found in our alternate cities like Orlu which is like your State capital from every indication. I am touring the East and I am in Akwa Ibom right now seeing the level if decay and poverty. I will sure be in your State soon to also ascertain the level of decay and poverty. God bless Nigeria. Oga hapu Onye a. Imo is very much better now, very soon with Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu Abia will follow suit. |

Schematics: My friend stop saying what you do not know, though am not in support of the jab thrown by investnow2913. Anambra has some many dualized roads including this 10 lanes super highway below which is the biggest and best east of the Niger. That aside, the state equally has the best road network connecting all parts of the state.
One thing that is peculiar to Anambra is building every sector and regions of the state simultaneously. Take the ongoing mall construction for instance, If we are building a mall it must be built in all our major cities etc, the same applies to every other infrastructural development in the state. By so doing every part of the state will develop holistically without leaving any part behind. That is development in the real sense of it. I think that is a US model where every state of America is developed to almost equal status. Anambra is good for it because anybody can reside in any part of the state because there are infrastructures in every part.
[s][/s] Very wonderful road, i love this |

emmysoftyou: i understand yu...now But broda,i am not from abia...state....
I think why the abians didnt comment is becos of their present governor is not doing well in abia state...
esp aba...
majority of nairalander from abia state, maybe from aba resident, but due to the bad state of the environment, Yu dont expect them to comment here... Yu might be staying in umuahia, and yu ve see what the governor is doing there aesthetically... So i think few umuahians are in nairaland not abia as a whole..... Hope u understand me now... Ok it's now clear to me, i stay in Umuahia but Aba is my hometown. I do defend Abia state but I'm not happy with the level of negligence meted to the city by the present administration. My defence for the state is not i don't see what's happening in Aba but it was because of the bad perception and wrong languages people used against my state while i know too well that despite the present condition of Aba the city is very far better than many nigeria cities and abia state still have many quality development. My prayer now is that let an Abia south man enter as a gov. |

Kingsley1000: Umuahia is a very beautiful city with white sands on the roads...very nice topography.the city lacks good hotels like the one you find in owerri, awka, enugu, steady water supply and stable electricity....my only problem is that market they relocated to ubakala, what are they planning to build there? Thanks for your good contribution, but Umuahia has many good Hotels like Royal dageret, beneu Aires, kenvill, villa Roy, Helson Helson, Eastern comfort, gador, smilemore, benac, etc. If I'll be chanced, I'll try and cover some of them. Pls non of the Umuahia mkts was relocated to Ubakala, the main market was relocated to Ubani. |

cjrane: Okay oo! working even on weekend on a project to meet the deadline of my clients.
I am so happy that you have kept your word to showcase the great Abia state! I just read and confirmed that Abia is the only SE state with common borders with every single SE state including 3 SS states of Akwa Ibom,Cross River and Rivers! Wow!, Abia is at the core and so central to anything working out for the SE and indeed SS. I didn't know that if not for this thread! Yea bro, the information you read is true |
