oneeast3:Oga this is not Aba. See Aba video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kb4mMQe4p8A |
kikake:Is that a new autonomous community? After Mgbee in Orlu LGA the next community is Ogboko. I really need someone from Ideato south to clarify us here. |

kikake:Oga carry your madness and leave here, when do Ogboko and Ideato south cease to be part of Orlu? Your statement here is like telling an Annang man that Essien-Udim is not part of Ikot-Ekpene or telling an Ngwa man that Osisioma, Ugwunagbor and Obingwa is not Aba. Oga, go and check yourself properly. The university was built in Ogboko as part orlu share. |
kikake:Oga please stop this your madness, which zone is Ideato south? And what is the distance between Ogboko and Orlu city? Are you not the one always shouting here that Owerri people convinced Rochas to abandon Imo university site in Orlu? You have been lamenting here that Imo state government should make use of the facility in Ogboko as a campus of Imo state University so as to attract more development to Orlu, now you are trying to say that Ogboko and Ideato south is not Orlu. Guy, it's now clear that you are an agent paid to destabilize Imo state government. You speak from the both sides of your mouth. And on serious note, new universities are cited at outskirts of towns so as to attract development to the area and expand the size of the town. Immediately you leave Orlu and enter Ideato south the first community you will get is Ogboko. And the new University still bear Orlu address. I'm yet to understand your motive here. |

OVB123:He is not right in anyway. Rochas did his best in Imo state considering the resources that was available to him. The the Ebonyi state he used as reference what is the level of her recurrent expenditure compared to imo state, was there any free education to all levels in Ebonyi state, what is the size of Abakiliki compared to Owerri, did Umahi construct 10 higher institutions as constructed by Rochas? What is the status of community/village markets in Ebonyi state compared to Imo state? How many roads does Umahi expand to 10-lanes compared to what Rochas did? How many conference centers, stadia, event squares, federal high court, and skill acquisition centers did Umahi builld in Ebonyi? Orlu has been neglected by previous governments of imo state except Udenwa, but Rochas did his little best by dualising all the major roads in Orlu town, built new markets and plazas. He also built 5 new higher institutions in and around Orlu city. Just watch the hand of Rochas in the below video. 80%of the roads in the video were constructed by Rochas, all the 10 lane roads. This video was taken in 2020, despite the neglect and the destruction of Rochas' projects by the immediate past governor Owerri still look good. I will post the pictures of higher institutions he built in Orlu. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdOOcyFSJ_w Below is Eastern Palm University built in Orlu by Rochas.

Umueme:Good one bro. |
ike95:Thanks. The right thing people should have done is to hear from the indigenes of the state where he ruled. Social blackmail of Rochas baffles me. But I know all these happened just to discredit him against his presidential aspiration. Bro, Rochas did wonders in Imo state with meagre resources. To get someone like him again will be hard. |
ike95:I too, the best so far. Leave media blackmail. Rochas did very well in Imo state. His works are still there for everyone to see. |
oaugraduate1234:Happy birthday to him. A good man but painted bad by the media. He's still one of the best. |
100Caliber:Brother, I really understood you but just take it easy. I've leaved in Akwa ibom before and know their way of life which is most times irritating. You and I know that they don't have welcoming spirit and see every stranger as people who have come to cheat them. They are hard on strangers and equally very hard to handle except few young men and women who are exposed and their elderly men and women. But there's no need of comparing two sister states here. Rossikk might have made mistake and you correcting him is not bad. But my stand is, let's celebrate the progress Akwa ibom has achieved so far. As at early 90's nobody expected this good to come out of Akwa ibom, then people were celebrating your cross river state (Calabar) and few other cities like Portharcourt and Enugu. Akwa ibom today serves as source of encouragement to me that in life, no condition is permanent, tomorrow might be your turn. And on serious note, Calabar is still one of the best even till tomorrow, so calm your anger and overlook any stone threw on you. It has been some people's way to insult or compare their shoes with others whenever they are celebrating their success. |
Ilaumoh:Yes bro., One love |
Yes, Chino he has released his other monikers, commenting and quoting himself. This is all he knows how to do, since Abians are not giving him the opportunity let him use his other monikers and provoke himself. |
superlightning:Don't do that, that's what he wants. This guy is not Igbo. Even ndi Anambra rejected him. He is doing these to attract hatred from other Igbos to ndi Anambra state. |
100Caliber:Oga leave this sentiment and don't drag me into it. Everyone has right to reside anywhere he or she desires. Let's celebrate with Akwa ibom people, it's their turn to shine no one knows where the blessing will go tomorrow. Before 1999 Akwa ibom used to be the worst state in the whole of southeast and southsouth but today, it is the best. Back then everybody used to sing Calabar the small London but today, nobody think of Calabar again. Life is rotatory, so don't kill yourself tommorow might be your turn. I remember Uyo back then, nobody knows that a day like this will come. God is great. |
100Caliber:I love this question. Some people will open their mouth say whatever they like without considering the amount of resources available for each state. The ratio of Akwa ibom allocation to Imo state allocation is 36billion : 5.4billion |
Rosskii:This is very beautiful. Infact, money is good. Since the oil boom in the state, the state has experienced tremendous development. Eket is almost like this. |
Obi1kenobi:Noted. But it's high time people from Anambra state caution him. |
Obdk:You must be very stupid to make such comment, I have every right to comment or say how or what I feel in Anambra thread because I am Igbo. Anambra progress is not for Anambra state rather for all Igbo. Anambra is just a state name not a tribe, a boundary adjustment can put or remove a LGA from it. Any Anambra son or daughter has right too to comment in any Igbo state's thread. |
Umueme:Lol |
Umueme:Lol |
superlightning:Pls just leave the idiot, he is not from Anambra state. Infact, he is not Igbo just ignore his post. |
oneeast3:This is what you've been longing to do. You've been looking for an opportunity for you to display your peculiar madness. Now that you've done it, I hope you can rest now. All these can no longer move us because we've known you and your tactics on nairaland, soon will start commenting and quoting yourself with your other monikers. All you want is someone from Abia to start posting the bad side of Anambra so that you will make the same statement you made in 2012 that "you are happy that you have achieved what you want". In Igbo, we have values and respect our culture and people. No Igbo man can behave the way you behave. Your blood is so strange to us. Igbos are great but in terms of ranking using human development and individual achievement Anambra still take the lead followed by Imo, Abia, Delta Igbo, Enugu, Ebonyi, Rivers Igbo and Benue Igbo. We've already known our positions so what else should we be dragging. You always bring unnecessary dragging and comparison which every Igbo sons and daughters know the true state of things. Mind you Enugu and Ebonyi is not poor as you always portrayed here, evidence can be seen in their outlook and pattern of building. I sensed that NBS used your comments on nairaland to draw their conclusion of the 2019 poverty ranking. In a state you see up to 500,000 5-storey buildings distributed all over the state and you used only 22,000 respondents in your research work and you place her far below a state you barely see a 2-storey building. That result is pathetic and should be rejected. And what you posted here, there is no state in Nigeria that does not have a place worse than these. In the north, flood and stagnant water is chasing them away from their home, causing potholes and breakdown of roads and nobody is posting pictures to use them against them. You see how mad you are? Since you are claiming Anambra, contribute something meaningful to this thread in a rational manner. |
oneeast3:Attention seeker, go and rest cos I won't give you attention. You are not igbo, so why should I waste my attention on you. Allow me to discuss with the sons of the soil, the great children of brave lions not an imposter like you who has no meaningful contribution rather to cause disunity among igbos. Using Anambra as bedrock to attack other Igbos and their neighbors. Attracting hatred from other Igbos to Anambra and from Igbo neighbours to Igbos. You are a Yoruba man working for your Yoruba interest. I won't challenge you on Anambra but I will challenge you on your real state. Tell me the real you and your state let's compare your state with Abia state. Watch these and tell yourself the truth https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kb4mMQe4p8A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kSRPDjmqKU |
sirjoe1124:Are you really sure. just watch this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kb4mMQe4p8A |
Obdk:In all ramifications apart from trade, industry and commerce. All these things you are celebrating in Anambra today have been built in Imo state long ago Drop sentiment and tell your government the plain truth so as to motivate them to work. I am not comfortable with the level Anambra state is today considering her potentials in human and natural resources. Apart from individual development and contributions, are you sure Anambra is not the least in southeast in terms of government presence? How's government presence in Awka as the capital city, Onitsha as a prominent Nigerian commercial city, Nnewi as it's foremost industrial city, Ekwulobia and Enugu ukwu as it's emerging towns compared to other states like Imo's Owerri, Orlu, Okigwe, Oguta and Nkwerre; Abia's cities and towns like Aba, Umuahia, Ohafia, Abariba and Igberre; Enugu's Enugu city and Nsukka town? I will still repeat it, had it been it was Anambra state that Rochas ruled, today he will be seen as god. The ICC and international airport Obiano is building that's attracting much praises were equally constructed by Rochas in his state with the help of private sector attracted by him. He built one ICC and one investment center and numerous event centers, he built international cargo airport, he built numerous 8-lane roads in Owerri, he built 10 world class higher institutions, he built two stadia in Orlu and Okigwe, renovated primary and secondary schools in Imo state, dualised Intercity roads, gave out free buses and taxis, built Hero and Freedom squares, gave free education to all levels, started a multi storey car part and diasporan city, built controversial two flyovers and two tunnels, built Akachi tower, built Bongo apartments and Akachi apartments, dualised Orlu and Okigwe city major roads, built houses for widows, gave out school uniforms to primary and secondary schools' children. Very numerous to mention. What signature project has Obiano completed apart from the ones built by Obi and Ngige? Pray that God should open your eyes. Meanwhile, this is Aba and Abiriba. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kb4mMQe4p8A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1kSRPDjmqKU |
