Akwa Ibom State Governor, Mr. Udom Emmanuel, today visited the St. Gabriel's Coconut Oil Factory at Mkpat Enin to assess the ongoing installation of production lines.

The Governor who was conducted round the facility by the project consultant Engr. Francis Uwah and project supervisors from VKS was assured that the factory, capable of engaging 1300 direct staff would be ready for inauguration before the anniversary of the state's creation in September this year.

You are right in your writeup, but I have some few areas to correct. Ndoki/asa clan of Igbo cut across 3 states of Abia, Rivers and Akwa ibom. In Abia, they occupy Ukwa east and west LGAs, in Akwa ibom, they are found in Ikot Abasi, and in Rivers state, they occupy Obigbo, some parts of Omuma and Eleme, distributed in many parts of Okirika and are the major indigenous occupants of Opobo and Bonny.

So the ijaws who have been trying to claim the outright owners of Opobo and Bonny for many decades want to claim them so as to have the outright ownership of Opobo and Bonny. They know it will not be possible for them to cut the ties between the Ndokis of Opobo and Bonny and the rest in Obigbo and Abia so they started the move to re-write their history and tell them how they (ijaws) and Ndokis migrated and lived together but were influenced by Igbos.

The ijaws has been known since time immemorial to be landgrabbers. They don't grab only land, they claim both land and the people. I know you were surprised to hear him mentioned Abia and Imo. These people are success attachees. Haven't you heard them claiming some part of Anambra state?

There are 3 things that normally attract them:
1. Presence of oil deposits

Ijaw is not an ethnic group, have you seen any ethnic group that has more than 400 different languages. Ijaw is a recent ethnic group from Sierra Leone who are occupying land rejected and abandoned by Igbos and Ibibios.

Forceful evacuation for what? Was it not for the protection and safety of her citizens when they saw the federal troops closing by? Were they evacuating them and occupying their land?

Where did your forefathers come from?
Bonny and Opobo were founded and established by the Igbos and remain culturally and linguistically Igbo towns, the ibani you spoke about later joined them from nearby area. It was after the civil war that you people started migrating to the land and some of the original indigenes started denying their Igbo identity for political convenience.

You and I know that ijaw is neither a cultural ethnic group nor linguistic ethnic group but a geographical union for political exploitation. The whole ijaw group does not have one culture or one language but a union formed from the minorities of minority who found themselves in a particular geographical area and grouped themselves under one umbrella for political convenience and aspiration.

When you were telling federal government to carved lands from old Imo state into Rivers state and was telling them that they are no longer Igbos but Rivers people and encouraging the Ikwerres to deny their Igbo identity you did not foresee what is happening today. Even if it was your GEJ was there and you declare Niger Delta republic he will do more than Ironsi. When MASSOB wanted to raise biafran flag in Owerri they were crushed and killed by Obasanjo a southern man and we are not holding that action against the Yorubas, when chief Onwuka's Biafran Zionist Movement wanted to take over Enugu radio station and announce the declaration of Biafra independence they were crushed by the same Goodluck Ebele Jonathan they saw as their own and were jailed (this is why his group hates GEJ) and Igbos did not used that action of GEJ against the ijaws or fail to vote him in 2015. Niger Delta is feasible and Biafra is very feasible but referendum should be conducted first.
