One of the very recent blunders is your support for another Fulani in 2019. If he wins (God forbid), that means, all things been equal, there can be no Igbo presidency in 2023 because he will go for 8 years.

Another one is IPOB. Instead of converting the achieved Igbo unity through IPOB to political bargaining power, your perulious quest for independence because you felt left out blinded you and you messed up by turning IPOB to a militant organization. Didn't you see what the Yoruba achieved through OPC?

The 2023 Igbo Presidency will be determined by 16th Feb (less than 2 weeks time). You will know who is wise then.

It is devils alternatives for the Igbo. If you vote for Atiku and (God forbid) Atiku wins, there is no vacancy in 2023. If you still vote for Atiku and PMB wins, the South West and APC will not support Igbo Presidency in 2023.

Take this as the gospel truth, without the support of the South West, an Igbo man cannot win the Presidency - you simply don't have the numbers and you will not stop fighting yourselves (divided votes).

As unpalatable as it may sound to you, a good forward thinking political judgement will be for the Igbos to support PMB. But the Igbos are not forward thinking, they only think in the contest of "Immediacy". They are not politically flexible so they will carry on with the pain of PMB defeating GEJ (their anointed candidate) in 2015 by voting against PMB again and in 2023 nothing will change - Presidency will change hand from the North to the South West.

If you don't change your ways and actions, how do you expect a change of results (outcomes)? It is an "Impossicant" as we say in the "Kegite Society"

I am sure I will receive a lot abuses and insults for my submission, but it is the gospel truth, and it is what will happen. You can keep the write and we talk about it in 2023.

As a matter of fact, I wrote a similar write-up before the 2015 election that the Igbos were putting "all their eggs in one basket" and they will suffer badly if GEJ fail to win the election. I was abused and insulted, but we all know what happened after the 2015 election. Yet the Igbos have the audacity to complain of marginalization. How do you expect to reap where you did not sow?

The era of political savvy politicians like Zik (The Ewelle himself), Chuba Okadigbo and Sam Mbadiwe (the man of Timber and Calibre) are gone. Show me a rallying figure amongst the Igbo politicians that the South West support. They are just minor political loafers. Obi that would have been acceptable to the Elites of the West in 2023 has now committed political suicide by selling to Atiku. It is just unfortunate.

Also, it is not Jungle Justice when a CJN can go to an Appellate Court (Appeal Court) without any Judgement from a lower court? I am sure HE was taught that is a NO-NO LAW-101 class.

Justice Ayo Salami was recommended for removal then to the president by the NJC, in which after his suspension and investigation, he was recommended for reinstatement by the same NJC. With all your long story, you did quote any section of the constitution that prevents the President from suspending a Judicial officer and you have not challenged the section your SAN quoted when he was defending GEJ when he took the same action (suspension of a judicial officer)

Simply because those our brethren heavily invested in the PDP at the time were afraid of losing their vested selfish interests.
Till today I'm still trying to fathom the basis for that wicked and twisted deceit especially as many of those Igbo elites who sold that dummy have since ported to the same APC.

We failed to even identify with that new Alliance. Hence the Party, APC was birthed without any remarkable input from us or presence. The few amongst us who aligned were called all kinds of names and abused to high heavens by us even when they were proven right afterall.

Thus the few Igbos who were part of it were at best fringe players as they didn't have the required clout to make serious demands and do the necessary political wheeling and dealing required in Politics to strike the hard bargains since politics is all about interests and numbers. They were even suspect, so much so that it was only their personal political sagacity that gave them whatever they got.

That Party went on to win the Presidential Election which in truth, most of us never believed it could or would, because of our half baked permutations and poor understanding of Nigerian politics. But it did. 

Curiously we turned up at the fore front of telling this same Party how it should share it's 'spoils of war'. We became hypocritical moral champions with an over bloated sense of entitlement. Who does that, in all political reality and practicality? But we did, even while vehemently and vociferously still refusing to shift our position, style and rhethoric.

We dug in. Supported every bad thing and person against the Party, the elected President and the Administration while denying any and every good done to and for our Region.

Fast forward to where we are today. Almost four years after the 2015 misadventure, we have stayed put at 2015, refusing to move forward, refusing to shift grounds, refusing to play pragmatic politics, telling ourselves the same lies we cooked and bought in 2015 and some more. 

Now barely 3 weeks to another election, we have started again saying "APC cannot give Presidency to Igbos in 2023". "Buhari cannot hand over to an Igbo man because Buhari hates Igbos". "APC is deceiving you", bla bla bla.

Of course. We will believe Saraki, who has only but a fanthom dream of becoming President and whose only known record is selfishness but we can't believe Buhari who's already President and who has a record of voluntarily picking two great Igbo sons as running mates in the past? Chukwu aju.

It is interesting and vital to note here that the PDP which many of us still proudly support and adore was in power for 16 solid years and in those years there were 4 Presidential Inaugurations and on none of those was an Igbo man found worthy by the PDP of even Vice Presidency and we are still bold to say it is the APC that has not even finished one tenure that doesn't want to give power to Igbos. NOW; Seriously, let's be sincere. As things stand today politically, why would the APC even hand power to us Igbos in 2023? 
On what grounds? 
On what records?
On what politics?
Is power given to anyone? 
Is it an appeasement or a gift? 

The APC is a political party. The main focus of a political Party is to hold power and keep it to enable it deliver on its agenda. So if the APC reads that the SE does not want the Presidency or does not have the capacity to help them win and keep power, they will stick with the regions that can and work with individuals who are interested. 

Make no mistake, I have always said, I do not blame us Igbos for the decision majority of us took in 2015. It's our right. But continuing to pretend that it was other regions, Buhari or the APC that made us do what we did then or remain where we are today is purely self deceit and I refuse to play that ostrich game. 

As far back as 2014, I and many others made that argument that Igbo Presidency was very feasible in 2023, ONLY under under the APC, ONLY IF we did a couple of things right politically. I personally continued to speak loudly on that even after the 2015 elections until when I realized that we were not ready to play the politics that was required and now I dare say it may be too late. Or is it not? Time will tell.

For now, we can continue to tell ourselves that we cannot hold the Presidency of Nigeria. I heard and read many of our brethren go from PDP to Biafra/seccesion (read IPOB) to Referendum to "Igbos do not need Presidency but Restructuring" etc forgetting that all that didn't lie squarely with us alone. We think other regions are not reading our body language?

I really don't care what Saraki writes or says because they've all come to realize that it's very easy to play us like a flute. So like Saraki, like Fani Kayode, like Fayose, like Atiku, even Jonah Jang of all people, they keep playing us.

I've learnt not to bother myself anymore to avoid unnecessary abuse from nonentities . As some of us have said, it's good governance we want, even if only one village will be producing the Presidents. So be it.

Nigeria has a population of 200million people we are told.

Our 2018 budget is 9 trillion Naira.

The Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria AMCON, the company that was set up to help the rich buy their debts, told us last month that, 350 Nigerians {out of 200million citizens} are responsible for 80% of AMCON's N5.4 trillion debt portfolio.

May be you did not hear that well!

AMCON said only 350 Nigerians borrowed N5.4trillion from banks, which they could not pay and AMCON came in to buy up those debts in other to save the commercial banks from collapsing.

To put that in perspective;
2018 Capital Budget is N2.4 trillion

2018 Recurrent Budget is N3.4 trillion

Add both capital and recurrent votes and you will get N5.8 trillion.

But 350 Nigerians, out of 200 million of us borrowed that same amount, they refused to pay and government came round to buy the debts over through AMCON.

The corporation also pointed out that, out of the millions of BVN numbers with the banks, only 100 BVNs collect 60% of bank lendings.

And this has left the banks with 13,000 bad loans worth 5.6trillion borrowed by "big men" who are now fighting to remove this administration so that they wont ever pay their debts!
Now, when they go to recover from defaulters like they did with Silverbird for example, the same cheated ignorant commoners are the first to cry fowl.

WHEN DID THE PDP START LOVING AND RESPECTING DEBATES?

1. For the 1999 presidential election, General Olusegun Obasanjo of the PDP refused to debate with Chief Olu Falae of the APP/AD coalition - Obasanjo won the election!

2. For the 2003 presidential election, President Olusegun Obasanjo of the PDP refused to debate with General Muhammadu Buhari of the ANPP - Obasanjo won the election!

3. For the 2007 presidential election, Alhaji Umaru Musa Yar'Adua of the PDP refused to debate with General Muhammadu Buhari of the ANPP - Yar'Adua won the election!

4. For the 2011 presidential election, President Goodluck Ebele Nnamdi Azikiwe Jonathan of the PDP refused to debate with General Muhammadu Buhari of the CPC - Goodluck Jonathan won the election!

5. For the 2015 presidential election, General Muhammadu Buhari of the APC refused to debate with President Goodluck Ebele Nnamdi Azikiwe Jonathan of the PDP after it emerged that the organizers of the debate have carefully leaked all the debate questions to President Jonathan - General Buhari won the election!

So, with the current madness of the PDP and their poorly educated minions shouting about a debate, and even posting on their unedifying social media pages that Buhari MUST debate or resign, one is compelled to ask that at what time or at what point in our country's political history did the PDP start loving debates? By the way, what is even a debate? The fact that the PDP left 27 states broke to the point that they owed workers' salaries for upwards of 14 months despite selling crude oil at $142 per barrel and Buhari came and bailed them out with oil selling at $27 per barrel has made the PDP lose whatever debate they want!

How about the pensions and gratuities of workers of the Nigerian Airways, Nigerian Railways Corporation, NITEL, M-TEL, NEPA and other public outfits which the PDP killed and refused to pay during their 16 years of ruinous rule but which Buhari is now settling in spite of not earning even half of what PDP earned in revenues? Hasn't this won the debate and election for President Buhari already? In all honesty, can the PDP have answers for such questions in any debate?

And can the PDP even answer debate questions on why it took the coming of Buhari as President for the roads they neglected to begin to be rebuilt? If the debate moderator asks Alhaji Atiku Abubakar to say something to President Buhari on the road Buhari is building to Jada, Atiku's village, what will he say? Will he thank Buhari or will he say ''the PDP initiated the road and forgot to implement it''? And can Atiku Abubakar explain in any debate what the PDP did with the $16 billion they purportedly spent on giving Nigerians electricity between 1999 and 2007 alone but which only megawatts of darkness was given to Nigerians?

In just 3 years out of PDP's 16 years ruinous rule, the PDP under the presidency of Goodluck Ebele Nnamdi Azikiwe Jonathan purportedly spent about 700 billion naira on their so called SURE-P Programme, which is almost the annual budgets of about 10 states in Nigeria, but no one has seen the fruit or results of this monumental ''investment'' in our economy - no industries were built by any of ''the beneficiaries'' and neither has it translated into the diversification of the country's economy through agriculture and other production sectors, just as it has not resulted in the revamping of the textile factories and other industries that were alive and productive when the PDP took over from the military. In the end, PDP's unexplained use of such humongous sums of our country's finances over time resulted in Nigeria now becoming the poverty capital of the world!

How can anyone or any country spend such humongous sums on social investment, and yet the country ends up being the world's poverty capital? Where are the beneficiaries and who are they? What did they do with such large sums that they received from the federal government? Even if they drank beer or smoked weed with the monies, shouldn't it have still boosted the country's economy? Now, can the PDP or Alhaji Atiku Abubakar answer such queries at any debate?

Very poignantly, just today, the day of the so called presidential debate, President Buhari commissioned a water port at Baro, Niger State, which is the first of its kind in northern Nigeria, a successful programme that will ease the movement of heavy industrial goods and equipment to the northern part of the country through ships, which then boosts the local economy of the north and hence that of Nigeria in general. Why did the PDP fail to do this noble project throughout their 16 years of ruinous rule? Equally important is, while the PDP is polluting Nigeria's healthy airspace with hypocritical noises about a debate, work on the Second Niger Bridge in Southeastern Nigeria is in full progress under the leadership of President Buhari. Wasn't this the very same project that the PDP converted to a mere campaign promise for the Igbo?

So many questions over the 16 wasted years of the PDP at any debate but serious Nigerians are more focused on fixing and clearing the pungent rot they created and left behind than wasting more precious time in debating a horde of thieves and gangsters
on live TV!

President Buhari's superlative performance in just three years has defeated PDP's 16 years absence at debates and their grossly poor performance for Nigerians!

I was at his ward in Ita-eko, Abeokuta, she did not win that ward talk-less of senatorial district. He tried killing the then opponent, the present Sen Tejuoso, when that was not successful, he had him disqualified by EFCC. Even after the disqualification, Tejuoso stlll won the polls, but Iyabo was declared the winner.

OBJ is the author of win by any means.

Now he can see the picture of defeat of his anoited Atiku, he is already crying wolf about an election that is yet to happen.

I have read so many posts/comments on the CJN Saga. I am shocked by the input of many and thus felt compelled to chip in this note on the matter.

What is wrong with Nigerians that almost none is asking the one billion dollar question - what is about $3.0m doing in a CJN domiciliary account that he FORGOT to declare?

We are talking of CJN who suppose to know more about laws of Nigeria than any other Nigerian at this point in time. An Engineer like me even know that "ignorance is a not a defence in a court of Law", TALKLESS OF THE CHEIF JUSTICE OF NIGERIA. Any Lawyer anywhere in the world would have been taught that in LAW-101 class and that should have stuck to his brain just like Newtons 1st Law of motion is stuck in the brain of any Engineer be him/her Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, etc in any part of the world.

Can you image how bad we have gone as a Nation when the CJN can publicly come out as say "he forgot to declare an account holding about $3.0m". It is an insult on our collective intelligence as a Nation. If it is China, he will be facing death sentence as we speak or he would have committed suicide. If it is the Western world, he would have resigned by now.

I don't know how we will move forward as nation when some people can even think of defending such CJN after the public admittance. Yet we will be expecting government to transform our fortunes overnight while defending those that are stealing our commonwealth.

Our major problem is we "tribalize" and "politicize" every issue without addressing the core of matter. We have left the core matter that the CJN (The Chief Lawman of Nigeria) flouted the law of the land and admitted so publicly and now turned the matter to a case of PMB is persecuting "our son"/"a political opponent"

Let the truth be said, the supposed CJN is not the "Chief Justice of Nigeria" but a "Thief of Justice of Nigeria". Let him go and defend his "forgetfulness" in court of law with the 140 SANs (Senior "Arufins" of Nigeria). Arufin in Yoruba means Law flouter/Law Dis-respecter. He needs to tell us how he made $3.0m as the CJN.

Atiku is just telling us the kind of person he is - a dumb and corrupt soul. He telling us that if he the president (God forbid), some people will be above the law of Nigeria.

The CJN is man of Law, it should be a very simple thing for him to go and defend himself in a court of Law that he heads. Let him go and defend his admitted forgetfulness and omissions in court of law. He will be passing the message that Dino and co are not above the of Nigeria.

Irrespective of position, anybody that commits offence should be made to prove themself at the court of law. When did facing court of law becomes TYRANNICAL?

When a Senator that is supposed to make and defend law is running away from facing a court of law where he can prove his innocence or otherwise, and you call his arrest an act of tyranny, you need to get yourself a brain.
