Exactly @Fayose. What we are seeing is arranged abduction, arrange release and arrange payment in millions of Euros for boko-Haram.
So if it is an arranged abduction, arranged release and arranged payment, why did Fayose join the "Bring Back Our Dapci Schoolgirls" Movement?

God gave us brain to think, please let us use it, especially when we are on social networks.

Fayose's time is nearly up. Before the end of this year after the end of Governorship immunity, we will talk then.
SportsArsenal - What Needs To Change by BabaAduras(op): 9:48pm On Jan 31, 2018
Arsenal my beloved team has been active in the market for some years back including the present transfer window. We sold keys players and bought key players to replace the sold players.

However, results have been same - woeful performances round the clock with flashes of brilliance once in a while. The begging question is why is so?

I think we are making changes in the wrong areas. What we should be changing are the board members for not sacking the Manager Arsene Wenger all this while instead they give him money to waste in the transfer market without commensurate results.

The truth is Wenger has maxed out. He cannot move that team forward again. If Arsenal should buy Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Lewandoski, Suarez and give them to Arsene Wenger, the results will remain woeful performance overall with a flash of brilliance once in a while. He does not know how to coach a team to be resilient.

On the other hand, if you give the present crop of players to Managers like Klopp, Conte, Pep, Diego Simone, you will be shocked at what they will produce within a short period of time. I am not a fan of Defensive Monrinho, that is why I did not include him. The players will not suit his style of football.

So with Auba, Mtky, Lacazzet, Ozil, Wilshere, Bellerin, Mustaphy, KO, Kolasnic, etc, we will still struggle to come 6th with Arsene Wenger in- Charge. That is the reality.

To move Arsenal forward, we need to get rid of Wenger and get a Manager of the mould of Diego Simone who train the team not only to play fine football but to be resilient and be ready fight from beginning of a game to the end of it to get results.

Crude oil never averaged $90 under Obasanjo .
On the day Obasanjo became president , the price of crude oil was $9 / barrel .
He started saving at $15/ barrel
It rose to a maximum of 30something dollar a barrel by the end of his first term
Which OBJ era are you talking about? The military era or the civilian era?

I will not bother responding to the obvious flaws in the article . The writer in trying to impress revealed himself to lack knowledge of the complicated working of Nigeria and even the underlying economy.

********He did not add one coach to the national railway ***********
Is this writer for real?
Is this writer expecting the coaches to be put on rail lines which were under repairs after being abandoned for over 20 years .
A coach does not a railway system make .

How did he become a moral compass?
It is simple to answer .
He left Nigeria better than he met it .
From a few jobs in oil ,gas , civil service( That was about all there was)
By the end of Obasanjo tenure there was millions of new jobs in

Telecommunications ( mobile and internet)
Banking
Insurance
Entertainment
Construction
Manufacturing

He also left an healthy bank balance .
You can fault Obasanjo's politics but his handling of the economy and national security is not one of them.
Your aguement falls on its head for the following reasons

If during OBJ regime that lasted 8 years when crude was selling at an average of $90 he could not revamp the railway, he could not revive the refineries after spending about $12b, he could not revamp power sector after spending over $16b. For goodness sake, he could not complete Lagos-Abeokuta Road the passes through Ota (his farm) and Ifo-Ibogun (his birth place) not to talk of East-West Road or 2nd Niger Bridge, why is he now condemning PMB regime achievements within 3 years with crude at an average $55 per barrel.

His letter is the height is hypocrisy. He is just playing on gullible Nigerians intelligence. He is not in a position and we never be able to match PMB achievements.

OBJ that I know will condemn anything that will shade him. Remember, after June 12 election he said Abiola was not the Messiah, does he think he is the Messiah?

I do give it to him he made savings in ECA and foreign reserve, so PMB is doing with our merger earnings now on top of all the lofty projects and the ongoing diversification of economy.

We should learn to give kudos to whoever that deserves it. I give the highest kudos to PMB and his team for he courage and drive to move Nigeria from the brinks of total collapse and setting us on the path of recovery which will ultimately lead to bouyancy. I have to say we are not there yet, but we are on the way there the way we are going in Agric, mining of other minerals, building of refineries, North-South Rail projects, Lagos-Calabar Rail projects, 2nd Niger bridge, road repairs and constructions, blocking of leaks in government spendings, etc.

Remember, these are all happening when our main source of income (crude oil) crashed.

Appropriate Response To Obasanjo by Simon Kolawole:

Obasanjo as Nigeria's moral compass

Simon Kolawole Live | THISDAY | 18 January 2015

For the life of me, I will never understand how former President Olusegun Obasanjo does it. When you think he is done, he has just begun. I have watched in utter amusement how he has, yet again, wangled his way into the front page of newspapers on a daily basis. I don’t know of any other former head of state elsewhere who has turned himself into the subject and object of national attention long after he has left power. Obasanjo is always there, always scheming, always screaming. It is his luck, I must say, but, as a mere mortal, I often wonder why some guys have all the luck.

Obasanjo, amazingly, has become a god or a saint to many Nigerians. Many politicians, commentators, journalists, activists and youths who used to criticise him are now celebrating him as our moral compass. The people he has brutalised before — such as Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi — go to Abeokuta to genuflect to him. Even Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, of all people, goes to Obasanjo's house to pay homage. And President Goodluck Jonathan goes to Abeokuta to kowtow to him, with two respected pastors in tow.

How does Obasanjo do it? Can anyone help me out? He has a word on every issue. He expresses his opinion so forcefully, so eloquently and so mischievously that you just cannot ignore him. He loves to criticise what he is patently guilty of. He loves to vilify anyone who does not worship at his temple. There is no accusation Obasanjo throws at anyone that he himself is not double guilty of. He has launched ferocious media attacks against most of his successors — President Shehu Shagari, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida, President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua and Jonathan. Only Gen. Sani Abacha pre-empted him by throwing him into jail before he could open his mouth.

Obasanjo complains about corruption and Nigerians hail him. What's his moral high ground? Can someone tell me? Has anybody never heard about the Halliburton and Siemens scandals? The damning reports are there in the attorney-general's office. Does the name Dr. Julius Makanjuola ring a bell? Under Obasanjo, he was the permanent secretary of the ministry of defence implicated in a N421 million scandal. Mysteriously, the case was abruptly closed with Nolle Prosequi (no further prosecution) — the first in Nigeria's history.

Well, Obasanjo went on to set up the anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), headed by Malam Nuhu Ribadu, which — in fairness — did kick the backsides of many politicians. But EFCC could not tackle Obasanjo's own corruption: from the obscene fundraiser for his private library to his shareholding in Transcorp — a company that was getting juicy stuff from a government superintended by Obasanjo. Have we all forgotten the scandalous waivers granted to all kinds of human beings, officially defrauding our treasury billions of dollars?

Does anybody remember that Obasanjo was in power for eight years and we kept importing fuel, with PDP financiers getting the contracts through local and foreign fronts? Forgotten so easily? Does anybody remember how much we spent on repairing refineries that kept "knocking" for the eight years that Obasanjo was in power? Does anybody still remember Obasanjo saying on national TV that he did not know the price of kerosene and it was "unacceptable" that it was more expensive than petrol? How does Obasanjo get away with hoodwinking Nigerians?

Do we still remember that Obasanjo did not resolve the electricity problem for eight years? Do we still remember the "$16 billion spent on power without results" for which Obasanjo arrogantly refused to appear before the House probe panel? Is it that we have forgotten that the damning report was killed? Do we still remember that Obasanjo did not add one coach to the railways throughout his tenure despite spending billions of dollars? Does anybody still remember how many federal highways were in terrible state for the eight years that Obasanjo spent in power? Have we forgotten the Benin-Shagamu road saga? Just like that?

When Obasanjo discusses insecurity, I cringe. From every available evidence, Boko Haram started right under his nose. If he had aborted the foetus, maybe we wouldn't be engaged in fire-fighting today. I have heard many Nigerians say, perhaps innocently, that if Obasanjo had been in power he would have crushed Boko Haram by now. Really? How well did he crush the less complex militancy in the Niger Delta? Was it not under Obasanjo that the militancy started in 2004 and flourished?

To the best of my knowledge, militants were bombing oil installations and kidnapping oil workers with ease under Obasanjo. At a stage, daily crude oil production fell to about 900,000 barrels — from the height of 2.5m. In fact, we were later told that why Obasanjo picked Jonathan as the running mate to Yar'Adua was to appease the Niger Delta. Of course, nobody was appeased. The attacks continued until Yar'Adau offered an amnesty deal. How these facts conveniently escape us is beyond my understanding.

Insecurity? Abacha's regime aside, more Nigerians were assassinated under Obasanjo's watch than at any time in our history. The abridged roll-call: Chief Bola Ige, a serving minister; Chief Marshall Harry, co-ordinator of the Buhari presidential campaign in 2003; Chief AK Dikibo, PDP chieftain and ally of former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar; Chief Uche Ogbonnaya (OGB), an ANPP senatorial candidate in Imo state in 2003; and Mr. Barnabas Igwe and his wife, Amaka, in Onitsha. The assassins were never unmasked. What is insecurity?

How did Obasanjo become our moral compass? How did he become such a highly sought-after role model? Has anybody ever managed to read the affidavit Obasanjo's own son, Gbenga, filed while seeking a divorce from his wife on the ground of incest and adultery? It doesn't matter? Has anybody ever taken time to read the letter Iyabo wrote to her father, giving graphic details of his megalomania and duplicity? It doesn't matter? Has anybody ever done a recap of the blatant rigging of elections under the "saint"? It doesn't matter?

Obasanjo pontificates on impunity and we hail him. What happened to us? Dr. Chris Ngige, as governor of Anambra state, was abducted by Obasanjo's associates. Have we forgotten the illegal impeachment of Alhaji Rashidi Ladoja as governor of Oyo state? What about the impeachment of Chief Joshua Dariye as governor of Plateau by eight out of 24 lawmakers? For three years, Obasanjo unconstitutionally withheld Lagos council allocations because of political differences. It took Yar'Adua only a few days in power to undo the impunity.

They say, 'Oh, Obasanjo is a patriot. He has the best interest of Nigeria at heart.' Really? Can Obasanjo look up to heavens and say, solemnly, that he had the best interest of Nigeria at heart when he was picking his successor? Such a character cannot be my own moral compass. With a moral compass like Obasanjo, though, Nigeria is doomed and damned. Copied

Nigeria is a wonderful place where all the "thieves that stole our commonwealth to near extinction" are now terming themselves as opinion leaders on the way forward for the Nigeria. It is a shame.

I am a Christian Yoruba man, I have no reason whatsoever to regret the association of Southwest with the Northerners.

If you go through the history of Nigeria Leaders, I have come to realisation that when it comes to stealing of our commonwealth, there is no tribal distinctions between the tribe of the looters, but when it comes to having the gut to ignore consequences of been unpopular and move the country forward, it is only the Leaders from the North that have excelled.

After the civil war what we have had are

Gowon/Awolowo - clueless, did not take right decisions to invest in our future in the midst of abundance.
Muritala/Obasanjo - though short stay, put the country on the part to greatness.
Obasanjo/Yaradua - live and lets live. Did a little to move the country forward.
Shagari/Ekuweme - live and lets live. Did nothing to move the country forward. Start of regression.
Buhari/Idiagbon - the best we have ever had. Ignore popularity vote, put the country on path to greatness with the very short stay.
Babangida/Ikuwe - reversed all the gains of previous administration to win popularity vote. Popularised corruption, battered the moral fabric of the nation.
Shonekan - never ruled. He was just a figure-head. Abacha was in command.
Abacha/Diya - Institutionalised corruption. Destroyed all the moral fabric of the nation.
Abdusalam/huh - Live and lets live, Looting continued. Made no effort to correct anything or rock the boat till he handed over to OBJ.
Obasanjo/Atiku - Pretended to be our saviour while amassing huge wealth to themselves. Looting and live and lets live continued. Pretending to be fighting corruption only to use EFCC to fight his political opponents. Promoted political assassinations.
Yaradua/Jonathan - started brilliantly but bad-health made him loose control of government. Looting started again after loss of control.
Jonathan/Sambo - the worst looting spree ever recorded in the annals of the country. Looting during Abacha/Diya regime pales compared to what obtained during this era. Looted Nigeria to near extinction. Had no gut to take any serious decisions to move the country forward. Was termed the clueless one. Promoted militancy and political assassinations to the highest level. Riff-rafts from nowhere were really running the show with Mama P. He was never in control of the nation.
Buhari/Osinbajo - Struggling to reintroduce moral values to a battered people and trying to bring Nigeria with battered economy back from the brink of extinction. Fighting corruption at all levels and becoming very unpopular as usual because he hurting powerful people that have huge stolen resources at their disposal. Moving the country in the right direction in all way. Time will tell the remaining story.

These are facts, it only the Muslim Hausas/Fulanis that have anytime tried to take the bull by the horn and move the country in the right direction.

A man named Bright Ugochukwu narrowly escaped death last December.

Ugochukwu took to his Facebook page to thank God and share his testimony on how a start bullet came from nowhere and hit him in his left chest very close to his heart in his bedroom.

Read what he wrote below,

"Only fools says there is no God. Brethren, please follow me in thanking God for saving my life when the devil tries to snatch it away from me. As God has promised never to allow His children to be defeated. The devil wanted to end my life before the year runs off in 2017 but as usual God is always there to fight and protect me. Around 11pm on 15th December 2017 after some usual activities at the church, i lay down on my bed to sleep, suddenly a bullet pierced through the zinc and pvc and landed on my left chest close to the heart. I hardly breathe at that moment, I just remain calm and continue to reassure my self that nothing will happen to me and my mother started calling out for all the saints in heaven to intervene on my behalf. It seems they held an emergency meeting for my sake and started praying and pleading to God to save me. God didn’t forsake me at this time, he answered my prayer and all the prayers offered for my sake. Chest X-ray revealed that the bullet didn’t touch the heart, no ribs were damaged and no fractures seen. I pray that He continue to heal and protect me and my family and also the people that have trust in Him. Glory be to God now and forever more …AMEN"

I think you need to get your facts right and clear you mind of "Pastor Worshipping", start believing BIBLE not PASTORS. It is the likes of you that Pastors will tell to drink poison and you will. They will tell you God will only bless you when you pay your Tithe and you will believe it. News, God's blessings is not conditioned by whatever we do. It is sovereignty over us, He will bless whoever He choose to bless, remember "it is not for those that runneth or willeth, I will have mercy on who I have mercy on" so sayeth the Lord of Host.

The fact that Freeze is talking about false doctrine been perpetuated by "Pastorprenuers" does not make him "Anti-Christ". Can you quote anywhere Freeze has spoken against Christ.

Bible says "my people perish because they lack knowledge". Read the bible yourself and pray for understanding from Christ, stop depending on what the Pastorprenuers will quote on the pulpit. When you have the understanding, you will then know the Truth, and, "The Truth shall set you free" and "he who The Son set free, shall be free indeed".

It is unfortunate that we wallow in the pit of self deception in the name of religion. Instead of preaching having Christ and working smart and working diligently, what we hear from the pulpit is bring all you have to the church and Jesus will miraculously make you a billionaire. People looking for miracle do believe this bullshit.

Yes it is true that "you are as rich as you think you are" but remember thinking you are rich will not put food on your table nor will it pay your rent and bills. It is working smart and working diligently with the blessing of God that will do these things for you. The core of this is that blessing of God does not depend on how much you bring to the church. It is His grace - you don't earn it. Any Preacher that says you will be blessed upon fulfilling certain conditions (especially monetary conditions) is deceiving you. The bible says "it is not for those that willeth or runneth, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy". The bible also says "our 'works' are like filthy rags onto Him"

Preaching to believers they are richer than Dangote because they have Christ is a dicey one. So if Dangote have Christ or Allah is in his life, who is richer?

You said "Don't tell a man how to spend his fortune if u didn't contribute a dime", so why should a Pastor tell me how to spend my money when he did not contribute a dime? Is Pastor God that provided the fortune? Why should a Pastor curse those that are not tithing to the church?

I believe in tithing but stopped paying my tithes to the church about 10 years ago after I accidentally watched Pastor Tunde Bakare preached with Duet 14: 22 to the end. Oh God!!!

Can God just help us bring back this corrupt GEJ, so that we can buy bag of rice for 7,500...

This non corrupt govt is killing us slowly!!
You have no inkling of the cause of your present situation. Remember, one is always a product of the past. The Present state of Nigeria now is a product of the past actions/inactions of the past administration(s). They failed to save and build to secure our future, when we are facing the consequences of those failures to save and build in past, we are now blaming the present.

I have come to the realization of the fact that one of the major problems of Nigerians in "immediacy". We do not think of the future consequences of our actions/inactions and we do not look back to learn from our past. We live in the immediacy, we want everything now. It is always now, now and now.

That is why we can collect N2000 as a price for our vote - immediate gratification without knowing the agenda of who we are selling the vote to, why we give bribe to Police - we do not want to go through the legal process, why some drop out of school - do not want to go through pains of study, why some steal - immediate wealth, can not wait to build wealth through hard work, put life savings in MMM - immediate wealth, the list goes on and on and on. It is all about immediacy. Yet we forget that for every action/inaction, there are always consequences.

Same goes for your request, you want immediate relief (buying rice at N7500) without looking back at what got you to the present (buying rice at N15000) state with the aim of learning from it, and, you do not care about the future consequences (buying rice maybe at N30000) of bring the looters back on you and your children. For you, it is sadly the same problem of immediacy. You even have the audacity to say "this non-corrupt government is killing us slowly". What a shame! what a show of stupidity.

We need to learn from past to build a better future. This present administration does think about immediacy alone, they are looking to build a better future for Nigeria and Nigerians. That process will take us through some hardship.

Go ask Lawyers, Doctors, Pharmacists, Engineers, etc, the hardship they went through to get them to where they are today. It is all about future building.

EVEN THE PRIMARY SUSPECT DASUKI HAS BEEN WITH THEM FOR OVER 2.5YEARS WITHOUT ANY TRY.
.GOVERMENT OF PROPAGANDA, LIES AND DECEPTION.
How do you think government will get quick convictions with all the corrupt judges? With all the corrupt people like you wiping out sentiments in favour looters because you are facing hardship?

The irony of your pathetic support for the looters is they caused your hardship by putting the economy in recession by their wanton looting of our commonwealth.

Nigerians indeed do have very short memory.
PoliticsBetween APC And PDP - You Choose by BabaAduras(op):
To me, IF THEY DON'T HAVE SENSE, OTHERS HAVE.
IF APC is not the answer to our Problems, there is no reason going back to the instigators of the problem.
I'm not a politician but I would do everything not to have PDP in Government in Nigeria.

The greatest tragedy that can befall a nation is for her citizens to suffer collective amnesia. I believe PDP believes Nigerians have short memories, if not, Ibori would not have been included in their convention committee and Jonathan would not have been allowed to talk (He ended up indicting himself as usual anyway).

For those who may have forgotten, kindly joggle your memories with the following words on marble and you will agree with me that what happened in Eagle square on saturday was nothing but gathering of rogues.
Happy reading:

1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki

2. I didn't give order - Jonathan

3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu

4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George

5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa

6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena.

7. I got N2.1b from Dasuki for publicity - Dokpesi

8. I got another N100m from Yuguda he didn't tell me from where - Bafarawa.

9. I gave N100m each to Odili, Jim Nwobodo Bode George and others - Yuguda

10. The president asked me to change N10B to foreign currency for PDP delegates - Dasuki

11. My boss asked me to get $11M from the CBN - Dasuki's account officer.

12. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG.

13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau

With all this looting and many more revealed, some people are still shouting no sign of change yet, they even say it's political persecution.

But I believe, it is the right thing to do.
If you believe too, send this to other people to garner more support for the fight against corruption and looting in our nation. There must be consequences for such crimes otherwise Nigeria will not develop.

Hedonistically:
I agree with Adeboye this one time.

I would be extremely sad if anyone wishes me bad for bad belle sake and yet breathes the air of life for an extra second.

Die die die mo'fuckers die!

And let me die if I wish anyone bad too. Fair enough.
I guess you made the air of life that your enemy is breathing. Even the air of life you are breathing, you made it.

Since MFM people have been praying Fire and death on their enemies, how many of their so called enemies have died? They have continuously say this prayers for themselves to be alive.

I am not going to comment on GO's prayer, but for you I advise you leave your enemies to God. The bible says "if our ways pleases God, he will make our enemies become our friend and our helpers". So try and make your ways to please God, every other thing is secondary.

Buhari's fan base has always been Kano
It would be a tragedy if he rules this country again

See them waving at him like he's one Messiah
Tragedy for you and your corrupt employer or family. It will be the most welcoming thing to happen to upright and forward thinking Nigerians.

In summary, supporting Buhari was a monumental mistake - Dele Momodu

Lalasticlala
What Dele Momodu is saying in no news. He has said same about other Presidents. He changes tune depending on the highest bidder.

He was expecting the position of Press Secetary to the President in the PMB government, he did not get that, now Atiku came calling, suddenly he became sentimental. Is that news? Rather, it is expected.

Who cares about what you feel or do? It is your business. You only do it for your pocket.

newbornmacho:
Thunder fire IBB...mtcheewww....useless corruption master. Atiku should please pursue his constitutional rights and not listen to people who never won even a local council election in Nigeria. IBB is not a Democrat and has not earned the right to lecture anybody on democracy, he should be serving jail time for coup plotting and looting of the treasury. Nonsense. fool.
If you and Atiku believe IBB is irrelevant, why did he travel to Minna to seek his endorsement?

I said it not long back, Atiku is dead on arrival. Igbo politicians will not support Atiku because he will jettison their presidential hope in 2023, Yorubas will not vote for him because he is corrupt and wants to rule by all means and his predency will result in the north ruling for 12 continuous years. Foeget the north, nobody can touch PMB in the north central and north west. So where will his votes come from? From North East and from IPOBs because of their hate for PMB?

Do the arithmetic, Atiku is dead on arrival. He should go and wait till 2031, PMB will rule till 2023 to be followed by an Igbo Presidency for 8 years, then it will be the turn of the north again. That will be in 2031, he can run then if he is still alive. He lost his golden opportunity when he backbitten OBJ. If he had been patient, he would have naturally taken over from OBJ.

Moslems have no business fighting over Jerusalem anymore than Christians have over mecca.
You do not understand the dynamics of Jerusalem. The fight over Jerusalem is not between Christianity and Islam. The fact is most Jews (Isrealis) are not Christians, they practice Judaism.

When are we going to learn to stop seeing things in Religious/tribal colorations?
