The only reason you might not agree with me is either you part of the thieves, you have benefitted, still benefitting from the stealing or you are completely stupid.

Take it as gospel truth, truly, truly I say unto thee, you will see different shades of Fayose and hear different tunes him before the end of this year. This is just the beginning.

Take from someone who knows Fayose from his exploits in student union politics at Federal Poly, Ilaro. He is no different from Omisore - they are both Bullies and Cowards.

Fayose is a joker. The karma awaiting him begins with the 2018 governorship election. Did he think he would get away with the coup he executed with Jonathan, Obanikoro and Momoh? And then his constant attacks on the APC and the President. Fayose should make no mistakes about it, the APC will go all out to take ekiti like their lives depended on it.
Thank you my brother. I can bet Fayose will start singing a different tune before the end of this year.

Remember, he was the first PDP governor to congratulate PMB. All the noise he is making now was because he was rebuffed by PMB and APC. He will soon start begging and singing praises of PMB towards the end of his tenure to protect his ass because he is going to loose the protection he is enjoying now.

I will remind you when the change of tune starts. Take it from somebody that knows Fayose from his days as a student of Federal Poly, Illaro.

At least the Northern Followership are exposing and shaming the corrupt thieves within their Leadership. What is happening with the Followership of the South-South and West? Celebrating and Protecting the thieves within their Leadership. A good and unfortunate examples are the cases of Ibori and Tompolo in South-South and Bode George in the West.

The begging question is who were leading the country in the recent time when the northerners were stealing? OBJ (West) and GEJ (South-South). How can you then shamelessly call the Northerners "corrupt people ever liveth"?

How much was found in PEJ's acct? $15m and still searching. How much in Deziani acct? $153m and still searching. How much with GEJ's cousin? How much with the NIMASA guy? How much with Tompolo? the list can go on and on.

By the way, for your records, I am a Yoruba man (an Afonja as labeled on Nairaland), so you know I am not coming from the point of tribalistic colorations.

JamieBlog:
A man who drank an insecticide two weeks to his wedding, because of the heartbreak MMM crash gave him last year, is dead. The heartbroken man who in turn left his bride heartbroken, died on Monday evening around Kubwa in Bwari Area Council of Abuja.
Image result for man in a morgue
A family source who pleaded anonymity, said Adakole died from stomach complications as
a result of the poison he took last year.

“Yes, he died this evening. His body has been deposited at the mortuary as we speak,” he said.

On efforts to recover the deceased's money, the source had this to say;

“No, he was not paid. In fact, he threatened to arrest his guider before the stomach upset returned last week and we rushed him to the hospital where he finally died. I don’t even think MMM is back, if not Adakole would have been the first they would consider. We attempted to reach them to recover Adakole’s money but they kept telling us to provide help to get help; obviously, the scheme has crashed."

Daily Post's effort to speak to the deceased's fiancee, whose name was given as Chenemi, proved abortive, as she was crying uncontrollably alongside other family members, at her family house in Dutse. Their wedding had been rescheduled for May this year, before his demise on Monday.

It is a shame that the dead guy was greedy enough to invest in MMM, but it is a tragedy that he killed himself.

No matter what, nothing should be bigger than life because when there is life, there is hope. Now for the guy, it is judgment at the court of Baba God.

RIP to the dead, God will grant the family and would-have-been-wife the strength and fortitude to bear the loss.

The list is endless. They only left what they can't carry or unable to lay their hands on. The list continues.....
Recession didn't just happen, people looted Nigeria into RECESSION happening....

NOW HEAR THE THIEVES:

1. I acted based on Jonathan's instruction - Dasuki

2. I didn't give order - Jonathan

3. I collected 350M from Dasuki for consultation - Iyorchia Ayu

4. I only collected $30,000 from Dasuki not N100m - Bode George

5. I got N4.6b from Dasuki for spiritual purposes - Bafarawa

6. I got N650M from Dasuki for my Abuja burnt office - Thisday Obaigbena.

10. The president asked me to change N10B to foreign currency for PDP delegates - Dasuki

11. My boss asked me to get $11M from the CBN - Dasuki's account officer.

12. I got order from above to pay Tompolo N13B for Maritime university land. - Nimasa DG.

13. 950m was shared in my house -- Shekarau

With all this looting and many more revealed, some people are still shouting no sign of change yet, they even say it's political persecution.

I do not believe in forced breakup of Nigeria. The truth is when we stop fighting the north, the fight will shift to between the major tribes (Igbo vs Yoruba, Yoruba vs Ijaw, Igbo vs Ijaw etc). After then, it will be minor languages (Kalabari vs Ikwuere, Efik vs Ibibio, Urobo vs Isoko Egba vs Ijebu, Awori vs Yewa etc). How far will go with the breakup?

I think there is huge strength and advantages in our diversity. We just need to manage and harness these advantages and build on the strength doing things that build trust in each other.

If we decide to breakup for whatever reasons, it has to be peaceful because we have so interwoven. I know many people that have married across the divides. I know Youbas who are married to Igbos and vice versa, there Igbos who are married to Hausas and vice versa and there are also Hausas who are married to Yourbas and so on and so on. How do we manage that if the breakup is not peaceful.

You are entitled to vote for anybody of your choice. I voted for Buhari because I believed and still believe he was the better of the two main contestants. I will still vote for him if I am given the same options. The only thing that will change that is if I see a better candidate (somebody in the mold of Peter Obi). But the truth is, it will be very difficult for somebody in that mold to get there because of corruption of you and I - we always select the highest bidder, someone who can dash out the biggest amount from the ward levels to the presidential primaries.

But comment was not addressing the person we voted for. It was addressing what will change our situation in Nigeria. If we do not become responsible citizens, even if we have 10 Obamas or 10 Obis ruling us, our situation will simply not change. We hurt ourselves more that our leaders hurt us. We will cheat and break laws at the slightest opportunity, why are we expecting anything different from our Leaders with all the opportunity at their disposal?

WE NEED A REVOLUTION! !!
I lost hope in Nigeria and Nigerians long time ago when Bode George completed his prison term and was released. I happened to be around Kirikiri area that day. I saw a trailer loaded with musical instruments and crowd of people that were there to welcome him and celebrate his release. I also watched the 'thanksgiving service' on tv and was shocked by array of political leaders that attended the service.

So, I am not one bit shocked that Nigerians are now welcoming and celebrating Ibori. Very soon, he (Ibori) will be controlling the politics of Delta state and will continue his stealing by proxy just like Bode George is doing in Lagos.

It is just a shame of the highest order. I do not foresee any change in our political terrains and our situation in Nigeria with the kind of morally corrupt 'Followership' we have. A wise saying in political science said 'in a democratic dispensation, the Followership deserves the Leadership they get'

The unfortunate part of the story is that we the Followership do not recognize that we are the architect of our 'sufferations'. We keep on blaming the Leadership. In the recent years I can not remember any government we have not blamed. If Obama is brought to rule Nigeria, we will celebrate in the beginning, but after 3 months we will be back to status quo because he will not be able to perform miracles we will be expecting. Remember how we all celebrated Buhari when he was elected. When the reality dawned on us that he will not lie to us and he can not perform miracles, our music suddenly changed.

I am sure the same will repeated itself when Buhari completes his tenure.

The revolution we need is simple, let us be a 'responsible citizen' of Nigeria. I can bet you majority of us are not responsible citizens of Nigeria and we are the ones failing ourselves. That is the change (revolution) we need.

InvestmentRe: 3 Reasons Why MMM Scheme Fooled Nigerians by BabaAduras: 7:51pm On Feb 02, 2017
condomuser:
It is notable to understand how the MMM Ponzi scheme started and the various factors that helped the Guiders deceive Nigerians into investing their hard earner money.

Without going into much history about MMM, here are the most important reasons why MMM were able to fool Nigerians.

1. They started with a free money promotional campaign ie 30% bonus. As bad as it may sound, the first set of real people who got paid 30% of what they had invested were used as the promotional scapegoats to lure their friends, families and others.

The MMM platform continued its promotional payments of 30%, 40% as the case may be. A lot of Nigerians were enticed with this mouthwatering offer to the extent they couldn't resist joining the scheme. Most of the second set of participants knew quite well they were joining a scam but they just couldn't resist the deal from Hell.

2. MMM website stated "Invest your spare money". Seriously, is there anything like spare money when you live in an unpredictable country like Nigeria.
MMM studied its target market carefully and realized the best way to get more investors is to openly state "invest your spare money". This way you are tormented by your conscience when you invest little thereby you fall for them by investing more, the target market are gullible Nigerians who are so greedy and foolishly ignorant.

3. Greed Greed Greed
An average Nigerian wants to get rich quick "I don't blame some", but I blame the people who deceitfully lured others into joining the scheme. The guiders and individuals greed to get more bonuses was a strong driving force which made the MMM scheme a huge success. Irrespective of the fact that Mavrodi's details has been all over the Internet as a Russian Criminal Nigerians neglected all the hand writing on the wall.

I must say its unfortunate greed played a major role in the MMM scheme. Let's be watchful as the rise of schemes like this is yet to come.

There are currently other schemes on ground silently gathering popularity, let's not let our greed take over our morals.

Protect your money.
I totally agreed with all the points you made.

I can bet that 5 to 10 years down the line, the trick will come up again in another form and Nigerians will still fall for it en-mass. Ten years ago, Nigerians fell for the likes of NOSPECTO, WEALTHZONE and many more within that window. Before then we heard of Uwanna Uwanna or Umanna Umanna.

So going by history and the greedy and get-rich-quick-at-all-cost nature of Nigerians, I am sure we will have another Ponzi scheme sooner than soon.
