RomanceRe: My Fiancé Brags Alot, He Lies About Everything by BabaAduras: 7:38pm On Feb 02, 2017
Talk2Bella:
Hey Bella please help me publish this and also advise me on the next step to take thanks.

When I met him he told me he had many things which I later found out to be lies, he was squatting but he told me his friend was the one squatting, so whenever I went to his house I would be expecting his friend to excuse us but he won’t until one day I got angry and told him he should excuse us after all that wasn’t his house, he got angry and chased me and my fiancé out that was when I knew my man was the squatter.

We raised money and got an apartment together, my job pays better than his and I was recently blessed with a car, but he’s gone around to tell everyone the car is his, he told everyone he pays for our house, feeds and clothes me while I just sit back and enjoy his wealth, this attitude makes people asks him for favors and then I end up giving him money to satisfy them.

There are so many things he brags about that he doesn’t own, lands, shares, money, and a sister abroad, I am tired, whenever I catch him lying he would say people loves lies; I don’t love him anymore I want to secretly get an apartment and dump him, I don’t see myself having kids with him, my children will learn nothing good from him, am I making the right decision?

Anonymous please

Would you have fallen in love with him if it weren’t for the lies he told you? He’s a braggart and you encouraged him by not debunking claims he makes while in public, you’re a participant of his bad habits and should not feel bad now things are worse.

Love comes with its price and you’ve paid yours, leaving him secretly is not the answer, no man is born evil, circumstances might have made him who he is, have a one on one intense talk with him and let him know how you really feel, no one is prone to change, tell him the lies and brags have to stop; you already know him in Toto there’s no need for him to present himself to be someone or something he’s not, this will only work if you still loved him which you said in your email you don’t.

Even if you’re going to leave still have that talk with him, it will make things better between both of you.

Let's say I need 100k to start a business. If I go to the bank, I'll be paying 10k monthly as interest! The capital is still there. The same too with credit facilitators.

No tell me, what sort of business will I be doing in this Nigeria so as I'll be able to pay 10k as interest monthly, then I'll feed myself and my family and alsi will be able to pay the capital?

However, with MMM! Even if I can get someone to get me 20k, in I months time, I'll get 32k or 34k. Then if I invite people to it, I'll also be getting interest from their donations. And I can manage that money, let's say I contribute again for the next 3 months! I may even have close to 300k to start a good business without the headache and high BP of thinking of how to pay interest and capital.
Do not allow sentiments and greed becloud your reasoning faculty. You asked and answered that there is no business in Nigeria that will allow you pay interest of N10k on N100k loan, feed yourself and family, bla bla bla. Should you not then ask yourself what type of miracle business MMM is into that they will give you N12k on a deposit of N20k in one month after taking there own profit? Dem dey use juju make money come follow join to be Father Christmas to dash out the money?

Wake up and wise up my dear friend.

I can categorically tell you that the panic by mmm members is now widespread. You need to see what's happening on Twitter and what mmm members are all saying. I won't blame them bcus even me that have never been shaken is beginning to have a second thought about the scheme' survival, and already kicked off my plan B. Truth be told, the mmm ideology is a very good one but a lot of mistakes was done which should be corrected immediately for the scheme to stand a chance. I don't even know if the suggestions of guilders are even considered for implementation on the system. If it is, then please relate these suggestions at your next meeting.

1. All participants with confirmed mavro to GH should be made to PH 50% of their confirmed mavro, then the PH should be matched quickly to start paying others. Once PH is paid and confirmed, the participant can immediately GH old mavro while waiting for the new mavro to be matured for GH as well.

2. If the suggestion above does not work for those with huge funds in the system for instance people with 1m and above who can't afford to PH 50% which will be another 500k, then those people can PH any amount and be allowed to GH 200% of the PHed amount from their old mavro. For instance, if you have 1m in the system already, clearly it Wil be too risky to tell someone to PH 500k again to get back the previous 1m. In this case, you PH any amount of your choice. So if you PH 100k for instance, once paid and confirmed, the member can GH 200k from the old mavro, while the new mavro is locked for a month. With this, money will be back to the system and in two months, you can get back your old mavris and even start GHing your new mavro.

3. Recommitement should be enforced on the new mavro to keep people coming back to the system.

4. The idea of crediting mavros on Tuesdays and Thursdays should be scrapped and instead mavro should grow at the rate of 1% daily for 30days after which, mavro stops growing. This will reduce the Tuesdays and Thursdays pressure.

5. Many people are calling for the total disbandment of guilders, well, I don't really know exactly how much guilders earn, I believe every platforms need leaders but their bonuses should be reduced and they should be made to re PH 50% anything they GH.

If these simple measures are put in place, the system will gradually get back on its feet in a short time and people's trust will be regained again in the system, and everything will normalise again.

Truth be told, the freezing in December was not really necessary after seeing the outcome of the unfreezing. People would have just be made to GH only a percentage of their money instead of the outright freezing.

Let's not be decieved with "there are still pending PH to be matched" most of the account with those PH don't have mavro to GH in them, and as such may decline to make payment once matched and they have nothing to lose.

For those shouting for their money, most people are not willing to pay due to the fear of the unknown, but if the above measures are put in place, people will pay and the system will come back to life again.

If mmm does not act urgently, then I fear that the system will die a natural death caused only by their December freezing decision.

That is my humble submission.

CC : Basalt, Ezegozie
I am shocked that with all your grammar you could for one moment think "the idea of MMM is good". What could be good in the idea of MMM? Robbing Paul to pay Banabas?

I don't understand the logic behind it but one thing I know is that MMM is not desperate. If MMM was despirate, they would have matched me long ago. I have PHed 3 Million naira and I am waiting patiently to be matched so I can pay immediately.
I believe if MMM was drowning or sinking as the media seem to portray, they would have used the opportunity of those of us that have PHed in large figures to pay up those that GHed in small figures (but it won't be funny making those bank transactions as the number of people to be paid could be up to 50). I know so many of my colleagues (over 15) that PHed 500K and above but are waiting patiently to be matched.

So please, everyone should calm down.We were meant to use spare money only.
Below is the screen shot.
You and your greedy friends should continue to wait - patience is a virtue. When Jonathan or Obasanjo become Nigeria President again, MMM will match you.

True.
The same scenario they were trying to avoid is happening now ,they froze all accounts to prevent people from GHing all at once , now here we are in January everybody wants to GH at once. if they'd limited withdrawals to a certain amount in December (like they're doing now) people wont have left the system. I very much doubt the hope of any revival , even though I have my cash in it , I've zeroed my mind since dec.
You were foolish and greedy before, now you are wise

That FRC law was the only good thing Jonathan Administration did for poor Nigerians. The way I read it is very simple. The Church or The Mosque have the final say in this - it either you are a non profit org (non tax paying) or you are profit making (tax paying) org. Either way, there are respective laws governing the set-up.

There is nothing political in this. The law is available in one form or the other in every modern countries (UK, US, Germany, France, Australia etc). I totally support the Law to be reviewed so Government does interfere in the Spiritual side of these org.

Summarily speaking as a Christian and a member of RCCG based in the US, I totally support the Sheiks input and I totally support what has been done in RCCG. Baba Adeboye will remain our Spiritual Leader till that time it pleases God to call him to His bosom, let other people run the Administration of the Church

PoliticsChange Of RCCG Leadership - A Follow-up by BabaAduras(op): 4:33pm On Jan 09, 2017
Write up below is copied as shared by Gbenga Alabuja on Facebook Please read:

Author of the piece below is Gnenga Alabuja:

My wife was an executive of the RCF (the campus arm of the Redeem Christian Church of God) during her undergraduate days. Even after we got married, it was obvious she finds more liberty and expression worshiping with RCCG. As for me, Latter Rain Assembly has been my home Church for about 11 years now. Even when I am outside Lagos, the default for me is to logon online to join LRA rather than attend any Church around. I am extremely choosy on what I feed on especially with respect to doctrines.

In the last 3 years, I have been away from home more than 75% of the time. By default, RCCG has become a home church for my wife as a parish of the church is closer home and she understands the tenant of the Church. She is an active worker there. No wahala for us. I am not the type who will muzzle a spouse to follow my will. Her desire and aspiration should be for God first and I will support that as much as I can. Summary, we both don't presently share a common home Church.

So she returned from Church yesterday and as our custom has been, we talked about 'service' and all that transpired. Then she told me how she had to do series of explanation to some of her fellow church workers who were peddling rumours about what they wrongly assumed to be the reasons why the GO stepped aside. Summary of their stand:
* PMB forced GO to step down because of GO's comment in Ekiti. That PMB was angry cos GO praised Fayose
* It is an affront on the church and a deliberate attempt to islamise Nigeria.

Of course, I was shocked initially then I became indifferent about the matter. They can't be serious I concluded.

However, within the last 24 hours I have seen concerted efforts by some to change the narratives and steer a debate where there is none. The worry for me is not the debate. The worry is the erroneous passion it built among the cult-like followers of the proponent of these mindsets. As a people, the desire to seek the truth and challenge ourselves is lost on the alter of what a revered leader says or do. That is my worry.

Whatever I post here after isn't my attempt at rubbishing a pastor or any clergy. It is exceedingly important to say this at this juncture because I am aware that one of the Church leaders (and founder) that I have very high regards for has posted a contrary post to what I am about to say here. So sir, this isn't a personal attack.

Now to the issue at hand. The Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, for the purpose of transparency had produced 3 separate codes for Government Agencies, the Private sector and the Not For Profit Organizations (which include churches, mosques, NGOs, Political parties etc). The code for NFPO became effective in October 2016. The whole document can be accessed on the financial reporting council website. Here are the key highlights as it affects the current buzz:

"Section 3: Need for Corporate Governance in Not-for-Profit Organisations

The need for corporate governance in NFPOs is hinged on good governance and orderly succession in view of the volume of funding they attract.

Urged on by humanitarian concerns over either glaring poverty and neglect, or economic
mismanagement of some countries, donors have made significant donations directly to relevant NFPOs in the hope that they would engender greater mission fulfilment, donor value, and greater beneficiary satisfaction and trust than those given by Governments.

Apart from foreign donors, domestic donors out of conviction, knowledge, philanthropy, need, deceit or ignorance contribute large sums of money to NFPOs.

Many NFPOs operate with unknown frameworks, but with governments completely
in the dark as to both their ownership and principal accountability. In the context of
current global insurgency, the operations and funding of NFPOs raise serious security concerns, hence the need for good governance of NFPOs in the country."

Section 8 of the code talks about the Organisational structure. Three Governing Structures namely;
* the Board of trustees
* Governing board
* management committee

Section 9 is dedicated to the founder, 'visioneer' etc
Summary of what it says in my words:
* the Founder can't simultaneously be the head of the 3 governing structures for the purpose of separation of power and for the purpose of preventing the concentration of power on a single individual. Why will a pastor want to be chairman BoT, chairman governing council and chairman management committee all at the same time? Let him 'kukuma' become the choir, usher, cleaner, protocol, preacher and congregation at the same time...
* where that has been the case, the founder must relinquish leadership of 2 out of the 3 posts and shall choose to head anyone he likes subject to a ratification by the AGM or whatever name it is called
* where the founder has occupied the leadership of the 3 governing structure for a period more than 10 years each, he can only be a board of trustee leader especially if he is older than 70 years
* A special caveat was added to protect spiritual and cultural leader..... "In the case of religious or cultural organisations, nothing in this code is intended to change the spiritual leadership and responsibilities of Founders, General Overseers, Pastors, Imams and Muslim Clerics, Presidents, Bishops, Apostles, Prophets, etc. which are
distinguishable from purely corporate governance and management responsibilities and accountabilities of the entities."

I have seen where founders have erroneously claimed that the government didn't call them to ministry so the government can't dictate to them how they run their ministries... Hmmm. The government isn't attempting to take away your call or platform cos they aren't responsible for that. However, it is the duty of government to monitor and safeguard corporate governance

My question:
1. Why is it that most mega churches, in Nigeria, break up when the founder dies? And why is it that a mega bank GTB didn't break up or fold when the MD/CEO died?
2. Why is it that most of these churches are inherited by the spouse and children at the demise of the founder? Were the children or spouses equally called? If it is personal or family business (not an NFPO), why are they not paying corporate tax?
3. Why will a founder wants to be the spiritual head, the corporate head and the management head all at the same time? Is it because they thought as the spiritual head they have superior understanding in ALL matters?

We mustn't muster sentiments on the platform of transparency. Nigeria can't be islamised or Christianized. Good morning

I haven't had time to edit the message, pls pardon the typo and grammatical bullets...

Before you comment on this thread answer this question

1. which Muslim leader will be affected by this law with the exception of Elzakzaky which the government of Sheik Buhari wants to destroy

2. When did Buhari become the Holy spirit who decides who should lead the church and for how long

3. Does this laws strips Christians of the opportunity to determine how they wish to be led

4. How many imams will yield to any law of succession in their mosques contrary to Qur'anic prescriptions

When I told people that Osinbajo is useless when it comes to protecting the church and defending the its rights many did not believe , Southern Kaduna Christians who were massacred over 800 of them in one night is a clear example

May God intervene in Nigeria In Jesus Name

Weeps
I am wondering what Buhari has to do with this issue. This law was made by Law makers in the era of Jonathan. And to think of it, I think it is the only good thing Jonathan did for this country.

Those selling the name of Jesus to become non-tax paying billionaires cannot perpetuate themselves on the system forever. If truly the organization is a non profit outfit, there should not be problem seeding it to someone else to run and they be the spiritual Leader like Daddy Adeboye has just done in RCCG. Otherwise, they should register the outfit as a money making ventures and pay tax like every other such outfits.

"Christ has redeemed us, from the curse of sin, of poverty, of death. Yes, but what does it take to get there? It takes faith in the demands. People just believe the promise, but you need to believe the demands. It is believing the demands that entitles you to the fulfilment of the promise.

"There is no provision in scriptures without conditions attached. Even salvation, as free as it is, you need to repent before you can be saved. There is nothing provided for without conditions to meet."

Image the ordacity and insult on Nigeria and Nigerians for a common criminal to threaten our President by saying that will be his last letter, and one Nigerian can say "two elephant". You need to get your head examined, I stand corrected, I think something has gone bad inside there.

you re scammn urself of God blessing
You or any Pastor do not have authority to pronounce how God will bless. It is Gods pirogative (his sovereign power). HE says " it is not for those that willeth or runeth, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy on". That is sovereignty of God over us.

It has nothing to do with my tithing or how much I do or contribute to the church. It is just the mercy of God which you or any Pastor for that matter have no control or influence.

Stop the scamming, Jesus or salvation is not for sale.

Plz do you have a biblical reference to back this point, if yes I will be glad if you can share
The biblical section is Det 14. Read from verse 22. Your tithe is meant for your to be spend for merriment before God, you also to give to Widows, Strangers (less privileged) and Levis (Pastors and Church workers).

I have noticed no church ever refer to this section of the bible when they preach tithe.

Return the stolen loot, get your minimum jail term, spend your jail term in the luxurious section of Kuje, then your heart problem will disappear because you will surely loose weight.

See am now. Imam say chase her away. Why? Where she dey tanda dey preach na your land? No

The ote dem wey dem say to chase person away come go kill am.

Now question: if Imam no teach dem say na to kill the preachers of Jesus sure pass dem for think of killing the woman?

Food for thought!
This criminality is not about Islam, it is about crazy, uneducated and religious fanatics using Islam as an excuse to commit murder.

I have friends and family members of all types of religious orientation, they will not hurt a fly in the name of religion not to talk of human being made in the image of God.

We should all get this basics right, else, we will not be better than these murders.
